New Job: Cadena, the Chain of Liberation

Cadena, a member of Grandis’ Nova race, was a part of the royal family. When Magnus attacked and took over the citadel, she was injured and has been sleeping ever since. After opening her eyes, she vowed to become strong and abandoned her original name. She took the name Cadena and became a member of the Shadow Merchants.

Cadena is a thief class and uses chains as her weapon to attack enemies directly. She can also throw them at the ground or at enemies to move there instantly. In addition, Cadena uses back-alley fight tactics with a variety of brilliant techniques with different weapons.

Cadena’s Maple Union effect is 10/20/40/80/100 LUK.

When creating Cadena, you will have a choice between male and female. They have the Street Punk Hair and Nova Royalty Face and the only thing you can change is the hair colour.

    [IMG] [IMG]
Cadena’s starting town is Savage Terminal.

    • Savage Terminal is a back alley planet in Grandis where all kinds of things and bad guys gather. The notorious Shadow Merchants also have a branch here.
    • Cadena performs several missions for the Savage Terminal branch and grew up as a member of the Shadow Merchants while interacting with the surrounding residents.
    • If you do not complete the early tutorial quest ‘Mr Hazard?!’, you will not be able to obtain experience, mesos, or items outside of Savage Terminal.
    • Characters other than Cadena can go to Savage Terminal using Pantheon’s movement portal. However, for Kaiser and Angelic Buster, you must have already completed the quests that allow you to go to Maple World.

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    • [IMG] Chain Arts: Chase: Fire a chain that connects to an enemy and move to them instantly. If you hold the key down, when you release it you will move to where the chain is or the enemy it connects to. Forward firing will only connect to enemies while upwards/downwards firing will only connect to platforms/the ground and it will only connect up to a certain distance. Downwards firing can only be used in the air and all firing will temporarily slow down regardless of the direction if used in the air. When you press the skill key again while it is connected to something, move instantly to that place. When a chain is connected or while it is moving, you will enter Dark Sight state temporarily. Enemies connected to a chain will be slowed for a certain period of time. You can link this skill while using other skills. [↑ + skill key] Fire upwards at a 45° angle. [↓ + skill key] Fire downwards at a 45° angle. (max level: 10)

    • [IMG] Chain Arts: Stroke: Press the attack key to perform 2 consecutive attacks. After grabbing the chain like a whip, swing it at enemies instantly. The second hit will push back enemies and slow them for a certain period of time. Using the centrifugal force when turning the chain, it is possible to link with other attacks in between the 1st and 2nd hits. The centrifugal force at that time will make the damage of the linked skill stronger. You can link this skill while using other attacks at the same time. (max level: 10) (level 10 is required to learn Chain Arts: Stroke 1st Enhancement)
      • Level 10: Consumes 13 MP. 1st hit: 150% damage 2 times on up to 4 enemies. 2nd hit: 150% damage 2 times on up to 6 enemies, enemies hit will be slowed for 5 seconds. Skills used immediately after the 1st hit (except Chain Arts: Stroke) will have their final damage increased by 10%.

The Meso Splash Water Tank Riding event will run from July 6 to July 19. It is not available in Reboot or Reboot 2.

This event is made for rich people to show off haha. Basically, every day from 10am to 10pm, a Water Tank Riding will appear in Henesys and Leafre in channel 17.

You can click on it to ride it, but it costs 100m mesos PLUS another 200m mesos that you will splash all over (so a total cost of 300m mesos). One character can ride it up to 3 times per day.

After getting on board the tank, you can move around and rain mesos down periodically to the peasants below. You can also press the Spacebar to rain down a large amount of mesos one time.

Once the entire 200m mesos is shared, the tank will disappear. You cannot get off the tank early. If you disconnect while on the tank, your avatar will continue to drop mesos while you are offline.

Other characters can pick up the meso bags you drop. But note that pets will not pick them up, you have to do it manually!

If you use the Water Tank Riding at least once, you will receive the Meso Fountain Chair! When you sit on it, it will show the total amount of mesos that you have shared with other people using the Water Tank.
