    A small KMST patch was released today, it just has some skill changes for the new job Kain. I think they released it a little early because of the holidays, but since Kain comes out on January 7 and they still haven’t added any tutorial/story/skill sound effects, there will probably be one more test server patch next week.

    Overview

      • While dealing with the organization’s enemies, Kain realizes by chance that the organization has been deceiving him. Check out his story.

    Beginner

    • [​IMG] Prior Preparation: Fixed an issue where the number of hits on a boss monster required to complete a preparation was displayed incorrectly. (The skill requires 5 hits on a boss monster at all levels)

    1st Job

    • [​IMG] Strike Arrow: Skill effect has been changed, attack range has been slightly decreased.
    • [​IMG] Shadow Step: Fixed an issue where you could only move forwards if you used this skill while using another skill.
    • [​IMG] Grappling Wire: When you use this skill again after the wire connects, you will now move to the end of the wire without holding the key down. If you use the skill again while moving, you will stop. A system message will now be displayed when the skill cannot be used on certain terrain. You can no longer register this skill to a macro. Fixed an issue where you could use this skill on maps that did not allow you to use skills that move upwards. Fixed an issue where if you used this skill while using a portal, the effect would be awkward. Fixed an issue where your character action was awkward while the wire was connected.
    • [​IMG] Shadow Swift: Fixed an issue where you would not move if you used this skill immediately after using Shadow Step.

    2nd Job

    • [​IMG] Possession: Malice acquired every few seconds has been increased from 8 to 10, Malice acquired when skills hit an enemy has been increased from 12 to 15, amount of time required to acquire Malice has been decreased. Fixed an issue where you could not use this skill while using key down skills.
    • [​IMG] Dragon Fang: Damage has been increased from 85% to 100%, attack period has been decreased. Fixed an issue where a line appeared on the screen when the skill moved more than a certain distance at once.

    • [​IMG] Strike Arrow II: Skill effect has been changed, attack range has been slightly decreased.

    • [​IMG] [Possess] Strike Arrow: Skill effect has been changed.
    • [​IMG] Scattering Shot: Range has been decreased. Fixed an issue where you would acquire Malice for each arrow. Fixed an issue where the final damage was not decreased when attacking a single enemy.
    • [​IMG] [Possess] Scattering Shot: Re-possess cooldown has been decreased from 7 seconds to 6 seconds.

    3rd Job

    • [​IMG] Strike Arrow III: Skill effect has been changed, attack range has been slightly decreased. Fixed an issue where Strike Arrow II’s damage boost to Strike Arrow and the arrow fragments did not apply after learning this skill.

    • [​IMG] Death Blessing: Thanatos Descent’s Area of Death will now apply Death Blessing to enemies. You will now receive the Merit buff when Death Blessing is materialized, increasing Execute skills’ final damage by 10% and giving you 10 Malice when Execute skills hit an enemy. Death Blessing’s effect has been changed, the maximum number of stacks has been increased from 10 to 15, the duration has been increased from 60 seconds to 90 seconds, the Merit buff’s final damage boost has been increased from 5% to 10%, Death Blessing’s damage has been decreased from 150% to 140%. Fixed an issue where the Merit buff applied to the first skill that materialized Death Blessing. Fixed an issue where applied stacks on boss monsters would disappear if you revived in certain boss monster maps. Fixed an issue where the Death Blessing effect was awkward on certain monsters.
    • [​IMG] [Possess] Shaft Break: Re-possess cooldown has been decreased from 12 seconds to 11 seconds.
    • [​IMG] [Execute] Phantom Blade: Damage has been decreased from 190% to 155%.
    • [​IMG] [Execute] Tearing Knife: Damage has been decreased from 250% to 210%.
    • [​IMG] Remain Incense: Recreation cooldown has been greatly decreased from 6 seconds to 0.3 seconds. This skill is now created when Possess skills are used instead of when they hit an enemy. The number created is now different based on the Possess skill. Damage has been decreased from 150% to 90%, damage boost to normal monsters has been increased from 50% to 100%. Buff Freezers will now apply to this skill.

    4th Job

    • [​IMG] Possession II: Malice acquired every few seconds has been increased from 10 to 20, Malice acquired when skills hit an enemy has been increased from 17 to 20. Fixed an issue where the Malice boost was not applied.
    • [​IMG] Advanced Death Blessing: Death Blessing’s damage boost has been decreased from 155%p to 135%p, the Merit buff now increases the amount of Malice acquired whn Execute skills hit an enemy by 2. Fixed an issue where HP was not recovered after killing enemies.
    • [​IMG] Falling Dust: Fixed an issue where you could use this skill on maps that did not allow you to use skills that move upwards.
    • [​IMG] [Possess] Falling Dust: Re-possess cooldown has been decreased from 16 seconds to 14 seconds. Fixed an issue where you could use this skill on maps that did not allow you to use skills that move upwards.
    • [​IMG] [Execute] Chain Sickle: Damage has been decreased from 180% to 160%, swing’s damage has been decreased from 230% to 200%. Fixed an issue where the skill would be cancelled if you pressed the arrow keys when using it.
    • [​IMG] [Execute] Poison Needle: Damage has been decreased from 260% to 225%, continuous attack’s damage has been increased from 115% to 150%, number of hits has been decreased from 12 to 8. Fixed an issue where you could use this skill on maps that did not allow you to use skills that move upwards. Fixed an issue where the skill would be cancelled if you were hit while using it. Fixed an issue where the skill would continue if you were inflicted with a status effect while using it.
    • [​IMG] Dragon Scale: Fixed an issue where the character would fall to a platform if you changed directions continuously while holding the skill key down.

    Hyper

    • [​IMG] Chasing Shot: Maximum number of enemies hit has been increased from 6 to 7, now deals 30% increased damage to regular monsters.
    • [​IMG] Sneaky Sniping: Damage has been increased from 150% to 175%. This skill now uses a Cartridge system, prepare 1 Sneaky Sniping Cartridge every 40 seconds, you can hold up to 1 Cartridge at a time. Fixed an issue where the skill would be cancelled if you were hit while using it. Fixed an issue where the skill would continue if you were inflicted with a status effect while using it.
    • [​IMG] [Possess/Execute] Sneaky Sniping: Damage has been increased from 190% to 200%. Regular Sneaky Sniping will no longer be used if you hold the key down after using this skill. Fixed an issue where the skill would be cancelled if you were hit while using it. Fixed an issue where the skill would continue if you were inflicted with a status effect while using it. Fixed an issue where Shadow Step’s cooldown was not reset if you killed an enemy.
    • [​IMG] Incarnation: Duration has been increased from 30 seconds to 40 seconds.

    5th Job

    • [​IMG] [Possess] Dragon Burst: Damage has been decreased from 950% to 800%, number of hits has been increased from 10 to 12, maximum key down duration has been increased from 3 seconds to 5 seconds, maximum number of attack activations has been increased from 10 to 15, attack interval has been decreased, cooldown has been increased from 60 seconds to 90 seconds. A pre-requisite skill has been added. Fixed an issue where you could not hold the skill key down for the maximum duration even if the maximum number of activations was not reached. Fixed an issue where the skill would continue if you were inflicted with a status effect while using it. Fixed an issue where the cooldown message would be outputted continuously while holding the skill key down.
    • [​IMG] [Execute] Fatal Blitz: Damage has been decreased from 650% to 600%, duration has been decreased from 3 seconds to 2 seconds, maximum number of attack activations has been increased from 10 to 14, attack interval has been decreased, cooldown has been increased from 60 seconds to 90 seconds. A pre-requisite skill has been added. Fixed an issue where you could not hold the skill key down for the maximum duration even if the maximum number of activations was not reached. Fixed an issue where the skill would continue if you were inflicted with a status effect while using it. Fixed an issue where Shadow Step’s cooldown was not reset if you killed an enemy.

    • [​IMG] Thanatos Descent: Malice acquired boost has been increased from 20 to 40. The Touch of Death has been changed to the Arrows of Death, the effect and attack logic have been changed. The Area of Death’s cast effect has been changed. A pre-requisite skill has been added. Fixed an issue where the Malice acquired was not increased.
    • [​IMG] Grip of Agony: Damage has been increased from 450% to 950%, number of hits has been increased from 4 to 6, number of enemies required to kill for 1 Agony has been increased from 25 to 30, number of hits on bosses required for 1 Agony has been increased from 12 to 25. Fixed an issue where the maximum number of enemies hit was lower than intended.
