    There’s a new test server patch, it doesn’t have a lot actually, just a little ranking minigame that somehow is what the next patch is named after, a new theme dungeon, and some job balancing.


    Overview

    • Maple Squad: Immortal Gorgons
      • The first adventure you can challenge with your characters! Assemble the strongest squad and defeat the Immortal Gorgons!

    Although this is actually an event, I’ll cover it because it’s basically the only content and the entire patch is named Squad after this.

    Maple Squad is a team of your characters in the same world. Your Squad members will join forces to battle. You can freely change your Squad according to the specific challenges you will face.

    When the challenge begins, you can use the Swap System to freely switch between the characters in your Squad to directly control them. Squad members who are not being controlled will find and battle monsters automatically.

    • Participation Requirements: Level 140 or higher characters who have completed the 4th job advancement/level 140 or higher Zero characters who have completed Chapter 2
    • Participation Duration: February 28, 2019 ~ March 27, 2019
    • Participation Method:
      • Complete the [Maple Squad] Immortal Gorgons quest
      • Use the [Maple Squad] Immortal Gorgons Entry and Information quest to enter the Squad Queue
      • To acquire daily rewards, you must have completed the Adventure Island intial quest

    In Maple Squad: Immortal Gorgons, you can talk to the NPC Sfidante in the waiting room to organize your Squad, from 2~5 people. You can then challenge the Immortal Gorgons who protect the ancient temple. The Immortal Gorgons are Stheno, Euryale, and Medusa. They will appear in a random order at set times.

    You can play each Squad member for up to 2 minutes. Once every Squad member has been played, the challenge will end. When it’s over, you will receive a score based on the total damage you dealt.

    You will receive daily rewards based on the time you spent inside the challenge. You can also receive weekly rewards and final ranking rewards based on your rankings. Your ranking will be shared between all characters in the same world.

    You can only register characters that are level 140 or higher who have completed the 4th job advancement as Squad members. The same job cannot be registered multiple times.

    After the event ends, there will be a ranking based on the top scores players have achieved during the event. They will be given out from April 4 to April 11. You must have participated in Immortal Gorgons for 30 minutes or more for all 4 weeks.

    Job Balancing Adjustments


    The goal of these balancing adjustments is to help relieve some of the frustrations for classes with disadvantages in hunting. As a result, we have lowered the power of certain jobs and skills while increasing the main hunting skills’ attack ranges and reducing their action delays. After these adjustments, we will investigate if further fundamental improvements can be made.

    All Classes

    We fixed an error where certain skills would perform differently if you consumed items while using linked skills.

    • Linked skills: Fixed an error where you could cancel a skill’s action if you used an item that could not be used while linking skills.
    • Additional attack skills: fixed an error in Erda Spectrum where this would attack Erda Juniors from extracted Erda

    Pirates

    • [​IMG] Loaded Dice: fixed an error in Urus where additional dice would appear when using Lucky Dice

    Hero

    We have removed the underutilized feature of Shout and enhanced Panic to lower their complexity.

    • [​IMG] Panic: blind rate has been increased from 90% to 100%, attack range has been increased by 150% of its original range
    • [​IMG] Shout: feature where you could use this skill with the down arrow key to activate Shout differently has been removed

    Adventurer Magicians

    Infinity’s efficiency was greatly increased by resetting its cooldown so it can no longer have its cooldown reset.

    • [​IMG] MP Boost: critical rate boost while wearing a Wand has been increased from 3% to 5%
    • [​IMG] Infinity: this skill is no longer affected by cooldown resets

    Archmage (F/P)

    • [​IMG] DoT Punisher: cooldown has been decreased from 30 seconds to 25 seconds
    • [​IMG] Poison Nova: cooldown has been decreased from 30 seconds to 25 seconds

    Archmage (I/L)

    • [​IMG] Chain Lightning – Reinforce: damage boost has been increased from 10% to 20%
    • [​IMG] Frozen Orb – Reinforce: fixed an error where the skill icon was switched with Frozen Orb – Extra Target

    Bishop

    Holy Symbol is a very useful party buff but it is subject to a lot of exploitation through macros. We have tried to maintain its identity as a party buff while reducing the chance of it being exploited by tying its effects to the caster.

    • [​IMG] Mystic Door: fixed an error where the portal effect would sometimes not appear
    • [​IMG] Holy Symbol: if a character who received Holy Symbol moves a certain distance away from the Bishop who cast it, the amount of additional experience will be reduced to half, if you return to the caster the buff will return to its full efficiency, you can see its current status through the buff icon and a system message
    • [​IMG] Holy Symbol – Imbue Body: this effect will not apply if the party member moves a certain distance away from the Bishop
    • [​IMG] Holy Symbol – Extra Drop: this effect will not apply if the party member moves a certain distance away from the Bishop

    Adventurer Archers

    Bowmaster

    • [​IMG] Quiver Full Burst: cooldown has been decreased from 150 seconds to 120 seconds

    Pathfinder

    Pathfinder’s damage is much higher than its difficulty rate. We would like to keep their existing battle patterns but reduce their strength while making their unused skills a more viable option.

    • [​IMG] Cardinal Discharge: effect where additional arrows are fired if used within range of a boss monster has been removed, you must now learn Cardinal Discharge Enhancement to apply that effect
    • [​IMG] Cardinal Blast: effect where final damage is increased based on every monster not hit has been removed, you must now learn Cardinal Blast Enhancement to apply that effect, fixed an error where the Ability/Monster Life effect of increasing the maximum number of monsters hit would decrease this skill’s damage
    • [​IMG] Ancient Guidance: final damage boost when the Relic Gauge is charged up has been decreased from 30% to 15%, HP and MP recovered has been decreased from 50% to 20%
    • [​IMG] Ancient Archery: Split Mistel’s final arrow’s damage boost has been increased from 200% to 350%, additional magic arrow’s damage boost has been increased from 100% to 200%
    • [​IMG] Ancient Bow Expert: critical damage has been increased from 8% to 10%
    • [​IMG] Relic Evolution: cooldown has been increased from 90 seconds to 120 seconds
    • [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG] Ancient Astra: unenhanced and Discharge enhanced skill’s maximum number of monsters hit has been decreased from 10 to 7, Transition enhanced skill’s maximum number of monsters hit has been decreased from 10 to 4, damage has been decreased from 500% to 450%
    • [​IMG] Ultimate Blast: fixed an error where using buffs while using this skill would cause the damage to not apply
    • [​IMG] Obsidian Barrier: installed shield’s duration will now be shown in the buff window

    Adventurer Thieves

    • [​IMG] Sudden Raid: fixed an error where the screen darkening effect would not appear normally if used when the screen was zoomed out like in Urus

    Night Lord

    • [​IMG] Spread Throw: Triple Throw’s final damage reduction has been removed, Quadruple Throw’s final damage reduction has been decreased from 30% to 15%

    Shadower

    • [​IMG] Smokescreen: critical damage boost to enemies inside the smokescreen will now apply to bosses
    • [​IMG] Veil of Shadows: fixed an error where you could use this skill while climbing rock walls

    Dual Blade

    Karma Fury will be enhanced to match other 5th job skills’ power.

    • [​IMG] Karma Fury: this skill has been changed to activate 3 times in a row, however Hidden Blade’s additional attack will only be activated once

    Soul Master

    We have reduced the main hunting skill’s action delay to help relieve the stiffness of hunting.

    • [​IMG] Solar Pierce/Crescent Divide: cast action delay has been decreased by 15% of its original delay
    • [​IMG] Sword Expert: critical damage boost has been increased from 8% to 15%

    Flame Wizard

    • [​IMG] Innate Talent: critical rate boost while wearing a Wand has been increased from 3% to 5%
    • [​IMG] Born Phoenix: if you die with Heaven’s Door, this skill will no longer activate and you will consume Heaven’s Door first
    • [​IMG] Orbital Flame IV: damage boost to regular monsters has been increased from 10% to 15%
    • [​IMG] Infinity Flame Circle: you will now prepare Phoenix Feathers even while dead

    Wind Breaker

    Wind Breaker’s concept makes it difficult to change their buffs to passives. We have greatly reduced the action delay of certain skills to make buffing less frustrating and have fixed an error for Howling Gale that made it less powerful than it should have been.

    • [​IMG] Wind Walk: fixed an error where you would not be moved if you used this skill right before landing on a platform after jumping
    • [​IMG] Sylph’s Aid: cast action delay has been decreased by 55% of its original delay
    • [​IMG] Albatross: cast action delay has been decreased by 80% of its original delay
    • [​IMG] Howling Gale: fixed an error where the number of hits was lower than intended

    Night Walker

    • [​IMG] Shadow Jump: final damage boost to skills used while jumping has been increased from 10% to 15%
    • [​IMG] Darkness Ascension: if you die with Heaven’s Door, this skill will no longer activate and you will consume Heaven’s Door first
    • [​IMG] Shadow Spear: fixed an error where continuing to attack in a certain area would cause a lower number of Shadow Spears to be created

    Aran

    The concept of Maha’s Domain and Install Maha being linked skills made it frustrating when you couldn’t see Maha’s Domain’s duration and the two skills’ action delays were high. We have changed them and have improved Brandish Maha to match other 5th job skills’ power.

    • [​IMG] Maha’s Domain: cast action delay has been decreased, duration will now be shown in the buff window
    • [​IMG] Install Maha: cast action delay has been decreased
    • [​IMG] Brandish Maha: this skill has been changed to activate 2 times in a row, however Swing Research’s additional attack will only be activated once, if used without Commands the extra damage to boss monsters will not apply, fixed an error where the skill voice did not play

    Evan

    • [​IMG] Spell Mastery: critical rate boost while wearing a Wand has been increased from 3% to 5%

    Phantom

    • [​IMG] Talent of Phantom Thief II: fixed an error where Enhancement Cores did not apply to Pathfinder’s Cardinal Blast, when you steal Heal the cooldown time will be shown in the skill tooltip
    • [​IMG] Coat of Arms: damage has been increased from 250% to 320%, attack range has been increased by 24% of its original range
    • [​IMG] Luck of Phantom Thief: if you die with Heaven’s Door, this skill will no longer activate and you will consume Heaven’s Door first
    • [​IMG] Talent of Phantom Thief III: fixed an error where Pathfinder’s Curse Tolerance’s additional effect when inflicted with statuses did not apply
    • [​IMG] Rose Carte Finale: cooldown has been decreased from 65 seconds to 30 seconds, flower cards’ duration has been decreased from 12 seconds to 8 seconds

    Eunwol

    • [​IMG] Summon Soul Tent: damage has been decreased from 200% to 75%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 3

    Luminous

    • [​IMG] Punishing Resonator: now has an increased 30% critical rate

    Demon Slayer

    • [​IMG] Demon Explosion: can now be used in the air, no longer throws monsters into the air, cast action delay has been decreased by 15% of its original delay, attack range has been decreased by 11% of its original range

    Demon Avenger

    Shield Chasing had an unintentional feature where it would be able to regenerate even when there were no monsters in range. To make up for removing this, we have tried to increase their hunting ability and survivability.

    • [​IMG] Shield Chasing: if there are no monsters in range, this skill will not regenerate and will disappear
    • [​IMG] Bloody Imprision: now increases Bat Swarm’s damage by 150%p
    • [​IMG] Blood Feast: when attacking boss monsters, health recovery has been increased from 5% to 10% (stage 1), 12% to 15% (stage 2), 20% to 25% (stage 3)

    Blaster

    To make hunting more efficient, we have spread Shockwave Punch’s power between the punch and the shockwave while maintaining its overall damage.

    • [​IMG] Shockwave Punch: damage has been decreased from 265% to 180%, shockwave’s damage has been increased from 140% to 270%
    • [​IMG] Burning Breaker: Aura Weapon’s aura wave can now activate on the rush attack

    Battlemage

    • [​IMG] Shelter: duration will now be shown on the buff window

    Wild Hunter

    We have increased the power of installation skills and reduced the cooldown for large range skills to help improve hunting and overall efficiency.

    • [​IMG] Assistant Hunting Unit: duration has been increased from 8 seconds to 12 seconds
    • [​IMG][​IMG] Flash Rain/Rampage as One: cooldown has been decreased from 14 seconds to 12 seconds
    • [​IMG] Jaguar Storm: Buff Freezers will now save this skill
    • [​IMG] Wild Grenade: you will now prepare grenades even while dead

    Xenon

    • [​IMG] Purge Lob Masquerade: Bombardment: attack range has been increased by 18% of its original range
    • [​IMG] Purge Lob Masquerade: Bombard: attack range has been increased by 19% of its original range

    Mechanic

    • [​IMG] Robot Mastery: damage boost from summoned robots will now appear in the stat window
    • [​IMG] Support Waver: H-EX: final damage boost from Support Waver will now appear in the stat window
    • [​IMG] Open Gate: GX-9: fixed an error where this skill would fall if used on slanted platforms
    • [​IMG] Massive Fire: SPLASH-F: damage has been increased from 390% to 400%, fixed an error where trying to use Mechanic Dash while holding this skill key down would cause you to be unable to jump until you stop the skill
    • [​IMG] Micro Missile: number of Micro Missiles fired has been increased from 30 to 38

    Kaiser

    We have increased the usability of Final Trance to be able to use it without worrying about the Morph Gauge.

    • [​IMG] Final Figuration: Buff Freezers will now save the Morph Gauge in addition to the Final Figuration state
    • [​IMG] Final Trans: the Morph Gauge before Final Trance is used will be restored after Final Figuration ends

    Cadena

    • [​IMG] Summon Beating Needle Bat: fixed an error where the Ability/Monster Life effect of increasing the maximum number of monsters hit would decrease this skill’s damage
    • Item potential skills: fixed an error where sound effects did not play

    Angelic Buster

    • [​IMG] Super Nova: fixed an error where you could use this skill while climbing rock walls
    • [​IMG] Spotlight: fixed an error where you could use this skill while climbing rock walls

    Kinesis

    We would like to slightly reduce their difficulty by adjusting cooldowns and attack ranges. In addition, we have added Kinesis’ BGM theme to their skill to make it stand out more.

    • [​IMG] Ultimate – B.P.M: cooldown has been decreased from 3 seconds to 0.5 seconds
    • [​IMG] Psychic Tornado: when the skill key is pressed, a 0.5 second activation wait time has been added to prevent the throwing attack from being activated immediately after using the skill
    • [​IMG] Psycho Break: attack range has been increased by 100% of its original range
    • [​IMG] Psychic Over: duration has been increased from 20 seconds to 30 seconds, cooldown has been increased from 180 seconds to 210 seconds, the Kinesis BGM theme will now play during this skill’s duration
    • [​IMG] Ultimate – Psychic Bullet: fixed an error where using this skill continuously would cause the client to exit

    Ark

    • [​IMG] Unstoppable Impulse/Unstoppable Instinct: cooldown has been increased from 4 seconds to 6 seconds
    • [​IMG] Endless Ominous Dream: input time to link other skills has been slightly increased
    Improvements and Bug Fixes

    • Lightbulb quest alerts have been improved.
      • A button has been added that shows only quests around your current level.
      • The quest beginning levels will now be shown.
      • The quest list will be sorted in descending order based on level.
    • Certain quests that appear in the lightbulb quest alerts have had their beginning levels added.
    • The mute function has been changed.
      • When the mute function has been turned off, it will be restored to the volume before it was muted.
      • If you use the mute function and then close the client, when you restart the mute function will be turned off.
    • When you are restricted from trading after logging in from a different IP, you will no longer be able to buy items from shops.
    • If you have more than 9 million Honor, you will now be able to the Monster Park’s Saturday Box. However, you will receive all rewards except Honor.
    • Urus Golden Time has been changed back to 8pm~10pm.
    • In Urus, there is now a maximum height that your character can reach.
    • Fixed an error where certain achievements could not be completed.
      • Fixed an error where Arks could not complete the Pantheon quest achievement. Arks who have already completed them can use the Update feature to get the achievement.
      • Fixed an error where buying the Absolabs Ancient Bow/Arcane Ancient Bow did not update the Best Buy achievement.
      • Fixed an error where defeating Tenebris’ Labyrinth of Suffering’s Giant Golem and Reverse Dark Soul did not update the Field Boss Defeat achievement.
      • Fixed an error where completing Kritias/Haven/Dark World Tree area weekly quests did not update the Daily Quest Completion achievements.
      • Fixed an error where completing Esfera/Tenebris area daily quests did not update their related achievements.
    • Fixed an error where the Mimic would sometimes not appear after using a Rune of Treasure.
    • Fixed an error where Pathfinder was unable to wear certain Cash items.
      • Janus’ Sword, Xylophone Melody, Sweet Fork Cake, Christmas Snowman, Maple Galaxy Laser Gun, Baby Message
    • Fixed errors in Pathfinder’s tutorial quests.
      • Fixed an error where reconnecting while in the tutorial map Partem Ruins Interior 1 would cause you to float in the air.
      • Fixed an error where forfeiting certain quests caused the partner NPCs to not disappear.
    • Fixed an error where the client would shut down after equipping the Meister Ancient Bow and basic attacking.
    • Fixed errors in Partem maps.
      • Fixed an error where the Incense Rabbit/Tree Forest Bug monsters had awkward movements.
      • Fixed an error where jumping down in the Deep Ruins map would cause you to appear to move multiple times.
      • Fixed an error where entering Partem as jobs other than Pathfinder would cause several NPCs to appear.
    • Fixed an error where monsters level 140 or higher would drop certain classes’ level 130 weapons.
    • Fixed an error in Reboot World where you would acquire other classes’ weapons from Elite Bosses and Runes of Treasure.
    • Fixed an error with the Battle Analysis system where if you died while it was active and lost experience, the negative numbers for acquired experience would not appear correctly.
    • Fixed an error where the Hyper Stat’s Arcane Force related images would appear in other UIs even when they were not enabled.
    • Fixed an error where during the 5th job advancement quests, unknown numbers would appear during the Record Keeper’s dialogue.
    • Fixed an error where if you open job advanced into a class with a Link Skill that you currently already had linked to your character, the stats would stack.
    • Fixed an error where certain Cash weapons would not appear when Night Walkers used Elemental Shift upwards.
    • Fixed an error where changing channels would sometimes cause the Union effect of HP boosts to not apply.
    • Fixed an error where the Heroes of Maple Act 2’s puzzle piece matching was abnormal.
    • The Receive De Lang’s Notes Again quest can now be repeated.
    • The Palace Guard Tegan quest’s experience reward has been removed. The Jiyur’s Sister quest’s experience reward has been increased.
    • Fixed an error where you sometimes had the ability to accept 6 weekly quests in Kritias.
    • Fixed an error where you could not move to certain areas in Knight’s Hall 2, 3, and 5.
    • Fixed an error where talking to the Old Lady in Morass’ Trueffet Square would sometimes have no dialogue.
    • Fixed an error in The SEED where Klang and Ligator’s monster effects were changed.
    • Stone Giant Colossus’ riding and sniping minigame can now be skipped.
    • Entering the Great Mind’s map will cause your equipped pet to become invisible.
    • A notice has been added to Elodin to let you know if you cannot receive the meso reward because your inventory is full.
    • The King Castle Golem will now appear more frequently in the Rose Garden.
    • Certain bosses with the same difficulty will now have 30 minute re-entry cooldowns. Each difficulty’s daily entry limit is the same as before.

    • In certain bosses, after you die, if you have remaining Death Counts you will now be automatically revived after a short grace period.

    • If you have cleared Black Heaven or Heroes of Maple on a character, all other characters in the same world will be able to enter Suu and Demian automatically.
    • Fixed an error where certain videos were too small in higher resolutions.
    • Fixed an error where changing your inventory would cause certain NPC’s actions to appear abnormally.
    • To distinguish Unit Damage Skins from regular Damage Skins, a U icon has been added.
    • The Wonky Training Dummy’s health has been increased.
    • Adventure Island’s Magic Mortar and Pestle’s duration has been extended to March 3.
    • Fixed an error in Adventure Drill where certain training dummy monsters had abnormally low health.
    • Fixed an error wher ethe Adventurer skill’s Adventure Power Gauge would sometimes cause you to be unable to click on buttons above the character’s head.
    • Fixed an error where sitting on the Adventure Dining/Performance CHairs would cause you to have 2 Reaper’s Masks.
    • You can now only receive Premium PC Room rewards if you are level 61 or higher.
    • The Trendy Royal Face Coupon’s description has been updated to show that all faces have the same rate. The rates are the same as before.
    • Fixed an error where Wonder Black, Luna Sweet, Luna Dream, and Luna Petite pets’ ranks could not be seen in the tooltip.
    • Certain actions of various Cash items have been changed.
