Reckless Sage, Ho Young Ho Young, a member of the Anima race in Grandis, is a thief who learned special magic in a temple in the mountains. While Grandis was overcome with confusion, Ho Young unlocked the ancient seal and left the boring temple to explore the world. Ho Young can use 3 different attributes of skills and collect power to unleash Charm skills and Scroll skills. He can create many clones to fight with him. Information Ho Young uses a new type of weapon called the Hand Fan. It is a one-handed weapon. His secondary weapon is the Fan Weight. Ho Young’s Maple Union effect is 10/20/40/80/100 LUK. Ho Young’s playstyle involves using skills with different attributes as well as two special resources. First, he can use Human, Earth, and Heaven attribute skills. These will light up the three orbs around the UI above. Generally, earth skills require you to be on the ground, heaven skills require you to be in the air (or they will automatically make you jump into the air) and human skills can be used whenever. When you use the 3 different attribute skills and fill up the orbs, you’ll charge Charm Power, which is the circle in the middle. You can consume Charm Power to cast Charm Skills, which are special buffs or attacks. When you use Charm Skills, you’ll charge Scroll Power, which is the semi-circular bar around the Charm Power circle. You can consume Scroll Power to cast Scroll Skills, which are usually summons. Story When Ho Young opened the seal, he accidentally released monsters into Maple World. Along with Docheol, the seal guardian, he must find and reseal the monsters he let out. Ho Young comes from a new planet in Grandis called Blue Cloud Valley. The world map says Cheongungol but 청 = blue, 운 = cloud, 골 = 골까지 = valley. Skills Before I begin the translations, I’m gonna say this: since this class was designed with Korean imagery and stories in mind, a lot of their skill names use traditional Korean words which are very tough to translate well to English, especially for myself as I don’t know Hanja.
