↑ Prologue ↓
800 years ago, Alicia, the Transcendent of Life of Maple World, created the Tower of Oz with the help of the Winter Bard, Ryude. With his help, Alicia was able to protect many stupid monster lives from the Black Mage!
However, the Tower of Oz's guardians, whom Alicia created and modeled after her favorite childhood story, grew too powerful for her to control, and are now running omok. You must stop Dorothy and the guardians to regain control of the Tower of Oz!
Unforunately, the Tower of Oz's defense system, which only allows those that have the intelligence of a simple monster to enter, blocks your way! Thankfully, Alicia has Stupid Pills on hand (who doesn't?) which can reduce your intelligence level to that of a mere monster, paving the way for a grand expedition!
The Tower of Oz is a 50 floor dungeon consisting of a wide variety of challenges. You can answer Alicia's Soul's call to the Tower of Oz through the quest [Tower of Oz] Tower Under the Sea in the quest lightbulb at Level 140 and above. You can return to the Tower of Oz through the Dimensional Mirror.
In other regions, the Tower of Oz may be referred to as The SEED.
↑ Requirements, Limitations ↓
- You must be Level 140 or above to enter the Tower of Oz.
- You don't really need much damage (200k will do you fine) until you reach Floor 47.
- You can do Oz with a group, but whether you can interact or team up with others or not is based on the floor you're on.
- The Stupid Timer (how long you can stay in the Tower) has a base time of 10 minutes and can be expanded up to 1 hour and 30 minutes by adding Stupid Pills.
- You can only go through 200 total floors a day. (And if you enter Floor 01 with any amount of floors remaining that day, even having just 1 floor left, you can just continue that run all the way through. It won't stop you mid-run or anything.)
- Logging out on any stage that is not a rest stage will end your run.
- There are potion cooldowns on every floor that's not Floor 03, the lobby, or a rest floor.
↑ Witch Shop ↓
In the Lobby, Glinda sells a wide variety of items in exchange for Oz Points, which you get from Oz Pouches and from clearing every floor.

Stupid Pills
What Stupid Pills to Buy?
Prescription Stupid Pills cannot be traded, but Generic Stupid Pills can be traded to other players! But Generics cost twice as much (ironic...) and give less Stupid Time than Prescription Stupid Pills.
The best value Stupid Pill to purchase if you're trying to farm Oz Points is thePrescription Pretty Stupid Pill (300 Oz Points), but the
Prescription Pants-On Head Stupid Pill will last you the longest, and is the one you should be using to clear the Tower.
Stupid Pill Expansion
Talk to Alicia's Soul in the Lobby to expand your Stupid Pill slots. These costs may seem like a lot, but once you get going deep down inside the Tower, it gets much easier to stock up on Oz Points. The first slot is automatically unlocked for you upon completing the tutorial.
Slot Cost Highest Floor Cleared 1 - - 2 8,000 Oz Points Floor 10 3 28,000 Oz Points Floor 20 4 55,000 Oz Points Floor 30 5 80,000 Oz Points Floor 40
↑ General Tips ↓
- The
Clever Lady Hotline is given to you upon completion of the tutorial. You may use it to return to the Lobby at any point in your run. If you lose it, you can speak to Alicia's Soul in the Lobby to get another one. Using it on Floor 23 and Floor 33 will also allow you to be brought back up and reset the stage respectively.
- The
Tower of Oz Practice Ticket lets you enter any floor for practice with an exception of a few floors, and anything past Floor 39. This will put you in the actual live floor that you choose, allowing you to help friends out if they need assistance in their real run or if you just need some practice. It's also good for setting floors up, such as Floor 21. Any currently equipped Stupid Pill will be used when you go to a floor with a Practice Ticket, and Finley will not spawn.
- Have a pet so you can loot drops efficiently. Even free Blackheart pets from Hard Hilla are better than nothing.
- It is highly recommended that you grab a video recorder such as OBS Studio to record your run if you can reach Floor 43. It's much easier to just record your run and document on rest floors from your videos, rather than jotting down answers to Floor 43 questions on the fly.
- On certain floors, Finley will spawn after a certain amount of time and will proceed to kill you if you stay too long on the floor - I've marked the floors with a Finley icon on the floors which he spawns in, as well as how long until he appears. Thieves, you can avoid him with Dark Sight if needed.
- If the next floor is a solo-only floor, attempting to enter the portal while in a party to the next floor after you cleared it will pause the Stupid Timer. You can use this to catch your breath, wait for friends, or buff up. Throughout the guide I've marked the floors with an icon and in the tips where you can do this trick on. However, Finley will still spawn if he does appear on that floor. Unlike staying in a tutorial, don't use this as a way to take an extended break if Finley spawns on that floor.
- Staying in a tutorial will not consume your Stupid Timer. Use this to let skills cooldown, to take a break, or to wait for your party members. Finley will also not spawn during a tutorial.
- You should cube for invincibility on a top or an overall - you can get 100% chance to tier equips from Root Abyss boxes. Aim for 2-3 seconds of additional invincibility. It's highly recommended to get one, as it will help immensely on Floor 48.

↑ Tower of Oz Skill Rings ↓
Tower of Oz skill rings can be obtained by forming aHidden Ring Box with
Broken Box Pieces or by opening a Rank 7 or higher
Alicia's Ring Box. When you obtain a skill ring, they are given as randomly as levels 1 through 4, and there's no way to upgrade or otherwise change their levels; what you get is what you get. They also cannot be traded after being equipped, and Platinum Scissors of Karma do not work on them. Equip them, and they'll stay on that character forever.
Skill ring buffs disappear immediately if you unequip the skill ring while its buff is still active. However, the skill cooldown does still decrease while the skill ring is not equipped, so for content such as Mu Lung Dojo, you can burst with your skill ring, then unequip it and wait until it's off cooldown, and promptly re-equip it. Also, you cannot equip more than one skill ring at a time.

The Best Skill Rings?
Generally speaking, theRing of Restraint and the
Weapon Jump rings are the best of the bunch.
TheWeapon Jump rings are probably the best due to having no drawbacks. At maximum level, it'll take your weapon's Attack Power or Magic Attack and multiply it by 4 and add it to stat, and is affected by potential. So if you had a 700 Attack Power weapon, you'd get +2,800 stat, which is a massive stat boost as it's affected by potential %stat increases and flames. Classes that use Claws may not want to use this though, as Claws innately have low Attack Power.
However, theRing of Restraint is quite as well powerful (+100% Attack Power / Magic ATT at level 4!) - overall likely more powerful than Weapon Jump can be in terms of raw power. It does have the drawback of being restrained to the zone it creates, though.
The Risk Taker Ring can be great for classes with 30 second invincibility frames - such as the Heroes classes and Paladin.
TheDurability Ring is fantastic if you're a Demon Avenger, of course - it doubles your HP and lasts for 30 seconds unlike most Oz Rings!

Icon guide:
- Finley spawns on this floor (x minutes until appearance).
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 00 - The Lobby ↓
Objective: Equip your Stupid Pills, set up Floor 21 through aTower of Oz Practice Ticket, and ensure that the tutorial is set to the option that you want it to be (I recommend it to be enabled, especially if running with a group). Also, make sure to turn off pet loot before you proceed, in preparation for Floor 02 (or if you have the Pet Ignore Pet Skill, add the
Seal Breaker Card to pet ignore).
If you're running with a group, I'd also recommend meeting up on Floor 05 individually (running on different channels), as the first 5 floors are solely individual-based ones - you can really screw each other over if you don't run separately.
↑ Floor 01 - Let's Start ↓(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 100 monsters total or deal 50 million damage total.
↑ Floor 02 - Pick a Card, Any Card ↓(10 min)
Objective: Trick all the seals by using a higher number card or a Violet card on each of them.
Having the same card number as a seal will not work.
You need to have a higher number card to trick the seals. So this does work!

- Violet cards can be used on any seal, even one that has been cleared by a Violet (perhaps by another player) already.
- The seals increment down by 1 every 30 minutes.
- If you use a Violet on a seal, the seal will reset back to 1 after 1 minute.
- You yourself have to trick all 4 seals. Others tricking the seals in the map will not help your progress. In fact, they'll probably hurt your progress.
- Turn off pet loot for this floor or add the
Seal Breaker Card to pet ignore.
- Drop rate buffs and gear help on this floor.
↑ Floor 03 - Delicious Eggs ↓(10 min)
![]()
Objective: Collect 1,000 eggs cumulatively.
Tips:
- Before you freak out, it's not that bad. Each monster has a chance of dropping up to 3 drops which can contain up to 10 per drop for a maximum total of 30 eggs per mob. Making one or two rotations around the map with just a Big Spider familiar should clear the stage.
- Make sure to turn back on your pet loot for this stage.
- Don't bet on an NPC. It's not worth it. Just simply kill and loot eggs.
- This floor seems to be the only non-lobby and non-rest floor to not have a potion cooldown for some really odd reason.
- Drop rate buffs and gear help on this floor.
↑ Floor 04 - Tight Rope ↓(10 min)
Objective: Eliminate monsters on the side that Alicia tells you in order to achieve 300 Balance Points.
Tips:
- Each monster killed on the side that Alicia tells you to kill on will increase your Balance Points by 5 per monster.
- On the flip side, if you kill on the wrong side, you will be deducted 5 Balance Points for each monster killed.
- The detection for the "correct side" that you're killing on is based on what side your character is physically residing on. For example, if you were a Bowmaster and you installed Arrow Blaster on the right side, but you were on the left side, it would count as if you were killing on the left side, despite eliminating monsters on the right. Be careful with your summons!
- Roughly every 50 monsters killed (or 250 Balance Points), the tower will lean to the other side.
↑ Floor 05 - Rest Stage 1 ↓
Tips:
- Congrats! You've reached the first rest stage. In rest stages, your Stupid Timer will not deplete and you are also free to log out. However, you can't change channels (though you can logout and then log back in onto another channel) or use the Cash Shop. Use rest stages as a moment to party up and take a break.
- If you're with a group, party up for Floor 06, as that will be a killing quest. The kills count for all party members just like any other quest.
↑ Floor 06 - Sliiiimesssssss! ↓![]()
(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 300 Slimes.
Tips:
- A King Slime kill counts as 30 Slimes. They appear every 30 seconds.
- King Slimes disappear after 10 seconds. Be sure to hunt it down immediately. There will be a blue notification in your chat window notifying you that a King Slime has appeared. Keep an eye out for it.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 07 - Protect the Adventurer ↓
Objective: Eliminate all Lupins while protecting Ripley, the injured adventurer.
↑ Floor 08 - Another Kill Quest ↓![]()
(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 100 monsters cumulatively.
Tips:
- The lava terrain attacks reduce your HP and MP to 1%.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 09 - The Teleport Maze ↓
Objective: Reach the end of the teleport maze.
Tips:
- In an effort to save a little bit of time, you should attempt the rightmost (4th) platform on entry.
- Try the process of elimination in choosing platforms (e.g. "3 is wrong, so I'll select anything but 3").
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.

Cooldown: 10 seconds
Objective: Eliminate the Giant Spider.
Tips:
- This boss isn't too difficult. Relatively low HP, but it does have a Attack Reflection skill that lasts for 6 seconds. The animation is as obvious as Crimson Queen's, however.
- You have a life counter in all bosses in the Tower of Oz, so even if you do die, it shouldn't be an issue. Please don't let dying on Floor 10 be the end of your run.
↑ Floor 11 - Ancient Golems ↓(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 300 monsters cumulatively.
↑ Floor 12 - Thorn Jumps ↓
Objective: Reach the end of the jump quest.
Tips:
- There are certain pathways that will send you backwards. Pathways are instanced, meaning that if you see a friend get teleported backwards from one pathway, it doesn't necessarily mean that you yourself will be sent back if you go through that same pathway (though it can end up being that way).
- Follow the method that is shown in the above GIF to do a proper thorn jump. What I did was I jumped forward onto the thorn and held jump and forward all the way through the maneuver. Hold jump and forward from start to finish, as shown above!
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 13 - Oh, Meteors! ↓
![]()
![]()
![]()
Objective: Eliminate 80 monsters cumulatively while also making sure they do not reach the leftmost side of the map.
Tips:
- Don't get too far ahead. If you pass where monsters spawn, you'll miss them, and if 5 monsters reach the left corner, that's it for you.
- The green meteors here do more than 50% of your HP, and the blue meteors will instantly kill you.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it. Though I don't recommend you do that on this floor.
↑ Floor 14 - Shoot 'em up! ↓
![]()
Objective: Shoot all the monsters.
Tips:
- All the mobs have a fixed flight pattern - if you're having trouble aiming at them, wait for them to meet your cursor rather than trying to chase them down.
- After 3 missed shots, your Stupid Timer will be reduced by 30 seconds for each missed shot onward.
- Touch screens may or may not have a large advantage on this floor.
↑ Floor 15 - Stretch! It's Rest Stage 2 ↓
Tips:
- Party up for Floor 16, as it is another killing quest.
↑ Floor 16 - Just Yet Another Kill Quest ↓(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 200 monsters cumulatively.
↑ Floor 17 - Leap of Faith ↓
Objective: Reach the end of the jump quest.
Tips:
- The thorn jump method shown in the Floor 12 section applies to this floor.
- Finley does not appear on this floor - take your time. If you fall, you'll have to walk all the way back.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 18 - Go Nuts with Coconuts ↓![]()
(5 min)
Objective: Collect 10 Coconuts.
Tips:
- Boxes have a random chance to drop 1-2 Coconuts or to spawn a batch of Clangs and Lorangs.
- You have to eliminate spawned Clangs and Lorangs, otherwise Alicia will not let you proceed to the next floor until you do so.
- You can hit the coconut trees for a guaranteed chance of dropping 1 Coconut. However, they take 4 hits instead of the 3 required to break a box, and have more iframes between hits than boxes do. You should try to open as many boxes as you can first.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 19 - "Why the long way?" ↓
Objective: Follow Fleta to the end of the map.
Tips:
- Don't stray too far from Fleta for too long or let her die, otherwise you will immediately fail your run.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.

Skill is cancelled if a Hookshot or a push/pull skill is used

Objective: Eliminate the Tin Woodman.
Tips:
- If you're a Bowmaster or a Marksman, the
![]()
Hookshot skill will bind him for a short period of time if you use it on him while he's charging up the tin (that's when the bar appears over his head).
- Using a skill that pulls or pushes monsters will also bind him if you use it on him while he's charging up the tin.
↑ Floor 21 - Don't Run in My Channel ↓(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate Eliza.
Tips:
- Killing 300 monsters will summon Eliza.
- You can use a
Tower of Oz Practice Ticket to get here and set the floor up by killing 299 monsters. To count how many you killed, you can open your Medal Inventory and start the Veteran Hunter challenge. When you arrive on your real run, you can just kill one monster, and voila, Eliza will appear, as that was the 300th monster! (Assuming no other person ran on that channel and summoned her.)
- Eliza will disappear after a short amount of time. Make sure to kill her quickly.
↑ Floor 22 - Tier Up or Tear Up ↓
Objective: Reach the end of the jump quest.
Tips:
- The thorn jump method shown in the Floor 12 section applies to this floor with the thorn at the beginning of the map.
- The right edges of most disappearing cloud platforms are safe to stand on while they're hidden.
- Try not to rush. If the cloud's been there for more than a second, and you're on a safe platform, just wait for it to reappear!
- Falling into the pit will send you back to the beginning and deduct 1 minute off of your Stupid Timer.
- Finley does not appear on this floor. Don't rush it!
↑ Floor 23 - Henesys in the Middle of El Nath? ↓
Objective: Reach the end of the jump quest.
Tips:
- Press up on portals before the chains of hidden platforms to view them. They will display for everyone, so you can get carried by quickly going across them as they display if another person views them.
- Previewing the platforms will checkpoint you, so if you fall and use the Clever Lady Hotline to get back up, you'll be sent up to the portal rather than the very beginning of the floor. If you don't preview the platforms, you'll be sent to the beginning.
- You can drop mesos to mark the invisible platforms. They defy gravity!
- Use the
Clever Lady Hotline item to warp back to the top if you fall.
↑ Floor 24 - I Hope You Play with BGM On ↓(10 min)
Objective: Type in the town of the currently playing BGM to proceed.
Tips:

↑ Floor 25 - Halfway There! Rest Stage 3 ↓
Tips:
- Take this moment to party up, as the next floor is a kill quest.
↑ Floor 26 - Summon to Kill ↓(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 300 Orange Slimes.
Tips:
- You can summon more Orange Slimes by dropping 10 of their drops onto the altar in the middle of the map.
- You should only drop 10 Orange Slime Liquid at a time. Dropping any less will not summon Orange Slimes, and dropping more doesn't do anything more than just wasting drops.
- You can only summon 2 consecutive times in a row without killing anything. If you try to summon more than the maximum monsters allowed, Alicia won't allow you to, which wastes your drops.
↑ Floor 27 - Jetts Get it Easy... ↓
Objective: Reach the end of the jump quest.
Tips:
- As with Floor 12, the pathways on this stage are instanced.
- If you happen to be a Jett, after the rope segment, thanks to Jett's passive skill allowing higher movement speed over every class, you can just simply hop onto the platform to the right, skipping about 60% of the floor. Jett privilege, SMH.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 28 - Pleads, Please ↓![]()
(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 20 Bellomoas and 20 Pleads each.
Tips:
- Hit the tree at the top-center of the map to spawn monsters.
- The type of monsters that spawn and the location where they spawn when you hit the tree are completely random each and every time.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 29 - Unlucky Seven ↓
x10 ->
Objective: Drop 1 to 7 Red Sand Crystals (the amount required is a random amount specific to you and your current run every time) by the tree at the top right of the map to proceed.
Tips:
- Drop rate buffs and gear help on this floor.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 30 - Boss Battle 3: A Coward's Fight ↓
Use the Fear Amplifier to summon the Cowardly Lion when you first enter the map. It can also be used to weaken him if he gains too much power.
Objective: Eliminate the Cowardly Lion.
↑ Floor 31 - Slow Down ↓![]()
(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 200 monsters cumulatively.
Tips:
- Be careful on this floor with your attacking. If you disturb a Fairy by hitting them, they will call more Fairies and shield nearby monsters from your attacks, possibly making things slower in the long run.
- A Fairy usually spawns right when you spawn into the map, and disappears shortly after (about 30 seconds after it spawns). After it disappears, a new Fairy will spawn in about 1 minute. During the time that there's no Fairy, go all out, but keep the spawn time in mind.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 32 - Fly High! ↓
Objective: Eliminate all the Blue Ancient Slimes in the map.
Tips:
- Classes that cannot attack in the air can hold down rapid fire skills (e.g. Mille Aiguilles) and walk into the springs. When you walk into a spring, you'll still be using the skill, even while you're midair.
- The
Arrow Blaster skill (for Bowmasters and Phantoms) can clear this floor efficiently if pressed and held into one of the springs.
Soul Weapon summons are also helpful on this floor if your class cannot attack midair efficiently.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 33 - Up and Down and All Around ↓
Objective: Reach the end of the teleport maze.
Tips:
- You can use the
Clever Lady Hotline to reset the stage if you get stuck...in exchange for 33 Oz Points. Be careful: you can only reset 4 times until you can no longer reset. You shouldn't need to reset that many times, though.
- If you drop the keys to the right of the first portal and reset the stage through the
Clever Lady Hotline item, the keys will still be there upon resetting the stage. It's recommended to drop the keys, reset the stage, pick them up, and buy a set of keys from Secreta for a strong chance of quickly finishing the stage.
- The end of the teleport maze is the bottom-right portal.
- If you reset the stage, the tutorial will play again if it's enabled, but Stupid Time during it will not be frozen for some reason.
- After resetting the stage once, you can speak to Secreta to buy more sets of keys.
↑ Floor 34 - ...actually really easy... ↓(5 min)
![]()
Objective: Collect 10 Purple Leather to proceed.
Tips:
- The
Purple Leather is dropped by the Purple Curly Cows at the top of the map. You can reach the top of the map by getting 10
Yellow Leather drops and entering one of the portals on the left and right of the map.
- If you have a vertical movement skill that boosts you high enough, you can use Rope Lift afterwards to get to the top of the map, bypassing the need to collect Yellow Leather to get up there in the first place.
- The Purple Curly Cow's attacks do super knockback that ignore all of your normal Knockback Resistance.
↑ Floor 35 - Rest Stage 4 ↓
Tips:
- Take this moment to party up, as Floor 37 is another kill quest.
- Review for Floor 43 if you recorded for Floor 43. Don't forget to mark the time!
- If you're running with others, go to Floor 36 one at a time so you don't mess each other up.
↑ Floor 36 - Passcode ↓
Objective: Hit the monsters in the order given by Secreta.
Tips:
- The monster order isn't random every time. It just repeats and adds one new monster to the passcode everytime you speak to Secreta, up to 8 monsters.
- The power of Notepad is strong.
↑ Floor 37 - Just Kill 100! ...of each. ↓![]()
(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 100 of each monster.
Tips:
- Kiyos and Scorpions have the worst spawn.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 38 - Dark Energies of Darkness ↓(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate what One Who Fights The Darkness tells you to until the dark energy counter reaches 0.
↑ Floor 39 - The Monster Life, uh, Life ↓
Objective: Answer the questions that One Who Loves Quizzes gives to proceed.
Tips:
Floor 39 Questions & Answers:
- Finley will not appear on this stage. Don't worry. Just take your time to search the tables below with the power of Ctrl+F!
- You'll fail the quiz and start over from the beginning after 2 wrong answers.
- You can retry the quiz as many times as you wish. You can't fail the floor by failing the quiz - the only thing that will fail you is your Stupid Timer running out.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.

Objective: Eliminate Scarecrow.
Tips:
- You cannot attack Scarecrow normally. You have to lure him into the fire in order to damage him. The longer he's in the fire, the more damage he will take. See the Fire Stacks table above.
- Knockback and bind skills do work on Scarecrow.
↑ Floor 41 - Calm Before...the Meteors ↓
Objective: Reach the end of the jump quest.
↑ Floor 42 - Casual Solo ↓(7 min)
Objective: Reach the end of the jump quest after killing 30 of each monster.
Tips:
- The real platforms in the middle of the map are the ones with the grass facing right.
- Your pets are de-summoned on this floor. Make sure you heal yourself if you're struck by meteors, as auto HP will not work. Meteors do 1/3 of your HP. Make sure to buff too if needed.
- The platforms after Beetles and Dual Beetles do not have the same appear/disappear timers. For the platform after Dual Beetles, the second platform lasts longer and disappears for longer than the first one - be sure to keep this in mind so you don't fall.
- Reminder that you can party on this stage! It's not that difficult to solo, though.
↑ Floor 43: Yeah, about Floor 11... ↓(10 min)
Objective: Answer all 7 of Fleta's questions about your run correctly. If you get a question wrong, you'll need to kill some mobs and retry the question. After 4 wrong answers overall (not per question), you simply just can't proceed anymore.
Floor 43 Questions Pool:

- 15 White Thorny Bears always appear in their first specific wave, then a random amount will appear in the final wave.
Floor 13 How many Green Flower Cows did you eliminate on the 13th floor?Tips:
- 15 Green Flower Cows always appear in their first specific wave, then a random amount will appear in the final wave.
Floor 21 How many monsters did you eliminate?Tips:
- This does not include kills done by your party or Eliza.
Floor 22 How many times did you fall? Enter only numbers.Tips:
- In-game, the question says "on the 21st floor", but it's actually asking for the falls on Floor 22.
Floor 23 How many times did you fall and had to ask Alicia to send you back? Floor 23 When you tried to look for paths on the 23rd floor, did Alicia ever tell you to wait because someone else was already looking? Enter Yes or No.Tips:
- This question used to be bugged and you had to include the period in "No.", but it's fixed now.
Floor 24 Which town was the correct answer to the first question? Enter it exactly as you told Dorothy. Floor 24 Which town was the correct answer to the second question? Enter it exactly as you told Dorothy. Floor 24 Which town was the correct answer to the third question? Enter it exactly as you told Dorothy. Floor 24 Which town was the correct answer to the fourth question? Enter it exactly as you told Dorothy. Floor 26 How many times did you successfully summon monsters by dropping Orange Slime Liquids?Tips:
- Summons where Alicia says you can't summon anymore do not count.
- If you're in a party, it might become bugged and the answer could become 0.
Floor 26 How many Orange Slime Liquids did you get? Enter only numbers.Tips:
- If you're solo, you can easily calculate it by using this formula:(Summons * 10) + (Orange Slime Liquids taken away when entering Floor 27, see the chat window) = Answer
Floor 28 How many times were monsters summoned on the upper left side of the room? Floor 28 How many times were monsters summoned on the upper right side of the room? Floor 28 How many times were monsters summoned on the left side of the room? Floor 28 How many times were monsters summoned on the right side of the room? Floor 28 How many times were monsters summoned on the lowest left side of the room? Floor 28 How many times were monsters summoned on the lowest right side of the room? Floor 29 How many Red Sand Crystals did you drop near the tree to the right? Enter only numbers. Floor 31 How many times did Fairies spawn?Tips:
- See the chat window for Fairy spawn messages in blue text.
Floor 31 How many peers did the fairies summon?Tips:
- This question is translated wrong in-game - it's not how many peers were summoned, it's how many times a call for peers was sent out. 1 call is sent when you directly kill a Fairy that spawned by blue text.
- For example, you directly kill a Fairy that spawned by blue text, and 4 of their Fairy peers spawn. But the fact that 4 Fairy peers spawned is irrelevant; that was 1 call for peers, so the answer is 1.
Floor 33 How many Clockwise (blue) Labyrinth Keys did you have left when you exited the 33rd floor? Enter only numbers. Floor 33 How many Counterclockwise (red) Labyrinth Keys did you have left when you exited the 33rd floor? Enter only numbers. - Calculator
- Fleta is asking for the Stupid Timer in terms of seconds. For example, if you have 1:02:55 on your Stupid Timer, your answer would be 3775.
Floor 36 What's the password?Tips:
- Orange Mushroom = 1
- Snail = 2
- Ribbon Pig = 3
- Slime = 4
Floor 38 How many times did the dark energy transfer to to a different monster?Tips:
- This does not include the first Grizzly Bear hunt that you always are started off with. It's how many changes of dark energy there are.
Floor 43 questions plaintext fill-in sheet: Pastebin Link
↑ Floor 44 - Easy Enough! ↓
Objective: Reach the end of the jump quest. If you made it through Floor 42, this should be a cakewalk.
↑ Floor 45 - Final Rest Stage ↓
Tips:
- Good job on making it this far! Take this moment to party up if there's anyone left with you. The next floor is a simple killing quest.
- Don't use your buffs for Dorothy yet - Floor 49 will cancel all your buffs. If you need damage for Floor 47, go ahead, but if you want to use buffs for Dorothy, wait until you get onto Floor 50.
↑ Floor 46 - Simple Enough! ↓![]()
(5 min)
Objective: Eliminate 200 monsters cumulatively.
Tips:
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 47 - A Strange Sort of Story ↓
(The door is a mammal...)
Objective: Eliminate the door after touching a hidden switch (the location of it is random every time, it will appear in one of the green square locations in the map extraction below).
Tips:
- See the map extraction below to see where the invisible platforms are.
Rope Lift is immensely helpful on this floor if your class doesn't have a vertical mobility skill.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 48 - The Real Hero of Oz? ↓
Objective: Follow Fleta to the end of the map.
The above video showcases my minimap overlay and guides you through the floor. See the below guide on how to set up the minimap overlay through OBS.
Here is a Floor 48 minimap I created that shows the hidden platforms, as well as the dangerous areas to stand around in (indicated by red). Use the overlay in the expanded minimap mode where it shows the map's region and name.
This minimap was last updated on 2019-01-29.
How do you use it as an overlay, you ask?
In OBS Studio, create a new Scene (bottom-left of OBS) and name it "Floor 48 Minimap" or something to that effect. Select the Scene you just created.
Next, in Sources (to the right of Scenes), add MapleStory as a Game Capture source (if Game Capture doesn't work, try Window Capture) - name it "MapleStory" - and the above minimap image as an Image Source - name it "Floor 48 Minimap". The Floor 48 Minimap Source should be above the MapleStory source.
"I did that, but MapleStory isn't showing up on OBS's preview window in the center! It's just the overlay all by itself..."
Two possible causes:
1. OBS cannot record or even see MapleStory while MapleStory is minimized in fullscreen mode. This doesn't mean you can't use the overlay in a fullscreen-type mode - you'll just have to do a couple of extra steps, detailed a bit below. Go into windowed mode for now.
2. OBS may need to be ran as administrator in order to record or even see MapleStory (Right-click -> Run as Administrator on OBS).
Hopefully it'll appear in OBS now.
Now, how do you play MapleStory: windowed or fullscreen? Follow the applicable guide to set up OBS below:
You should set OBS Studio as Always On Top by clicking File > Always On Top. This makes it so OBS Studio is forced to be on top of the MapleStory window so you can view the overlay while still being able to control your character by Alt+Tabbing back to MapleStory.
First, go into File > Settings, and in General, check "Make projectors always on top".
Now, switch MapleStory to windowed mode, as MapleStory's fullscreen mode overrides OBS's fullscreen projection mode. OBS will be the one that goes fullscreen, not MapleStory.
After that, right-click the preview window in OBS (the center of the OBS window where it displays MapleStory and the Floor 48 minimap overlay) and click Fullscreen Projector (Preview) > then select your display (image of it here in case you're lost).
Once you see OBS projecting MapleStory + the Floor 48 minimap overlay in fullscreen, you now should Alt+Tab into MapleStory to gain control of your character.
OBS's fullscreen projector (which includes MapleStory along with the overlay) should be fullscreening itself on top of your display, above everything else. It should be essentially the same as playing MapleStory in fullscreen, except the overlay is now there! Once you're done with the fullscreen projection, you can right-click anywhere on your screen and click Close to exit out of it.
"It works fine, but the minimap is too small for me to see it clearly!"
In order to enlarge the minimap, create a new Game (or Window if you went with that) Capture source, but instead of "Create new" in the window that appears, select "Add Existing" and select your existing MapleStory capture. You should have two MapleStory sources now, and it should be ordered like this:
From there, you'll need to right-click the MapleStory source in the middle (as highlighted above) and the Floor 48 Minimap source and click Transform > Edit Transform for each and put in these values:
That should be all! Good luck and no clown it!
Tips:
- Clear the path for Fleta to go through. If she dies (unlikely though as she does have a LOT of HP. In fact, she has about 3 minutes worth of constantly getting hit until she runs out of HP), you will be immediately kicked out of the Tower. Yes, I tested.
- However, don't kill the monsters too far ahead of Fleta, because she won't stop for you except at certain points. You'll likely need her to stop to kill some monsters in the likely case that you're falling behind her. If you get too far from her for too long (about 30 seconds), you will be immediately kicked out of the Tower.
- Most obstacles on this map knock you back to the left by one platform, except for the shuriken on the left edge of the map and the green fluffy ball thing next to it, which just very slightly hits you to the right.
- Zero is extremely good on this floor - you can tag into Alpha/Beta onto the platform ahead of you.
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.
↑ Floor 49 - Snails are Mammals! ↓
Objective: Answer what monsters are in the cage to proceed.
Tips:
- If you misspell or get a question wrong, Dorothy will instantly deduct 5 minutes from your Stupid Timer, no questions asked.
- Sand Dwarf is bugged in GMS. If you get the Sand Dwarf question, skip it. Not really sure why, perhaps a typo or capitalization error in the game's answer list? It's not censored in chat...
- Please don't select the last option in Dorothy's dialogue. You'll regret it. (It makes Dorothy kick you out from the Tower.)
- You can pause the Stupid Timer on this floor by attempting to enter the next floor while in a party after clearing it.

Super knockback

Summon Toto
Summons Toto (skills and HP detailed below)
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Objective: Defeat Dorothy.
Tips:
- Prepare to use a lot of HP recovery skills. The meteors here will never stop falling. Bowmasters, time to lock in Blood Arrows.
- Don't get too far from Dorothy. She can use a laser that damages more heavily the further away you are from her.
- Dorothy has an inverted version of Magnus's blue damage reduction aura, meaning that you should keep a small distance away from her to deal your full damage against her. Standing right next to her will reduce your final damage output by 90%.
↑ Floor ??? - The...End?
"Thank you! But...I still don't have control of the Tower...I've got a hunch that things aren't over just yet..."
"This isn't the end. We will retreat and regroup for now...but we'll be back."
Does this mean the Tower of Oz will be expanded or get a sequel? Who knows...maybe it'll happen by the time Florina Beach and Neo City come back. Cough.Credits to:
