The first patch of the MapleStory AWAKE update has been released! This one contains various quality of life improvements from the Spring! Spring! Project initiative as well as the summer’s AWAKE events. The next patch will be on July 23, including the new 4th V skills as a new episode for Dimensional Library! In Maple Auction, Scroll Traces can now only be bought or sold in increments of 1000. An additional potential filter has been added to the armor and weapon search options. A job filter has been added to the armor search options. In the item search list, the item information window at the bottom of the screen has been removed and the number of items displayed on the list has been increased. In the level range search drop box menu, ‘0’, ‘160’, and ‘200’ have been added. The number input area’s click range has been increased. When you register an item for sale, the item will be searchable after a 5 minute grace period. In the Sale tab, when you choose an item to sell, the tooltip will now be shown when you mouse over it. When an item is sold, the notification at the top of your screen will now show the sold item’s name and number. The equipment type “Glove” has been changed to ‘장갑’ to match the equipment tooltip. The Union placement mode has been improved. Clicking on a character card will cause the placed block to be activated. A confirmation button has been added to the block edit menu. When you click the button, the block will be deselected and placed on the board. On the block edit menu, a Raid Removal button has been added. A Raid Placement Reset button has been added. When you click it, all placed blocks will be removed. A new Decoration inventory has been added. The Decoration inventory has 128 slots and all Cash equipment items have been moved from the equipment inventory to here. The spacing between inventory items has been adjusted to be wider. When you mouse over an Android item, the tooltip will now show the Android’s appearance. If you enter Nexon OTP or U-OTP, characters in deletion standby time can be instantly deleted. In Hungry Muto and Spirit Savior content, the response time has been improved for more comfortable gameplay. When you are registering your guild black list or requesting an alliance invite, the process has been improved so that you can confirm and select the guild. The Toad’s Hammer UI will now have a separate icon which is displayed for items you are currently wearing. Improvement and Bug Fixes (Skills) Overall skill logic has been improved to help alleviate the error where an entered skill would not activate due to things such as potion use, pet auto buff and auto feed, or skill activations that do not affect character actions. Fixed an issue where other characters could see skill effects that they shouldn’t have. Fixed an issue where certain skill effects continued to appear and didn’t disappear. Ultimate Adventurers’ summon skills’ durations will now be shown on the buff window. Debuff effects on you from monster patterns will no longer be affected by skill effect transparency. Fixed an issue with the Genesis weapon skill Demiurge of Destruction where the buff window icon showed an incorrect reactivation cooldown. Paladin’s Holy Unity and the effect on the bonded party member will now use their own skill effect transparency options. Dark Knight’s Hyper Body will now only affect yourself. Adventurer magicians’ Infinity’s skill description has been updated to match the current logic of healing base HP and MP every few seconds. Fixed an issue where if Bishop was transformed while using Big Bang, the effect would appear incorrectly. Fixed an issue where if Bishop received Combat Orders while Resurrection was on cooldown, the cooldown would appear to be reset. Bishop can now use Erda Nova while Vengeance of Angel is active. Fixed an issue where Dual Blade’s Self Haste and speed increasing potions didn’t stack. Fixed an issue where Dual Blade could not use Final Cut immediately after using Flying Assaulter. Viper’s Nautilus’ skill description has been updated to match the current logic of the additional attack while it is on cooldown and Serpent Screw not charging Energy. Fixed an issue where Cannon Shooter’s monkey was invisible sometimes. Cannon Shooter’s Monkey Wave’s skill description has been updated to match the current logic of the buff not being affected by buff duration increasing effects. Fixed an issue where Soul Endure’s effect appeared incorrectly based on Mikhail’s own skill effect transparency. Fixed an issue where Soul Master’s Solar Pierce and Crescent Divide’s cast delay was increased while wearing a one-handed sword. Fixed an issue where after Soul Master used Elysion, Cross the Styx’s attack range was smaller than the range when Elysion is not active. Fixed an issue where Soul Master’s Cross the Styx after using Elysion did not activate Aura Weapon’s wave. Fixed an issue where Soul Master’s Falling Moon effect applied to Soul Eclipse’s activated Soluna Divide. While Flame Wizard is using Flame Discharge, they can no longer resummon a Spirit of Flame personification. Fixed an issue where Striker’s God of the Sea dealt damage to enemies using Damage Reflect. Evan’s Circle of Wind, Circle of Thunder, and Circle of Earth’s cast delays have been decreased and their ranges have been increased to improve usability. Circle of Wind‘s number of hits has been increased from 2 to 5, damage has been decreased from 270% to 108%, cast delay has been decreased by 15%. Circle of Thunder‘s attack range has been increased by 60%, cast delay has been decreased by 13%. Dragon Dive‘s damage boost to Circle of Wind has been decreased from 150%p to 62%p. Circle of Earth‘s damage has been decreased from 370% to 320%, cast delay has been decreased by 26%. Dragon Breath‘s damage boost to Circle of Wind has been decreased from 660%p to 212%p, damage boost to Circle of Earth has been decreased from 180%p to 150%p. Fixed an issue where if Evan used a Rune of Giants during a Mir skill, they could not use the up jump. Fixed an issue where Mercedes could not use Decent skills from item potential while riding Sylphidia. Fixed an issue where if Phantom registered a stolen skill on 2 hotkeys, the switch cooldown did not apply. Fixed an issue where Phantom could not use stolen Hurricane after using the Rune of Transference. Fixed an issue where if Phantom used Dark Sight immediately after using Mark of Phantom, Dark Sight would be cancelled. Fixed an issue where after Eunwol used Spirit Bond Maximum, if they changed maps or channels, the skill ending effect sound would play. Demon Avenger’s Demon Frenzy will now continue to create demon blood even if your current HP is lower than 1% of your maximum HP. Fixed an issue where Demon Avenger could not acquire some items while charging Blood Feast. Fixed an issue where Blaster’s Revolving Cannon sound effect was considered a regular sound efect instead of a skill sound effect. Blaster’s Hurricane Mixer’s pull range has been increased by 80%. Fixed an issue where Battlemage’s Drain Aura did not apply to party members. Fixed an issue where Battlemage’s Blue Aura – Dispel Magic applied only once after being cast. Fixed an issue where Battlemage’s Blue Aura’s damage reduction applied only to yourself. When Wild Hunter uses Hunter’s Call to summon a monster on top of Dusk’s tentacles, when the tentacles disappear the monster will disappear as well. Fixed an issue where Xenon could use Mega Smasher while transformed. Fixed an issue where if Mechanic used Jet Booster while jumping down, the booster would never recover after landing. Mechanic’s Massive Fire: SPLASH’s MP cost has been decreased from 35 MP to 20 MP. Fixed an issue where you would only enter the in combat state if the first attack hit an enemy. Fixed an issue where if you used the basic attack in Metal Armor: Tank after using War Machine: Titan, the skill would be cancelled. Fixed an issue where if Kaiser used Blue Streak in the left direction, they would be facing the right direction after the skill ended. Fixed an issue where if Cadena used Chain Arts: Chase on the ground in Will phase 1, the screen would move up and down. Angelic Buster’s Soul Seeker Expert’s skill description has been updated to match the current logic of summon skills not activating it. Fixed an issue where after Zero tagged, the waiting character would appear to not be recovering TF. Fixed an issue where if Zero did not have sufficient TF and a pet tried to use Rhinne’s Blessing, the not enough MP message would appear. Fixed an issue where Adele’s Resonance, Order, Gathering, and Blossom did not deal damage to Urus. Fixed an issue where Adele could not use Dike in Magnus if she was slowed. Fixed an issue where Illium’s Crystal and Soul of Crystal would activate Reaction skills only 1 time if they were in the same location. Fixed an issue where Ark’s Returning Hatred’s cooldown would apply to every attack. Fixed an issue where Hoyoung could use Sage Teachings: Advent of the Superpowered Gods then use Advent of the Gods on a rope. Improvements and Bug Fixes (Boss Monsters) Fixed an issue in Chaos Pink Bean where certain background images were cut off. In Suu phase 2 and 3, the energy orbs will now deal damage more accurately. Fixed an issue where after clearing a certain phase in Lucid, if you left the party, you could not exit correctly. Fixed an issue where Will (Story Mode)’s name did not appear on the HP gauge. Improvements and Bug Fixes (Quests and Maps) The Adventurer classes’ character creation window illustration has been changed. In FriendStory chapter 5’s OX quix map, the usage of skills other than movement skills is now restricted. Fixed an issue in the Orbis Tower Entrance map where the character would get stuck on the right wing of the statue. Fixed an issue in Golden Temple Guardian’s Room 1 where Monster Life monsters would be summoned under the floor. Fixed an issue in Ereb Alliance Conference Hall where the character’s name would be obscured on the floor. Fixed an issue in Omega Sector story quests where your buddy’s location would appear as null. Fixed an issue in Ghost Park Ranking Mode where Beta could use Shadow Flash. Fixed an issue in Xerxes of Chryse party quest’s map where you could move past a path that required you to crawl in certain situations. Fixed an issue in certain content where you have to escort NPCs where the NPCs would stop moving if the party leader exited the game while the NPC was on a rope. Fixed an issue during Angelic Buster’s tutorial cutscenes where the stat window would appear. Fixed an issue where if you entered Von Leon through the boss queue without starting the preceding quests, you would be stuck in the exit room. Fixed an issue where if you accepted a quest that gave you an item but your etc inventory was full, the dialog would not end with a warning message to empty your inventory. Fixed an issue during the Zero tutorial where the dialog UI would appear awkwardly. Fixed an issue where if you reconnected while doing a Sudden Mission, the Sudden Mission UI would disappear. The Mutated Ribbon Pig monster’s consecutive number of attacks has been decreased. Fixed an issue where you could accept the Root Abyss: Old Tree Key quest while your etc inventory was full. Certain terrain in The SEED 8F and 21F will be corrected. Fixed an issue in Fox Tree Mid Path 1, 2, and 3 where if you used a downwards teleport on the bottom, you would not move normally. Certain ropes in That Day in Trueffet 2 and 3 have been made longer. Improvements and Bug Fixes (Items) The Buff Freezer usage confirmation window will no longer close if you press the Esc key. Fixed an issue where Zakum’s Stone Fist Gloves’ images did not appear during certain actions. The images of certain Cash items have been adjusted. The name of each Bingsu hair colour has been changed to [colour name + Bingsu hair]. Fixed a typo with the Blue Alicia Hair name. Arcane Symbol tooltips will no longer show the attack range increase. Fixed an issue where T-Boy’s Monitor’s eyes did not appear in shops. The Onyx Ring description that stated it summoned the ‘샐러맨더 오닉스’ has been changed to ‘샐리맨더 오닉스’. Fixed an issue where if you used another chair while sitting on the Owner of 17 Billion Mesos Chair, sometimes your body would disappear. Fixed an issue where the Crawling Riding would cause akward actions if hit by a monster attack. Fixed an issue where the client would exit when the Custom Mix Dye Coupon was used. Improvements and Bug Fixes (Etc) To provide stable service, character creation in Scania and Luna has been restricted if you do not already have a character in those worlds. Fixed an issue where you could follow other characters while opening a minigame room. Fixed an issue where guide text was not shown while using Capture Mode. Fixed an issue where the Sudden Mission alert count colour was displayed incorrectly. Fixed an issue where if you had insufficient materials when making things for Mu Lung’s potion creator, you would be guided to other materials. Fixed an issue where Hoyoung’s ears and tail did not appear when crafting for professions. Certain reward claiming reminders that appear when you log out have been changed to not appear again if you log out without claiming them. MVP Rewards Union Coins Dea’s G-Potions Mu Lung Dojo Settlement Points The Green PC only item lock feature has been improved when used on equipped items. Zero’s Lapis and Lazuli can be locked in the same way. Fixed an issue where if you exited the game, the Red PC trade restrictions icon would appear temporarily. Fixed an issue where the trying to transfer items that had Seal Locks used on them had awkward guide information. In the Item Pot help information, the guide has been changed to access the content only through hotkeys instead of through the inventory button. The Green PC only item lock feature has been improved so when you click the button, items that can have the feature used on it will be displayed separately. Fixed an issue where your Combo Kills would be reset when an Elite Boss appeared. Fixed an issue where the “Riena Strait – Lost Nora” achievement could not be completed. In Monster Life, if you have the maximum Waru amount of 9,999,999, you will not be able to harvest more. Fixed an issue where the Monster Collection medal’s claim information was not shared. Fixed an issue where the “Modified Future City” achievement could not be completed. When you use a Monster Life Farm Reset Scroll, the farm’s season information will be reset as well. Fixed an error where the Dark Wolf did not appear on certain terrain. The Rune of Thunder’s attack will no longer be activated if you do not have a weapon equipped. Fixed an issue where if you had 2 one-of-a-kind items in your storage and found them both at the same time, you could have 2 in your inventory. Fixed an issue where the Maple Guide rewards information was incorrect for Reboot. You can now enter Dream Breaker from Lacheln. After exiting cross world party quests, your titles will now be re-equipped. Fixed an issue where in Reboot, Octopus would drop other classes’ equipment. The Legendary Hunter Medal challenge can no longer be started while the records are being reset at the beginning of the month. The “Dunkel: Let’s Take Him Down!” achievement has been changed. Instead of requiring a party of 4 or more adventure classes only, it now requires defeating Normal Dunkel in a party of 4 or more. When an Arcane Symbol reaches the maximum level, the growth value will now display MAX. If Flag Race has already begun while you are in the waiting map, you will receive a message that you cannot enter. Fixed an issue on The SEED 39F where one of the quiz’s correct answers was a boss that did not appear in MapleStory. Fixed an issue where in the Maple Guide, the Cursed Kaiserium was shown repeatedly in the Hard Magnus rewards. The Guild BBS scrolling error has been fixed. Fixed an error where if the Rune of Treasure was at the bottom of the map, the treasure would fall below the ground and the items would not be acquirable. Today’s Guild Attendance Check list has been changed to be sorted by character name. Fixed an issue in 1:1 Cash item trade where if you entered the wrong 2nd password, there would be no information message. Fixed an issue in 1:1 Cash item trades where certain trades would fail abnormally. Fixed an issue with the Custom Mix Dye Coupon where certain results would cause the character’s hair image to appear translucent. Fixed an issue where you could not search Luna Crystal in the Maple Auction’s category search window. Fixed an issue where Mechanic equipment and Dragon equipment did not show damage range increases. Fixed an issue where certain ridings had awkward character locations when riding them. Fixed an issue where riding the Firecracker Riding would cause the Show Character Information range to be awkward. Fixed an issue where in Zero’s equipment window, slots with unisex equipment and gender restricted equipment could be swapped. Fixed an issue where in certain situations, you could use items after their expiration dates passed. Fixed an issue where in certain situations, expired items’ icons appeared awkwardly. You can no longer use Nearest Town Scrolls in Temple of Time or the Broken Corridor. Fixed an issue where if you used the sort function in the guild member list, the arrows would appear incorrectly. The first is June 25 to August 5 and the second is August 6 to September 16. When you create a new character during this event, you can choose to make them a Tera Burning character! Note that you can only do this once per Maple ID per season of the event. This means you can create two Tera Burning characters in total, one during each season. Characters can only become Tera Burning characters when they are created. You cannot change your Tera Burning character but if you delete it, you can make another one. The main benefit of a Tera Burning character is the ability to gain two extra levels per level up. This effect will take place until level 200! When your Tera Burning character is created, it will receive a Snail pet lasts for 30 days. It comes with meso loot, item loot, auto loot, and auto HP/MP. You cannot use the Water of Life on it. At level 30, you’ll receive the Level 30 Equipment Box which is self-explanatory. At level 100, you’ll receive the Legendary Secret Box which when opened will reward you with 8 Mastery Boxes and a full Black set. At level 150, you’ll receive the Expiring Root Abyss Set Box which when opened will reward you with a full level 150 Root Abyss set. These items will have Epic potential and 12 stars, but will expire in 90 days. At level 200, you’ll receive the Eternal Flame title which gives 15 all stats, 15 attack/magic attack, 10% boss damage, 10% defense ignore, 750 HP/MP, 10% bonus experience and 30 Arcane Force. The title can only be used after completing the 5th job advancement and its stats will expire in 30 days. Finally, reaching level 200/205/210 will reward you with extra items. These rewards can only be claimed once per Maple ID per season of the event. Level 200: 20 Core Gemstones Level 205: 20 Core Gemstones, 2 Experience Core Gemstones Level 210: 50 Core Gemstones, 3 Experience Core Gemstones AWAKE Burning World Burning and Burning 2 will be open from June 25 to September 3. From September 3 to September 16, you will be able to World Leap your characters from this world to other worlds. Burning World is a time-limited special world which gives various benefits for rapid growth. All characters in Burning World will receive the special Burning skill while they are in the world, which gives: 1.5x experience 50 attack/magic attack 30% damage to regular monsters 30% damage to boss monsters 30% critical rate 30% critical damage In Burning World, you can create up to 2 Mega Burning characters, who will have the following benefits: +2 levels for each level up, up to level 130 Snail pet (30 days) Level 30 Equipment Box Legendary Secret Box Black Hat Black Cape Black Suit Black Weapon Box Black Secondary Weapon Box 8 Mastery Boxes Keep on Burning title BURNING medal 10th Anniversary White Armor Set Box Teleport World Map (30 days) Equip/Use/Etc./Set-up inventories expanded to 56 slots In Burning World, if you have a level 100 or higher character, you can also create a Zero! However, you cannot burn a Zero. Also in Burning World, you will receive the following rewards when you reach certain levels. These can only be claimed once per Maple ID. Level 130: 5 2x Experience Coupons (1 Hour), 1000 Power Elixirs Level 160: Aquatic Letter Eye Accessory, Condensed Power Crystal, Silver Blossom Ring, Dea Sidus Earrings, Golden Clover Belt Level 200: Experience Coupon Box (gives 2 2x Experience Coupons (1 Hour) when used, can be used only once per day, can be used a total of 15 times) Level 220: Choice between an Absolabs Weapon Box (17 star unique Absolabs weapon) or Dominator Pendant Box (15 star unique Dominator Pendant) After September 3, you will no longer be able to train your characters in Burning World. Instead, you’ll be able to World Leap up to 5 characters (at least level 130) to any other world (except Reboot/Reboot 2). Note: You cannot use the World Leap if your character is holding any items from the Time of Awakening event that can be moved to other characters in the same world or Character Slot Expansion Coupons in your inventory. If you haven’t moved your characters by September 16, they will be deleted along with their items and Cash items. In Burning World, you cannot purchase the following items from the Cash Shop: Character Slot Expansion Coupon 4/8 Slot Storage Expansion Coupon House Wedding Ticket The following features are not available in Burning World: Meso Market Transferring Link Skills Maple Union Monster Collection AWAKE World Leap The AWAKE World Leap event will run from June 25 to July 9. This event lets you move your characters to a new world! However, there are many restrictions. You can only move to/from certain worlds. Reboot/Reboot 2 cannot move to other worlds. You cannot move to Scania, Luna, Elysium, Reboot, or Reboot 2. You can only move to/from worlds that you chose for your first world leap. You do not require empty character slots in the world you are moving to. However, if you have more than 46 characters, you will need to delete characters before you can create any more. Your Cash Wardrobe and storage will not be moved over. Before you use World Leap, move the items to your inventory. There is no limit on how many characters you can move. You cannot cancel a movement after it has been confirmed, so choose carefully! Note: The AWAKE World Leap event period can be changed and leaping to cetain worlds may be closed early. Awakening Time: Awakening Scrolls The Awakening Scrolls event will run from June 25 to September 2. It is available to characters level 101 or higher. Train with the Panda Sages’ Awakening Scrolls to experience a different dimension of growth! When you begin the quest, you will receive the Awakening Scrolls and begin your training. You can acquire Awakening Energy through various training methods. When you collect 100 Awakening Energy, it will automatically be turned into 1 Awakening Coin. You can acquire up to 30,000 Awakening Energy per day. There are a total of 3 levels of Awakening Scrolls, each with their own chapters. You can talk to Mugong or use the event icon on the side of your screen to check the status of your training. Baekgong’s Scroll – Introduction/Ch.1/Ch.2/Ch.3 Chungong’s Scroll – Introduction/Ch.1/Ch.2/Ch.3 Mangong’s Scroll – Introduction/Ending You can train your Awakening Scroll level by paying 200 Awakening Coins, once per day per world. Every time you do this, you will receive 1 Bamboo Shoot from Mugong, which you can use in Mr. Do’s shop. When you achieve the required amount of training for each scroll, you will complete your current chapter and move to the next one. You will also receive the reward that was sealed in the scroll for that chapter. Baekgong’s Scroll Introduction (requires training 1 time, unlocked on June 25): Fresh Training Outfit Set Ch.1 (requires training 5 times, unlocked on July 2): Awakening Mountain Growth Potion 1 Ch.2 (requires training 5 times, unlocked on July 9): Awakening Mountain Growth Potion 2 Ch.3 (requires training 5 times, unlocked on July 16): Awakening Mountain Growth Potion 3 Chungong’s Scroll Introduction (requires training 5 times, unlocked on July 23): Awake Ring Voucher Ch.1 (requires training 5 times, unlocked on July 30): Awake Ring Only Enhancement Scroll Ch.2 (requires training 5 times, unlocked on August 6): Awake Ring Only Enhancement Scroll Ch.3 (requires training 5 times, unlocked on August 13): Awake Ring Only Enhancement Scroll Mangong’s Scroll Introduction (requires training 5 times, unlocked on August 20): Awakening Mountain Growth Potion 4 Ending (requires training 5 times, unlocked on August 27): Karma 17 Star Force Enhancement Scroll The Growth Potions give 1 level up for different level ranges (200-209, 200-219, 200-229, and 200-239). If you use them on a character higher than their range, you will just get a large amount of experience. The Awake Ring can only be scrolled using its special scrolls. Reboot will receive vouchers for each level of the ring instead. When it is fully scrolled, it gives 40 all stats, 4000 HP/MP, and 25 attack/magic attack. The Karma 17 Star Force Enhancement Scroll can only be used on untradeable equipment level 160 or lower. After completing the Introduction chapter of each scroll, another Panda Elder will awaken and allow you to visit a new shop. If you complete all 3 scrolls, you’ll receive The One who has Reached Awakening title, which gives 20 attack/magic attack, 50 all stats, 30% boss damage, 30% defense ignore, and 2500 HP/MP. AWAKE Sage’s Treasure: Baekgong’s Flute The Sage’s Treasure: Baekgong’s Flute event will run from June 25 to July 22. You can talk to Sogong in Mu Lung Dojo Awakening Mountain or through the event icon to receive the Baekgong’s Flute skill. It is a mysterious flute filled with fresh energy that you can use to acquire Awakening Coins. When you enter a map with monsters around your level, the skill will automatically activate and the Flute Gauge will appear. When you kill monsters around your level, you’ll have a chance to acquire Sound Energy. When you acquire Sound Energy, you’ll also receive 100 Awakening Energy. After acquiring 10 Sound Energy, the flute will begin playing. For 30 seconds, you have a 100% chance to acquire Sound Energy (up to 10 times). After completing the training for Baekgong’s Scroll – Ch.2, the Baekgong’s Flute skill will be upgraded to level 2. You can then acquire up to 15 Sound Energy when the flute is playing. If you leave the map while the flute is playing, it will be cancelled. If you reach your daily limit of Awakening Coins, the Baekgong’s Flute skill will be deactivated. AWAKE Sage Stone Training Centre The AWAKE Sage Stone Training Centre will be open from June 25 to September 2. The Sage Stone Training Centre is a place where the legendary Sages trained.
