The second patch of the MapleStory Glory update, titled Borderless, has been released! This one contains some changes to levelling up, new Adventurer Link Skills, and new 5th job skills. Here’s the Maple Update Info Centre video for this patch. Glory Growth Reorganization The amount of experience required to level up from 220~234 has been decreased by 25%. If your current experience amount exceeds the new required experience to next level, you will level up as soon as you gain 1 experience or more. In order to allow you to get more Arcane Symbols, new daily quests have been added to Chew Chew Island, City of Dreams Lacheln, and Mysterious Forest Arcana. There are 3 daily quests in each region. They require you to kill 200 monsters or loot 50 items, similar to the other daily quests in Road of Vanishing/Esfera/Morass. You can choose to reroll them randomly if you want. You will receive a total of 4 Arcane Symbols for Chew Chew Island and Lacheln. You will receive a total of 8 Arcane Symbols for Arcana. For every further area of Arcane River you complete, you will have to do one less quest (minimum of 1). The Arcane River Quick Path has been added. You can use the Quick Path to instantly complete Arcane River daily quests and daily content using Maple Points. Each region’s remaining daily quests or daily content will be completed all at once when you press the corresponding button. Based on the number of uncompleted quests or remaining entries of the content, the price will change accordingly. The Arcane River Quick Path costs 500 Maple Points per quest/run. For example, completing all 3 of your daily Spirit Saviour runs will cost 1500MP. Completing 2 of your Road of Vanishing daily quests will cost 1000 MP. You can use the Arcane River Quick Path by talking to Spiegelmann in each Arcane River region. If you complete daily quests or content through the Quick Path, you will not receive progress for any related achievements. New Adventurer Link Skills have been added. There is one for each branch, and you can stack them up to 3 times, using the 3 different classes in each branch. There are 4 different types of missions. Regular missions: missions given to all members regardless of rank (Nineheart) Weekly missions: missions given every week in addition to regular missions (Nineheart, beginning on July 4) Elite missions: missions given in Cernium based on your Glorion rank (Idea, beginning on July 18) Challenge missions: missions given every day which give more rewards as your character grows stronger (Helena, beginning on July 4) Regular Mission: Dimensional Rift The Regular Mission: Dimensional Rift will run from July 4 to July 17. The Dimensional Rift is a mission where you must use the Tracker Pendulum to defeat the Spectre monsters summoned from the Dimensional Rift. You can talk to Nineheart to receive the Tracker Pendulum skill. When in maps with monsters around your level, the skill will be activated automatically and the Pendulum Gauge will appear. While hunting, monsters will have a chance to drop Dimensional Fragments which will fill up the Pendulum Gauge. When the Gauge is full, Dimensional Rifts will summoned and Spectre monsters will appear for 100 seconds. While the Dimensional Rifts are active, if you defeat a certain number of regular monsters and Spectre monsters, the Pendulum Gauge will be reduced by 1 bar and you’ll receive Glory Points. Whenever you kill 50 monsters, you’ll gain additional experience based on the monsters in the map the Dimensional Rifts were summoned in. You’ll receive more Glory Points and experience the more you reduce the Pendulum Gauge. When the Pendulum Gauge is fully cleared or the time limit ends, the Dimensional Rifts will disappear and the Pendulum Gauge will be reset. All summoned Spectre monsters will also disappear. If you hit your daily Glory Points limit while the Dimensional Rifts are active, you can continue to use its experience benefits but you will not gain any Glory Points. After the skill ends, the Tracker Pendulum skill will be disabled and the Pendulum Gauge will no longer appear. Regular Mission: Unstable Border The Regular Mission: Unstable Border will run from July 4 to July 17. The Unstable Boundary is a mission where you must fly a ship and defeat Unstable Energy monsters in the Unstable Border. You can talk to Nineheart in the Outpost or use the Glory alert icon on the left side of your screen to participate. Talk to Checky to begin the mission. When the mission starts, you will enter the battlefield in a ship. You can move around with the arrow keys and fire your Energy Beams by using the Z or X keys. You will earn points by matching your Energy Beams to the colours of the scrambled monsters. You will also lose points if you hit monsters with the opposite coloured beam. As you hit the monsters, you’ll charge your Fever Gauge. When its full, you’ll enter Fever Time, where your energy beam becomes much stronger, faster, and can hit both colours. Sometimes, powerful energy will appear which give more points when hit. The mission will end when you reach 5000 points or when the time limit of 5 minutes ends. When it ends, you’ll receive Glory Points based on your points. If you leave the mission early, you will not gain any Glory Points. Your cumulative number of points will affect your ship’s rank, which can be increased up to 4 times. As your ship’s rank increases, its movement speed and attacking skills’ effects are enhanced. You can participate in this mission until you have earned 15,000 points per day. This limit is different than your daily Glory Points limit, so you can continue to play if you have already reached your maximum Glory Points per day but still have not hit your maximum mission points per day. Challenge Mission: Magic Golem Training Centre The Challenge Mission: Magic Golem Training Centre will run from July 4 to August 7. The Magic Golem Training Centre is a place where Glorion members can demonstrate their strength through training and receive Glorium. You can talk to Helena in the Outpost or use the Glory alert icon on the left side of your screen to participate. When you enter the training centre, 1 Magic Golem boss and 10 Mini Magic Golems will be summoned. When you defeat all the summoned monsters, the stage will be cleared and the same number of golems will be summoned again. There are a total of 10 stages, and the higher the stage, the more powerful the golems will be. You will have 2 minutes inside the Magic Golem Training Centre to defeat as many golems as you can. You will earn points based on the amount of damage you do to them, and you can collect up to 1200 points. When the time limit ends or you reach 1200 points, you will receive 1 Glorium for every 10 points you earned. This reward can only be acquired once per day per world. The Glorium you receive will not count towards your daily limit of Glory Points. Weekly Mission: Strange Phenomenon Investigation The Weekly Mission: Strange Phenomenon Investigation will run from July 4 to August 28. The Strange Phenomenon Investigation is a mission where you must investigate and destroy the dimensional cracks that are appearing in Maple World and Grandis. Dimensional cracks will appear randomly in Maple World and Grandis. You can check their locations through Nineheart in the Outpost or use the Glory alert icon on the left side of your screen. If you go to the location of a Dimensional Crack, you can enter the portal to go inside it. There, you must defeat all of the monsters to make the Crack disappear and complete your weekly mission. Every time you complete a weekly mission, you’ll get 20 Glorium and a certain amount of experience. The Glorium you receive will not count towards your daily limit of Glory Points The weekly mission can be completed up to 30 times per world per week, resetting on Thursdays at 10am. When you accept a weekly mission, there is a low chance of the Dimensional Crack appearing in a dangerous area, which will give 5x the rewards.
