This patch doesn’t have much in terms of game content but it’s Chuseok time in Korea so it features two new events, Utah Family Farm and Challenge World! In addition, there’s a few new Ca$h $hop item$ that have $pecial effect$. They collaborated with a Korean artist for this really nice illustration to celebrate the defeat of the Black Mage, which shows the Empress and Shinsoo (as a human)! Aunt Anna’s Golden Field Aunt Anna’s Golden Field is an event where you must defend her golden field from hungry pests and various threats. It will run from September 20 to October 17. You can only gain experience in Golden Field for 30 minutes per day, and during that time, you’ll gain 120% experience from the monsters that spawn. Every day, a certain type of threat will appear randomly after certain amounts of time, and you’ll gain Utah Family Points each time you remove them from the map. Weeds: 150 points Lightning: 300 points Sparrows: 120 points Fire: 500 points (large), 100 points (medium), 50 points (small) Uncle Greed’s Cow Ranch Uncle Greed’s Cow Ranch is an event where you must defeat the wild wolf monsters that are trying to attack the cows, to gain Utah Family Coins. It will run from September 20 to October 17. This quest can only be accepted once per world per day and the character that accepts it can leave and re-enter the map freely until the next day. The wolf monsters that appear in the ranch can only be seen/fought by you, but other players can appear in the same map. All party buff skills will be shared to other characters. Occasionally, a golden bell will appear. You can ring it to activate a special skill to help you defeat the wolves. The number of wolves that appear and the number of coins you will receive are both based on your character’s level. Level 61~99: 20 wolves, 10 Utah Family Coins Level 100~119: 30 wolves, 20 Utah Family Coins Level 120~139: 40 wolves, 30 Utah Family Coins Level 140~159: 50 wolves, 40 Utah Family Coins Level 160~179: 60 wolves, 50 Utah Family Coins Level 180~199: 70 wolves, 60 Utah Family Coins Level 200~209: 80 wolves, 70 Utah Family Coins Level 210~219: 90 wolves, 80 Utah Family Coins Level 220~224: 100 wolves, 90 Utah Family Coins Level 225~275: 110 wolves, 100 Utah Family Coins Note: these coins do not count towards your daily cap of Utah Family Points! Extreme Combine Extreme Combine is a minigame where you have to ride your combine through a field while using the arrow keys to move left and right, avoiding the scarecrows in your way. It will run from September 20 to October 17. As you go further, your speed will increase and the number of Utah Family Points you’ll get per second will increase as well. Bean Sprout Chicken Reverse Bean Sprout Chicken Reverse is the game of Reversi! It will run from September 20 to October 17. You and another user will compete to make the smartest moves to flip over your opponent’s pieces. Based on the number of pieces flipped, you’ll deal damage and be given Utah Family Points. At the end (when there are no more moves left or someone’s HP hits 0), the user with the higher HP will win. You’ll get 1000 Utah Family Points for a win, 500 Points for a loss, and 750 Points for a draw. If you do not make a move within the time limit, the AI will play for you and you will not receive points for that turn. If the AI makes 3 or more turns for you, you will not receive any points for completing the game. If you leave during the game, you will not be able to play again for 15 minutes. Colourful Autumn Fruit The Colourful Autumn Fruit event allows you to get Utah Family Points while hunting monsters. It will run from September 20 to October 3. You can talk to Utah to receive the Fruit Basket. By double clicking this item while in a map with monsters around your level range, you can begin the minigame. For 10 minutes, you can collect the required fruit from defeating the monsters in the map. If you pick up the Persimmon, it will instantly fulfill your current requirements! Bring back the fruit once you have found them all to the basket and it will explode, causing a powerful explosion that gives you Utah Family Points. The number of points will be based on the number of times you have completed the fruit requirements. 1~3 times: 150 points 4~6 times: 200 points 7~9 times: 350 points 10 times: 400 points After completing the fruit mission 10 times, the game will end. The basket has a 5 minute cooldown time before you can use it again. Super Pig Lucky The Super Pig Lucky event will begin on October 4 and run until October 17. By accepting the quest, you’ll receive the Super Pig Lucky skill! When you use it in a map with monsters around your level range, you can summon Lucky, the Super Pig! As you hunt more monsters, Lucky’s power will be charged up. Once it’s fully charged, you can use the skill key to activate Lucky’s Super Power, dealing damage to monsters all around you while giving you Utah Family Points. My Farm Diary The Farm Diary event will run from September 20 to October 17. As you participate in the other events in the Utah Family Farm, you can complete various achievements and receive special rewards. The stats will expire on October 31. Utah’s Abundant Chuseok The Utah’s Abundant Chuseok event will run from September 20 to September 29. The first part of the event is a good old fashioned attendance check. Every day, you have to login and kill 200 monsters to get your rewards. Each day, you’ll receive a certain number of Abundant Chuseok Gift Boxes, based on the number of days you have participated (e.g. 1 box on the first day, 2 boxes on the second day, 10 boxes on the tenth day). Each box will give: 2x Experience Coupon (15 minutes) Tasty Chuseok Buff (30 attack/magic attack for 15 minutes) 10 Utah Family Coins These coins will not count towards your daily limit. The first season will be based on Mu Lung Dojo. Show off your talents in Mu Lung Dojo and receive rewards based on your ranking! Challenge World will run from September 20 to October 18. Ranking Character In Challenge World, you must create entirely new characters to play. You can register one character as your Ranking Character. You can only enter Mu Lung Dojo with your Ranking Character. You can change your registered character at any time by talking to Maple Admin, but if you do so, your previous character’s recorded rankings will be removed. Challenge Skills In Challenge World, you’ll be able to acquire the world-exclusive Challenge Skills, various skills to help grow your character and fight in Mu Lung Dojo. You’ll receive 1 Challenge skill point every day you login, per character, up to 10 points. Challenge Skills can be reset at any time. Challenge: Attack/Magic Attack: Increases your attack/magic attack by 30/60. (max level: 2) Challenge: Critical Damage: Increases your critical damage by 8/16/24/32%. (max level: 4) Challenge: Defense Ignore: Increases your defense ignore by 15/30/45/60%. (max level: 4) Challenge: Critical Rate: Increases your critical rate by 15/30/45/60%. (max level: 4) Entry Limits In Challenge World, you can enter Mu Lung Dojo without any entry limits. However, you will not receive Breakthrough Points if you enter more than 3 times. Challenge World Conditions Challenge World has various conditions on gameplay. You cannot trade items or mesos. You cannot use the Meso Market. You cannot use the gifting, coupons, or payback features of the Cash Shop. In Challenge World’s Cash Shop, Power Elixirs, Monster Incubators, Monster Life Gem Tickets, Practical Packs, Platinum Karma Scissors, and Item Delivery Tickets will not be sold. After the world’s operating period ends, all information will be deleted. You will be paid back the amount of Nexon Cash used in Challenge World as Maple Points after a certain period of time when the world ends. You can accept it after completing the [Labyrinth of Suffering] Root of Suffering quest. To complete it, you must defeat Hard Hilla. You will then receive The One Who Knows the Depths of the Labyrinth medal (15 all stats, 1000 HP/MP, 5 attack/magic attack). Burning World’s usage period has ended. All Burning World characters have been moved to the Burning Leap Zone. Here, you can use your storage, the Alliance Supply Shop, and perform the World Leap. All other content is restricted. The Burning World Leap has begun. From September 20 to October 17, you can move up to 3 level 130 or higher characters in Burning World to Scania, Luna, or Elysium. Note that any characters left in Burning World after October 17 will be deleted. Improvements and Bug Fixes The Cash Shop loading time has been shortened, and the time required to enter the Cash Shop has been shortened as well. The effects and usability of certain skills in Dream Breaker have been changed. The issue where Flame Wizard could use Fire Blink to move to other rooms without using the portals in Dream Breaker was fixed in the 9/6 update, but was missing from the patch notes. Dream Breaker has been changed so that you cannot use Blink skills to move to other rooms without using the portals. Fixed an error where Shadow Flash, Shadow Servant Extend, and Sylphidia did not work correctly if used in Dream Breaker while not in the centre room. Fixed an error where Battle Mage’s Grim Reaper did not follow them when moving between rooms. Fixed an error where while in Ready to Die’s 2nd stage, if you took damage from a % HP attack, the damage would be reduced based on your defence. Fixed an error where the Hyper passive skill Double Lucky Dice – One More Chance description said it increased Double Lucky Dice’s success rate. If Double Lucky Dice does not activate, there is a chance that the cooldown will not be applied and the next Double Lucky Dice will be activated with 4 or higher. Fixed an error where Double Lucky Dice – Enhance caused Double Lucky Dice’s cooldown to not be applied if it didn’t activate. It now correctly increases the chances of rolling 4, 5, or 6 as described. Fixed an error where if your maximum HP was increased by Lucky Dice’s 3 effect and you changed maps, your current HP would be reduced by a certain amount. Fixed an error where using Boost End – Hunter’s Targeting right after using Combat Step would cause it to not activate normally. Fixed an error where using Ark’s Memory of Root while in the air would cause the explosion damage not to apply. Fixed an error where after casting Shadow Flash, Distortion Field, Assistant Hunting Unit, or Drill Container then leaving the map with no characters would cause the installed item to not disappear. In Reboot world, the amount of mesos you acquire is divided based on the number of party members in the map. It will now be divided based on the number of party members regardless of their location. Fixed an error where buff skills with cooldowns did not have their cooldowns decreased while inside Monster Life. When entering Urus with an 18 person expedition, if the expedition leader is not in a party, they will be placed in a 1 person party after entering. Fixed an error where using Vengeance of Angels in Urus would cause unusable skills to appear as usable. Fixed an error where the Road of Vanishing stamp would not be acquired after copmleting the story quests. Fixed an error where the Hungry Muto stamp could only be acquired through Normal Mode monsters, it now counts Easy and Hard mode monsters. Fixed an error where the [★] Another Road to Oblivion stamp had incorrect requirements. The Quest Specialist quest can no longer be completed repeatedly. If you have lost the medal, you can re-acquire it through the Medal UI. Fixed an error where the Premium PC Room Only Damage Skin did not apply occasionally. Fixed an error where the images of the Veritas, Maple Trendy Tablet, Light of Truth and the White Flower did not appear normally. The Red Florence Hair will now appear normally during certain actions and while wearing hats. Certain hair colours will now appear normally during certain actions and while wearing hats. The Tenebris daily quests will no longer change if you don’t accept them from the NPC Velva. They will only change after midnight. Before clearing Labyrinth of Suffering or Limen’s story quests, the Tenebris daily quests NPC Velva will no longer show you missions for areas you have not cleared. You can check your quest progress by seeing if you have the stamps for Labyrinth/Limen. Dusk’s storm pattern’s fixed damage has been decreased. Dusk’s summoned Dust Pipers’ explosions will now inflict darkness. Fixed an error where achievements for defeating Dusk did not apply regularly. Accessory scrolls which cannot be used on shoulderpads will now state that in their tooltips. Fixed an error where characters would have a limit on the number of SPecial Medals of Honor they could use. Fixed an error where certain Outpost soldiers were not in the correct place according to the quest progress in Tenebris. Fixed an error where users who already had the One Beyond Destiny medal would automatically skip the epilogue scenes of Limen. Fixed an error where Kinesis’ Psychic Bullet’s black holes would disappear if the skill key was held down continuously. Fixed an error where Zero could destroy Shadow Flash’s holy areas even when using things like the Giant Rune or Transformation Potions. Fixed an error where certain monsters in Reboot world’s HP and experience were not increased correctly. Shattered Golem Split Golem Fixed an error where Marksman’s True Sniping did not deal damage. Fixed an error where the client would randomly exit if Kinesis used Ultimate – Psychic Bullet after grabbing a monster. Fixed an error where certain characters’ Mu Lung Dojo rankings were not showing correctly. Cash Shop The October Royal Hair Coupon will be on sale from September 20 to October 17. The Trendy Royal Face Coupon has been updated with a new set of faces. From September 20 to October 10, there will be special Cube Packs on sale in the Cash Shop. Each comes with a number of discounted cubes, a few Grand Enhancement Boxes, and a special scroll (100% Epic Potential Scroll, 30% Unique Potential Scroll, 30% Epic Additional Potential Scroll). The Grand Enhancement Box can be opened to get a random item ranging from things like Scroll Traces to 100% Unique Potential Scrolls. The Hangawi Maple Leaf Market sale will take place from September 20 to October 10. There are special Cube Packs, Royal Style Packs, and Golden Apple Packs that are available. While they’re not very discounted, they come with Maple Leaf Stamps. Maple Leaf Stamps can be traded in for various prizes like special chairs, scrolls, Damienroid/Aliciaroid, Lady Blair and Sir Blai hair coupons/faces, the Night Sky Orchid set, or the Jewel Bird Riding. The stamps are tradeable so you can buy them from other people. Wisp’s Wonder Berries will be on sale from September 20 to October 17. When you open one, you’ll get either a random pet, pet food, or Premium Water of Life (270 days of magic for a pet). This time, the Wonder Black pets (rarest) are the Snow Friends but you can also get the Block pets or the Pastry pets! You can buy the equipment for the Wonder Black pets separately, they have 5 attack/magic attack and 9 slots. The Luna Crystal has been added. This is a new item where you can use your Wonder Black pets (from Wisp’s Wonder Berry) and combine them to get special pets or pet equipment. Luna Sweet rank Luna Dream rank Luna Petite rank Luna Crystal Key You use one pet as a base then use another to combine it with. The Luna Crystal can be used with either Wonder Black pets or Luna Sweet pets. The rank of the pet you’ll receive is based on the base pet you used. The Luna Crystal can give the above pets and pet equipment. The Luna Crystal Key is a pet equipment that can only be used by the Luna Petite rank pets. It has 10 attack/magic attack and 8 slots. You cannot use the Pet Equipment Stat Transfer Scroll on it. If you have not received any pets from the Luna Crystal, you can pay back the equipment in the Cash Shop for 540 Maple Points. The rarest ones are the Petite Fairy pets, Oberon, Titania, and Petite Pico. They can equip the Luna Crystal Key but you can also buy their equipment separately. If you get all 3, you’ll receive the Fairy House Chair. The Petite Fairy pets are the only Petite rank pets from the Luna Crystal. So basically, it’s another cash grab RNG combining fest like the Royal Style Coupons/Masterpiece items. But the Luna Petite rank pets have a very special effect: they can pick up items from a larger range. It’s basically item vac hahaha. The Wisp’s Wonder Berry item preview has been added. In the Cash Shop’s Event category’s Wonder Berry tab, you can see the Wonder Berry and Luna Crystal’s possible rewards. Wisp’s Wonder Berry and Luna Crystal’s animations can be skipped by pressing the Esc key while they are happening. The Masterpiece item preview has been changed.
