    Today’s test server patch includes a whole lot of job balancing adjustments, as well as some improvements to Arcane River hunting maps and new events.


    Overview

    • Job Balancing Adjustments
      • The goal of these balance adjustments was to reduce the gap in enjoyment of combat between jobs.
      • We have improved lower advancements where the combat was stiff and optimized the structure and logic of skills that created client load in order to make the combat experience more fun during the growth process.
    • Arcane River Hunting Maps Efficiency Improvements
      • Certain maps in Lacheln and later areas with low hunting efficiencies will have more monsters spawn/monsters spawn faster.
    • Pink Bean World
      • The wacky Pink Bean has returned! In Pink Bean World, you can find new Pink Bean Step Up missions and abundant rewards!
    • Camilla’s Flower Festival
      • On a sunny spring day, help Camilla complete the Flower Festival and receive beautiful gifts!
    • Haste Plus
      • Hunting accelerated! Grow one step faster through Haste Plus!
    Job Balancing Adjustments


    The goal of these balance adjustments was to reduce the gap in enjoyment of combat between jobs. In particular, w[COLOR=var(--color-text)]e have improved lower advancements where the combat was stiff by adding movement skills and adjusting the action delays and attack ranges of earlier skills. We also[/COLOR][COLOR=var(--color-text)] optimized the structure and logic of skills that created client load in order to make the combat experience more fun during the growth process.[/COLOR]

    All Classes

    To reduce the phenomenon where multiple attacking skills used at the same time would cause the client to exit due to increased load, we have optimized logic. We have also changed the Inner Ability that only applied to certain status effects which created deviations between jobs.

    • Attacking skills: the logic has been optimized when multiple attacking skills are used at the same time
    • Battle Statistics system: fixed an error where sometimes when dealing high damage, the stats would not be sorted correctly
    • Additional damage to status affected monsters Inner Ability: this Ability now applies to all status effects instead of only certain ones
    • [​IMG] Hero’s Will skills: fixed an error where if you used this at the same time as being affected by petrification, the petrification effect would not appear
    • Hyper Stat DF/TF: this will now increase Psychic Points as well, by 1 PP per level
    • Link Skills: fixed an error where sometimes the transferred Link Skill would be released
    • V Matrix: fixed an error where sometimes unequipped Cores would appear in the skill UI
    • [​IMG] Rope Connect: you can no longer sit on chairs while using this skill
    • [​IMG] Maple World Goddess’ Blessing: fixed an error where you could not use this skill on ropes
    • [​IMG] Another World’s Goddess’ Blessing: fixed an error where the Shield’s Blessing did not reduce the damage of certain attacks

    All Archers

    • [​IMG] Guided Arrow: this skill will no longer attack while you are on a rope, the skill description of “attacks while in combat state” has been changed to “attacks while you are attacking” to match the current logic

    Adventurer Warriors

    We have increased Warrior Leap’s movement range, added Leap Attack which can dive down while in the air, and Upper Charge which lets you jump upwards to improve overall manoeuvrability and reduce stiffness.

    • NEW! [​IMG] Leap Attack: From the air, dive to the ground to strike enemies. You can use this skill when there is a platform below you within a certain range. You can use this skill with the down and forwards arrow keys to descend diagonally. Instead of using the skill, you can press the down/forwards arrow keys and the attack key to activate it. (max level: 1)
      • Level 1: Consumes 5 MP. Deals 90% damage 2 times on up to 4 enemies.
    • [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG] Rush: Rush enhancement cores will now enhance Leap attack and Upper Charge as well

    • NEW! [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG] Upper Charge: Rush into the air to attack enemies. This skill does not require SP. You can activate this skill by pressing the up arrow key and attack key together. (max level: 1)
      • Levle 1: Consumes 20 MP. Deals 300% damage on up to 5 enemies.

    Hero

    • [​IMG] Brandish: action delay has been decreased by 4%, attack range has been increased by 33%
    • [​IMG] Brave Slash: action delay has been decreased by 4%, attack range has been increased by 37%
    • [​IMG] Raging Blow: unenhanced Raging Blow’s action delay has been decreased by 8%, damage has been decreased from 268% to 200%, number of hits has been increased from 5 to 7, enhanced Raging Blow’s damage has been decreased from 285% to 215%, number of hits has been increased from 5 to 7
    • [​IMG] Advanced Final Attack: damage has been decreased from 250% to 170%, number of hits has been increased from 2 to 3
    • [​IMG] Rage Uprising: action delay has been decreased by 27%

    Paladin

    • [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG] Flame/Blizzard/Lightning/Divine Charge: attack range has been adjusted upwards but the overall range has been kept the same
    • [​IMG] Final Attack: damage has been decreased from 150% to 80%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 2
    • [​IMG] Parashock Guard: party members who receive Parashock Guard’s effects will have a p character displayed on the buff window’s icon, this skill will now apply to all guild members instead of party members in Sharenian’s Underground Culvert
    • [​IMG] Blessing Armor: fixed an error where you did not take damage from certain % HP attacks
    • [​IMG] Blast: damage has been decreased from 310% to 280%, number of hits has been increased from 8 to 9
    • [​IMG] Sanctuary: number of hits has been increased from 7 to 8
    • [​IMG] Sanctuary – Bonus Attack: number of hits boost has been increased from 1 to 22
    • [​IMG] Holy Unity: fixed an error where sometimes if you gave Paladin’s buffs to a bonded party member and they left the party, the buffs would not disappear

    Dark Knight

    Reincarnation’s death penalty fit well with its skill concept, but it did have problems in many situations. Therefore, we have changed it so that if you do not satisfy the conditions, the penalty has been changed to an increased cooldown instead of death.

    • [​IMG] Piercing Through: attack range has been increased by 22%
    • [​IMG] Final Attack: damage has been decreased from 150% to 80%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 2
    • [​IMG] Reincarnation: death penalty if you did not kill a certain number of enemies after being activated has been removed, cooldown has been increased from 600 seconds to 1200 seconds, now if you kill a certain number of enemies after being activated the cooldown will be decreased to 600 seconds
    • [​IMG] Dark Spear: fixed an error where if you pressed the skill key continuously, sometimes multiple Dark Spears would be created

    Adventurer Magicians

    • [​IMG] Energy Bolt: action delay has been decreased by 4%
    • [​IMG] Teleport: fixed an error where if you used it upwards when there was no platform to move to, it would activate and the effect would appear

    Archmage (F/P)

    We have added a limit to the maximum number of fireballs that DoT Punisher can create as the number could increase indefinitely depending on the DoT inflicted by other characters on the same map.

    • [​IMG] Ignite: damage has been decreased from 110% to 40%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 3
    • [​IMG] Paralyze: action delay has been decreased by 3%, damage has been decreased from 250% to 220%, number of hits has been increased from 6 to 7
    • [​IMG] Mist Eruption: action delay has been decreased by 9%, damage has been decreased from 345% to 185%, number of hits has been increased from 8 to 15
    • [​IMG] Meteor: action delay has been decreased by 16%, damage has been decreased from 935% to 470%, number of hits has been increased from 4 to 8
    • [​IMG] DoT Punisher: you can now only create up to 25 fireballs
    • [​IMG] Poison Nova: when the poison cloud disappears without being exploded, it will now fade out

    Archmage (I/L)

    • [​IMG] Cold Beam: action delay has been decreased by 21%
    • [​IMG] Thunderbolt: action delay has been decreased by 16%
    • [​IMG] Ice Strike: action delay has been decreased by 20%
    • [​IMG] Glacial Chain: action delay has been decreased by 17%
    • [​IMG] Thunder Storm: action delay has been decreased by 14%
    • [​IMG] Chain Lightning: damage has been decreased from 230% to 185%, number of hits has been increased from 8 to 10
    • [​IMG] Blizzard: action delay has been decreased by 16%, damage has been decreased from 900% to 450%, number of hits has been increased from 4 to 8
    • [​IMG] Frozen Orb: action delay has been decreased by 9%

    Bishop

    We have reduced the action delays of certain buff skills that felt frustrating to use.

    • [​IMG] Holy Fountain: action delay has been decreased by 65%, this skill is no longer affected by cooldown resets
    • [​IMG] Divine Protection: action delay has been decreased by 31%
    • [​IMG] Holy Magic Shell: action delay has been decreased by 16%, fixed an error where you did not take damage from certain % HP attacks
    • [​IMG] Angel Ray: damage has been decreased from 315% to 225%, number of hits has been increased from 5 to 7
    • [​IMG] Resurrection: action delay has been decreased by 47%
    • [​IMG] Vengeance of Angel: Angel Ray’s number of hits boost has been increased from 5 to 7
    • [​IMG] Angel of Libra: buffs from the Angel of Benevolence will now apply to all guild members instead of party members in Sharenian’s Underground Culvert

    Bowmaster

    Arrow Rain’s client load was sever when multiple monsters gathered in its area. We have changed the skill to reduce the load while not decreasing the power significantly.

    • [​IMG] Arrow Rain: Arrow Rain can now only be activated by your own skills, Arrow Rain areas can no longer overlap, if there is more than 1 enemy inside an area that area’s number of hits will be increased by 2 for every enemy after the first (up to a maximum of +10)
    • [​IMG] Afterimage Shot: fixed an error where sometimes this skill could not hit Dusk

    Marksman

    • [​IMG] Bolt Rupture: action delay has been decreased by 18%
    • [​IMG] Sniping: action delay has been decreased by 4%, damage has been decreased from 730% to 440%, number of hits has been increased from 5 to 9
    • [​IMG] Long Range True Shot: damage has been decreased from 750% to 450%, number of hits has been increased from 5 to 9

    Pathfinder

    We have attempted to reduce Pathfinder’s damage slightly due to its overall power.

    • [​IMG] Additional Discharge: fixed an error where sometimes the magic arrows could not hit Dusk
    • [​IMG] Additional Blast: fixed an error where sometimes the magic arrows could not hit Dusk
    • [​IMG] Essence of Archer: damage boost has been removed
    • [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG] Ancient Astra: Relic Gauge consumption per second has been decreased from 80 to 65, maximum keydown duration description has been removed

    Night Lord

    To reduce the discomfort of moving away from an enemy after using Spread Throw, we have added a new feature.

    • [​IMG] Fuma Shuriken: you can now reuse the skill to stop the flying shuriken in its current location

    Shadower

    • [​IMG] Edge Carnival: action delay has been decreased by 13%
    • [​IMG] Meso Explosion: damage per coin has been decreased from 200% to 100%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 2
    • [​IMG] Boomerang Step: action delay has been decreased by 7%, damage has been decreased from 742% to 375%, number of hits has been increased from 2 to 4
    • [​IMG] Assassinate: damage has been decreased from 550% to 275%, number of hits has been increased from 3 to 6, final attack’s damage has been decreased from 700% to 350%, number of hits has been increased from 3 to 6

    Dual Blade

    Blade Ascension is an up jump skill but the jump height was low so it required higher mastery. We have added a feature to let you jump a little higher to lower its usage difficulty.

    Since Blade Tornado’s typhoon hit several times at once, the power was quite strong, so we have slightly increased the cooldown.

    • [​IMG] Tornado Spin: action delay has been decreased by 13%
    • [​IMG] Fatal Blow: action delay has been decreased by 35%
    • [​IMG] Flying Assaulter: action delay has been decreased 35%
    • [​IMG] Blade Ascension: you can now use this skill with the up arrow key to jump higher, this feature can only be used once while in the air, it cannot be used in the air if you jumped from the ground
    • [​IMG] Asura: fixed an error where if you entered a Soul skill command while using Asura then Asura could not be cancelled
    • [​IMG] Hidden Blade: you can no longer use this skill while using other skills
    • [​IMG] Blade Tornado: cooldown has been increased from 12 seconds to 15 seconds

    Adventurer Pirates

    • [​IMG] Dash: Screw Punch and Triple Fire damage boost has been removed, duration has been decreased from 20 seconds to 10 seconds, this skill is no longer affected by buff duration increasing effects

    Viper

    Instead of a low-efficiency dash, we have added a new skill suited to martial artists to help increase mobility in lower advancements.

    • NEW! [​IMG] Advanced Dash: Improve the dash, allowing you to press the left or right arrow keys twice to quickly move a short distance. If you continue to hold the key down after that, Dash will activate. This skill does not require SP. Your speed and jump will be increased for an instant when you use the skill but it is not affected by buff duration boosts. If you cannot activate Advanced Dash, entering the command will activate Dash. [Dash Activation: Arrow keys →→ or ←←] (required skill: level 5 Dash) (max level: 1)
      • Level 1: Consumes 1 MP. Move a short distance. For up to 10 seconds, increases speed by 50 and jump by 20.
    • [​IMG] Tornado Upper: action delay has been decreased by 14%, Energy Tornado’s action delay has been decreased by 15%
    • [​IMG] Energy Buster: action delay has been decreased by 14%, attack range has been increased by 75%, Hedgehog Buster’s attack range has been increased by 11%
    • [​IMG] Shockwave: action delay has been decreased by 29%
    • [​IMG] Energy Blast: Energy Blast and Double Blast’s action delays have been decreased by 9%, fixed an error where other characters would see arrows being fired when used

    Captain

    We have increased Battleship Bomber’s duration and decreased the differences in damage between crew members to reduce uncertainty. We have also decreased Head Shot’s action delay so you can stop Rapid Fire to use it.

    • [​IMG] Wings: can now be used in the air, however the jump power is decreased if used in the air, if you used Wings to jump you cannot use it in the air
    • [​IMG] Battleship Bomber: duration has been increased from 30 seconds to 60 seconds, Dauntless’ damage has been increased from 275% to 330%, Shulynch’s damage has been increased from 150% to 200%, Jonathan’s damage has been increased from 235% to 320%
    • [​IMG] Head Shot: action delay has been decreased by 35%
    • [​IMG] Quick Draw: location in the skill window has been moved
    • [​IMG] Bullet Party: you can now reuse the skill to cancel it, you can now jump downwards while using this skill

    Cannon Shooter

    We have added a restriction because Cannon Shooter was exceedingly strong on large monsters.

    • [​IMG] Big Huge Gigantic Cannonball: a cannonball can now only attack a single enemy up to 40 times

    Mikhail

    We have added Vertical Shining Chase to reduce mobility discomfort. Shining Cross – Install automatically activated even if you didn’t want it to, so we have added a separate command to activate it intentionally.

    The order of skills in the skill UI has been changed to active skills then passive skills.

    • [​IMG] Soul Driver: attack range has been increased by 19%
    • [​IMG] Shining Chase: Shining Chase enhancement cores will now enhance Vertical Shining Chase as well

      • Level 9: Consumes 35 MP. Deals 400% damage on up to 6 enemies.
    • [​IMG] Final Attack: damage has been decreased from 150% to 50%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 3
    • [​IMG] Soul Slash: attack range has been increased by 13%
    • [​IMG] Soul Assault: damage has been decreased from 280% to 210%, number of hits has been increased from 8 to 11
    • [​IMG] Shining Cross: action delay has been decreased by 4%, skill description has been corrected
    • [​IMG] Advanced Final Attack: damage has been decreased from 185% to 95%, number of hits has been increased from 2 to 4

    • [​IMG] Rho Aias: you can no longer use Rope Connect while using this skill, the skill description has been updated to match the current logic of allowing you to use Shining Chase while using this skill

    Soul Master

    To improve the utilization of Cross the Styx in combat, the cooldown has been decreased and the uncharged attack range and damage have been increased.

    • [​IMG] Cross the Styx: cooldown has been decreased from 30 seconds to 20 seconds, you can no longer be knocked back by any attack while charging, uncharged damage has been increased from 600% to 800%, attack range has been increased by 14%
    • [​IMG] Celestial Dance: fixed an error where if you used Cross the Styx while this skill was active it would sometimes show the charge effect twice

    Flame Wizard

    Infernalize has been buffed so it can be used over a wide area while hunting.

    • [​IMG] Infernalize: damage has been increased from 285% to 350%, number of hits has been increased from 5 to 10

    Wind Breaker

    The damage that Wind Wall could absorb was high so they had excellent survival ability. We have reduced that ability and increased their damage instead.

    • [​IMG] Idle Whim: fixed an error where sometimes this skill could not hit Dusk
    • [​IMG] Wind Wall: Element has been decreased from 400 to 225, number of hits has been increased from 4 to 5 (at level 25), fixed an error where certain attacks’ damage was not decreased, fixed an error where sometimes this skill could not hit Dusk

    Night Walker

    We have added a custom command to Shadow Jump to make it easier to use and we have increased the effectiveness of Shadow Stitch to lower Night Walker’s overall difficulty.

    • [​IMG] Shadow Jump: a custom command function has been added which allows you to jump without moving, you can use it with the left and right arrow keys to jump in the desired direction, you can right click the skill to turn this feature on/off
    • [​IMG] Darkness Omen: duration has been increased from 3 seconds to 5 seconds
    • [​IMG] Shadow Stitch: shadow movement speed has been increased, bind duration has been increased from 7 seconds to 10 seconds, you can no longer be knocked back by any attacks while the shadow is moving

    Striker

    • [​IMG] Wave: action delay has been decreased by 16%

    Aran

    • [​IMG] Combat Step: distance moved if used in the air has been increased
    • [​IMG] Adrenaline Boost: fixed an error where the Adrenaline Boost effect would appear in cutscenes where the character was not visible
    • [​IMG] Boost End – Hunter’s Targeting: can now be activated while in the air, attack will now activate 4 times in a row
    • [​IMG] Swing Studies II: afterimage’s damage has been decreased from 350% to 280%, number of hits has been increased from 4 to 5
    • [​IMG] Advanced Final Attack: damage has been decreased from 250% to 85%, number of hits has been increased from 1 to 3
    • [​IMG] Brandish Maha: the skill description has been updated to match the current logic of not receiving the effects of Adrenaline Boost

    Evan

    Zodiac Ray could be activated faster than intended, leading to high damage. We have reduced its power by slightly increasing the activation difficulty.

    • [​IMG] Zodiac Ray: required magic charged has been increased from 22 to 25

    Mercedes

    • [​IMG] Sylphidia: if a buff freezer is applied then you are petrified while using it, you will now reboard Sylphidia after the petrification is removed

    Phantom

    The order of skills in the skill UI has been changed to active skills then passive skills.

    • [​IMG] Phantom Shroud: fixed an error where the effect would remain if you resurrected after dying while using this skill
    • [​IMG] Double Piercing: attack range has been increased by 40%
    • [​IMG] Talent of Phantom Thief II: fixed an error where if you used Rage, the reflection effect would not apply

    • [​IMG] Breeze Carte: action delay has been decreased by 8%

    • [​IMG] Ultimate Drive: attack interval has been decreased by 7%, damage has been increased from 110% to 125%

    Eunwol

    • [​IMG] Spirit Claw: damage has been decreased from 380% to 265%, number of hits has been increased from 8 to 12

    • [​IMG] Spirit Focus: fixed an error where the effect would appear in cutscenes where the character was not visible

    Luminous

    • [​IMG] Dark Falling: action delay has been decreased by 9%
    • [​IMG] Lightransforming: you can now use this skill while on ropes outside of Equilibrium state, fixed an error where in Equilibrium state if you jumped down then used this skill upwards you would not be able to reach the platform
    • [​IMG] Sylphid Lancer: action delay has been decreased by 17%
    • [​IMG] Void Pressure: attack beginning delay has been decreased by 43%
    • [​IMG] Inviolability: action delay has been decreased by 17%
    • [​IMG] Spectral Light: attack beginning delay has been decreased by 42%
    • [​IMG] Nox Spear: action delay has been decreased by 9%
    • [​IMG] Death Scythe: action delay has been decreased by 39%
    • [​IMG] Anti Magic Shell: action delay has been decreased by 55%
    • [​IMG] Light Shadow Guard: action delay has been decreased by 14%
    • [​IMG] Light Reflection: action delay has been decreased by 3%
    • [​IMG] Apocalypse: action delay has been decreased by 3%
    • [​IMG] Morning Starfall: action delay has been decreased by 9%

    We would like to reduce the burden when multiple skills need to be used at the same time by adding additional Force absorption features to 5th job skills.

    • [​IMG] Death Curse: skill name has been changed to ‘데스 커스’
    • [​IMG] Devil Sider: attack beginning delay has been decreased by 36%
    • [​IMG] Dark Judgement: action delay has been decreased by 44%
    • [​IMG] Demonic Breath: attack beginning delay has been decreased by 38%
    • [​IMG] Death Draw: skill name has been changed to ‘데스 드로우’, action delay has been decreased by 25%
    • [​IMG] Demon Explosion: action delay has been decreased by 6%
    • [​IMG] Demon Awakening: this skill now requires Demon Slash Final Enhancement and Cerberus, automatically activated Cerberus’ additional Force absorption will now apply when it hits enemies
    • [​IMG] Orthrus: Nemea and Gerion’s attacks will now absorb additional Force when they hit enemies

    Demon Avenger

    • [​IMG] Conversion Star Force: the applied Star Force and increased HP will now appear in the skill description, the skill description has been updated to match the current logic of not applying to title and medal Star Force, you will now receive additional HP when you have 121 or higher Star Force in Urus
    • [​IMG] Blood Feast: fixed an error where you could not use Demian’s altar while charging
    • [​IMG] Dimension Sword: rotating attack’s attack interval has been decreased by 14%

    Blaster

    To match the high level of difficulty of chaining skills, we have increased Combination Training’s final damage buff.

    • [​IMG] Endurance Shield: shield conversion rate has been changed to 30% at all skill levels
    • [​IMG][​IMG] Ducking/Sway: fixed an error where if you used the jump key while using these skills to stop them, sometimes you would jump
    • [​IMG] Endurance Training: shield conversion rate has been changed from 30% to 40%

    Battle Mage

    To help Battle Mages party with each other, different types of Auras will now apply together. Since certain Auras’ values are reduced when you reach certain specs, we have added new features.

    Shelter’s long duration meant Battle Mages were forced into parties, so we have weakened it while increasing the power of other skills.

    • [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG] Aura skills: if you have different types of Auras they will all apply, however if you have Union Aura then only Union Aura will apply, party members who receive Aura’s effects will have a p character displayed on the buff window’s icon, these skills will now apply to all guild members instead of party members in Sharenian’s Underground Culvert
    • [​IMG] Death: this skill will now disappear in cutscenes where the character was not visible
    • [​IMG] Yellow Aura: when you learn Dark Lightning, this skill will now increase Teleport Ver.2’s distance moved
    • [​IMG] Drain Aura: this skill’s passive effect’s healing every 4 seconds has been increased from healing 1000HP to 2% max HP + 1000 HP
    • [​IMG] Nerve Stimulation: now increases attack speed by 1 stage

    • [​IMG] Wild Vulcan: you can now use Triple Jump while holding the key down while riding the Jaguar, however the attack interval has been decreased when used in the air

    Mechanic

    To improve mobility and better utilize Mechanic’s concept of riding in a robot, a new resource called Booster has been added.

    • [​IMG] Mechanic Dash has been changed to Jet Booster: Activate your booster to move quickly. If you use this skill in the air, you will consume your Booster Gauge. When you land on the ground, the Booster Gauge will be instantly recovered. (max level: 1)
      • Level 1: Maximum of 100 Booster. All skills consume 8 MP when activated.
        Double Acceleration: Consume 60 Booster to jump once more while in the air. You can activate this skill by jumping while in the air or by using this skill. You can use this skill while not riding the Metal Armor and if you do, Booster will not be consumed.
        Booster Deployment: Consume 20 Booster per second to float in the air for a certain period of time. You can activate this skill by pressing the down arrow key while holding the skill or jump key down.
        Mechanic Dash: Distance moved has been decreased. Booster is not consumed if used on the ground. Consume 20 Booster if used in the air. You can activate this skill by pressing the left and right arrow keys twice or by using the skill with the left and right arrow keys. While on the ground, you can only activate this skill by entering the skill key. Cooldown: 0.3 seconds.
