Dev Team Feedback We fixed an error where the mana stack of Spirit's Domain accumulated more than the mana cost when consuming mana by using Vanquisher's Charm after Spirit's Domain is activated. However, to prevent this error fix from damaging the existing gameplay experience, we increased the mana cost of Vanquisher's Charm and decreased the mana required to boost Spirit's Domain. When Vanquisher's Charm is used after Spirit's Domain is activated, this will keep the time of charging the Spiritstone to Stage 2 at a similar level to how it was before. With the increased mana cost of Vanquisher's Charm, the damage has been increased and the feature that added 30 mana stacks to activate Shikigami Doppelganger was removed to make it more intuitive for skills that accumulate mana stacks to accumulate as much mana as the skill used. Dev Team Feedback We have designed Kanna to excel at various fields that can serve various roles, but as we adjust overpowered spec, Kanna’s characteristic became vague and the overall power level became low. In order to solve this, we decided to focus on Kanna’s damage rather than the party support ability. As a result, Kanna can deal critical damage to enemies and we've adjusted some of the buffs from Spirit’s Domain for it. We also fixed the logic that calculates Mana consumed via Vanquisher’s Charm, as it had a part that worked differently from other skills. In order to reduce the difference in gameplay experiences as much as possible after the change, the Mana Consumption of Vanquisher’s Charm has been adjusted. Spirit’s Domain skill had its Mana cost reduced for enhancement, and Mana Cost Reduction effect has been added to its 1st stage. We expect these changes to create more synergy with various Mana Cost Reductions such as Summon Yuki-Musume and Mana Vein. Ghost Yaksha: Great Oni Lord’s Legion The accumulated offerings based on the summoning time of the Ghost Yaksha Boss 4th or lower Ghost Yaksha are changed to be maintained even when the character dies. Back to Top Grand Athenaeum: Maple Chronicle ‘Book of the Beginning’ has been added in Grand Athenaeum. You can look back on the story of each job through the Book of the Beginning, which is newly added to Grand Athenaeum. The Book of the Beginning contains the stories of Explorer, Cygnus Knights, and Resistance jobs, and other jobs will be revealed through future updates. The Day After story will be revealed through the Book of Arcane River in the future. The Book of the Beginning is unlocked when each 'Book of Job’ achievement is held. Upon changing jobs, Jett’s currently equipped items, stats, and skills will be converted appropriately for the new job. At the end of the Jett Job Advancement to Explorer event, all non-participating Jett characters will be converted into Beginners and any Jett-related achievements will be moved to the History tab. Existing Jett characters will still be playable during the event until the start of the first Winter Patch (tentatively November 2023). At the start of the first Winter Patch, players logging into any remaining Jett characters will be required to transfer to an Explorer class.
