    A new test server patch has been released, and this one is huge. It has so many different improvements, bug fixes, and QoL updates, a lot of which were mentioned during the Customer Conference last week.

    Certain buff skills with cooldowns can now be registered to the Pet Auto Buff. Skills that can be registered will say so in the skill descriptions.

    The 5th job common skill [​IMG] Blink has been changed.

    • The cooldown has been decreased from 40 seconds at level 25 to 20 seconds at all levels.
    • The HP consumption has been decreased from 5% max HP to 3% max HP.
    • The all stats passive boost has been changed to a 25 attack/magic attack boost (at level 25).
    • You can now hold the key down while in the air to float for up to 4.6 seconds (at level 25).

    The following screen effects will no longer block boss monsters’ HP gauges.

    Developer Notes:

    During party play, we have changed it so that debuffs other than the bind can apply when bind skills are used on an enemy that is resisting binds so that you can still contribute with your effects.

    Night Lord

    • [​IMG] Quadruple Throw: Damage has been increased from 378% to 420%.
    • [​IMG] Spread Throw: Final damage reduction when using Quadruple Throw has been increased from 15% to 20%.

    Viper

    • [​IMG] Furious Charge: Preparation time of the Ocean’s Energy has been decreased from 10 seconds to 8 seconds.

    Mikhail

    • [​IMG] Guardian of Light: Link skill’s duration has been increased from 110 seconds to 180 seconds (at level 2).

    Soul Master

    • [​IMG] Dance of Moon/Speeding Sunset: The effect of not being able to be knocked back by any attack will now apply for a short period of time after the action ends.

    Flame Wizard

    • [​IMG] Burn and Rest: Max MP recovered has been increased from 75% to 90%. Cooldown has been decreased from 90 seconds to 60 seconds.
    • [​IMG] Liberated Magic: MP cost boost has been decreased from 50% to 30%.

    Aran

    • [​IMG] Blizzard Tempest: Dire Wolf’s curse’s range has been increased by 30%. When dealing additional damage, the range to find cursed enemies has been increased by 150%.

    Evan

    • [​IMG] Support Jump: Name has been changed to Wind Jump. This skill now lets you activate a gust of wind to jump higher, without Mir’s help.

    Mercedes

    • [​IMG] Acrobatic Jump: Name has been changed to Spirit Jump. The skill effect has been changed. The cast action has been removed.

    Phantom

    • [​IMG] Swift Phantom: The cast action has been removed.

    Luminous

    • [​IMG] Light Shadow Guard: This skill has been changed to a passive skill.
    • [​IMG] Dark Crescendo: This skill has been changed to a passive skill. This skill now gives a damage increase buff for 8 seconds and when an attack hits an enemy, the stacks increase per attack hit and the duration is refreshed. The maximum number of stacks has been decreased from 15 to 10. The damage per stack has been increased from 2% to 4%.

    Demons

    • NEW! [​IMG] Demon’s Will: Hone your resolve to ignore certain abnormal status effects. You will be immune to status effects for 3 sec after use. However, this will not apply to certain status effects. Combat Orders does not apply to this skill. This skill does not require SP. (max level: 1)
      • Level 1: Consumes 30 MP. Cooldown: 370 seconds.

    Battlemage

    • [​IMG] Abyssal Lightning: The underworld’s lightning’s maximum number of enemies hit has been increased from 4 to 6.

    Wild Hunter

    • [​IMG] Capture: The special Onyx Jaguar has been added and can now be caught in the Jaguar habitat.
    • [​IMG][​IMG] Summon Jaguar/Jaguar Riding: Cooldown has been decreased from 3 seconds to 1 second.
    • [​IMG] Crossbow Booster: This skill has been changed to a passive skill. Name has been changed to Crossbow Acceleration.
    • [​IMG] Beast Form: The increased stats have been changed to passive effects. The active effect will now only show the wings effect. The ability to turn the wings effect on/off has been removed.
    • [​IMG][​IMG] Beast Form – Reinforce/Rapid Attack: A pre-requisite skill of level 20 Beast Form has been added.
    • [​IMG] Jaguar Storm: This skill now increases Jaguar skills’ damaage to regular monsters by 150% and the Another Bite activation rate by 50% while active. A new command has been added by using this skill with the down arrow key. When this new command is used, the number of summoned Jaguars will be decreased to 3 but the Jaguar skills’ damage will have 205% final damage and they will be summoned near the skill cast location. When the skill is used without the new command, the summoned Jaguars’ area has been increased by 16%.

    Developer Notes:

    Jaguar Storm summons Jaguars in a big range so it was difficult to hit all attacks when fighting boss monsters. If we simply decreased the summon range, the hunting effectiveness would have been lowered and the effects would overlap and decrease visibibility. Therefore, we have added a method that summons a smaller numbero f Jaguars but increases their damage to make up for this.

    Xenon

    • [​IMG] Mega Smasher: Duration has been decreased from 10 seconds to 6 seconds. Damage has been decreased from 550% to 525% (at level 25). Attack interval has been decreased by 29%.
    • [​IMG] Photon Ray: Base aim interval has been decreased by 50%.

    Developer Notes:

    By reducing both the total attack time and the attack interval, a similar amount of damage can be inflicted in a shorter period of time, allowing Mega Smasher to be used more effectively.

    Cadena

    • [​IMG] Chain Arts: Take Down: If the bound enemy is not within attacking range after pressing the skill key, you will now be moved instantly to that enemy before attacking.

    Zero

    • NEW! [​IMG] Transcendent’s Will: Hone your resolve to ignore certain abnormal status effects. You will be immune to status effects for 3 sec after use.     Cubes/Rebirth Flames Acquisition Experience Improvements


    Developer Notes:

    The acquisition methods have been unified from various routes to a single one where you can acquire them by defeating Elite Monsters and Elite Champions which appear on the map. The cubes will be maintained at about the same level as before but Rebirth Flames will be increased to about 5x. In areas with higher level monsters, there is a higher acquisition rate. We plan to continuously observe the overall amount of Rebirth Flames acquired and the consumption amount and make adjustments. When changes are made, we will notify you through update release notices.

    In addition, Black Rebirth Flames and their crafting material (Forever Unrelenting Black Flame) have been added. The acquisition rate is half of the Eternal Rebirth Flames, and we will continue to observe and adjust this as well.

    In this improvement process, cubes and Rebirth Flames that bosses in Reboot World dropped at a low rate have also been removed. We will present a more suitable experience when we reorganize boss rewards, including in Reboot World.

    When you defeat Elite Monsters and Elite Champions, they will now drop the following items at various rates.

    • Craftsman’s Cube (tradeable, expires in 7 days)
    • Meister Cube (tradeable, expires in 7 days)
    • Powerful Rebirth Flame (tradeable, expires in 7 days)

    The Union Preset has been improved.

    • The Union Preset Coupon’s price has been changed from 500 coins to 150 coins.
    • After the update, the number of purchaseable Union Preset Coupons has been reset to 3.
    • Union Preset Coupons have been changed so that each Union Preset can be extended up to 180 days from when they were used.
    • Union Presets that were open as of April 22, 2021 will be extended to July 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM.

    Developer Notes:

    To alleviate the hurdles of resetting additional options, various Rebirth Flames have been added to the Union Coin Shop. Besides this, will will continue to have updates to alleviate the hurdles of resetting them.

    We also wanted to improve the experience of using Union Presets by decreasing the prices and extending the maximum duration.
    Item Improvements

    Star Force enhancements and Scroll Trace enhancements’ animation time has been shortened to 1/5 as much.

    A Rebirth Flame UI has been added.

    • When using Rebirth Flames, you can confirm the reset results through the UI.
    • If you have multiple of the same item, you can use them continuously.
    • When using Black Rebirth Flames, the remaining number will be shown on the UI.

    The trade properties of certain secondary weapons has been changed. (Mechanic/Demon Avenger/Demon Slayer/Mikhail)

    • Mechanic, Demon Avenger, Demon Slayer, and Mikhail’s secondary weapons have been changed from untradeable to tradeable.
    • The secondary weapons received at 1st/2nd/3rd job advancement can now have potential. You can now unequip them from the equipment window. They will no longer be removed when you receive a higher level equipment.
      • Mechanic: Magnum, Split Magnum, Vital Magnum, Eternal Magnum
      • Demon Avenger: Patient Force Shield, Willful Force Shield, Powerful Force Shield, Extreme Force Shield

    Developer Notes:

    Mechanic, Demon Avenger, Demon Slayer, and Mikhail’s emblems and secondary weapons were all tradeable unlike other jobs. This was a barrier of entry when ccreating a new character and was a burden for current characters, so we have improved it.

    Developer Notes:

    Various consumable items were not saved when the client exited because of various causes, which caused discomfort when playing. In addition to the previous saved experience related consumable items, 2 of the experience related weather effect buffs and the Wealth Acquisition Potions which many players use while grinding, as well as four elixirs that can be crafted at Meister level Alchemy will no longer be removed even when the client exits.

    The Arcane Symbol and Authentic Symbol growth experience has been improved.

    • When growing Arcane Symbols or Authentic Symbols, you can now grow them beyond the maximum growth value of the current level.
    • However, you cannot grow them beyond the value required to reach the Symbol items’ maximum value.

    The Storage UI’s horizontal length has been expanded. The number of slots per line has been increased from 4 to 8.

    When using Soul Shards, each Soul’s acquisition rate will now be displayed.

    The Extreme Growth Potion’s usage experience has been improved.

    • Extreme Storm Growth Potions can now be used at level 200 or higher.
    • When used by characters level 200 or higher, you will receive the amount of experience required to level up at level 199.

    Developer Notes:

    The existing Extreme Growth Potions could not be used at level 200 or higher, so they were less useful if you only had level 200 or higher characters. To alleviate this, we have changed them so that those characters can also use them.

    The Safety Charm item can now be purchased in single quantities for 350 Cash each. (You can use Mileage.)

    In regular worlds, Buff Freezers can now be purchased in quantities of 50 (7,000 Cash) and 100 (10,000 Cash). (You can use Mileage.)

    The size of the icons of equipment items dropped by boss monsters has been increased to make them easier to see.

    When using scrolls, Rebirth Flames, Soul Enchanters, equipping Souls, Mysterious Anvils, and Cube items, the sound effects will no longer be outputted to other characters.

    Clean Slate Scrolls, Potential Stamps, and Potential Scroll items have been changed so that you can hold up to 100 per slot in your inventory.

    Elixir items that can be crafted through Alchemy which stacked less than 100 in a single slot have been changed so that you can hold up to 999 per slot in your inventory.

    When hovering over Cash item tooltips in the chat window, they will now be compared with your currently equipped Cash items.

    Boss Monster Improvements

    The Boss UI will now display your clear status.

    • The Boss UI has been improved so that you can now confirm your challenge status on the selected bosses.
    • You can now confirm quickly whether you can challenge a boss or not and if you have cleared at the bottom right part of the UI.
    • You can see more detailed challenge and clear status in the tooltip by hovering over the boss picture.

    Developer Notes:

    In the client 1.2.341 update on December 17, 2020, the boss UI was changed so that you could instantly move to boss entry maps. There were many opinions that this improvement was convenient, but there were also many opinions that it was uncomfortable since you could no longer check bosses’ challenge and clear statuses.

    To alleviate this inconvenience, you can now check the boss UI to quickly see if you can challenge a boss before moving, if challenging it is not possible due to lack of remaining entries, and if you have cleared it already. We have also added the ability to check information about the number of times you have challenged the boss and the number of clears.

    Pink Bean’s entry material has been removed.

    • The Chaos Marble is no longer consumed when entering Normal/Chaos Pink Bean.
    • It has been changed so that you can only enter once per day, regardless of difficulty.
    • The ‘[Pink Bean] Breaking the Barrier’ quest can no longer be completed.

    [Colour Blindness Support] In Will phase 1, a crack image has been added to the platforms of one area to better distinguish between the two.

    Adventurer Emblem Acquisition Experience Improvements

    The Adventurer emblem acquisition quest has been changed.

    • The existing Adventurer’s Book quests which rewarded the Silver Maple Leaf Emblem and Gold Leaf Emblem have been changed.
    • The ‘Adventurer Guild’s Reward’ quest has been changed to be available when you are level 70 or higher. The name has been changed to ‘Adventurer’s Proof’.
    • The ‘Maple Island’s Saviour’ quest has been changed to be available when you are level 100 or higher. The name has been changed to ‘Free Adventurer’s Proof’.

    Developer Notes:

    Adventurers had a longer quest line to acquire emblems compared to other jobs. We have improved this by changing it so they are acquired at certain levels to reduce the inconvenience.
    The Seed Improvements

    The Ring Activation skill has been added.

    • The Ring Activation skill has been added which lets you use the active skills of the rings from the Seed.
    • The Ring Activation skill is only available when you have a skill ring equipped.
    • The Ring Activation skill’s activation effect and cooldown are shared with the currently equipped skill ring’s active skill, and if you change your skill ring, it will change accordingly.

    Developer Notes:

    The special skill rings acquired from the Seed are used strategically in boss fights, and there are up to 10 types used. As a result, it was uncomfortable to assign each skill to a hotkey or activate the skill using the mouse during hectic boss fights. The Ring Activation skill allows you to combine the active effects of the skill rings into a single hotkey, and it will relieve some of the aforementioned hotkey inconvenience.

    [Colour Blindness Support] On 2f, the different types of cards now have specific patterns to make them easier to distinguish.

    The [​IMG] Alicia’s Roar!? skill has been added on 20f to interfere with the Tin Woodcutter’s oiling and on 40f to push the Scarecrow. You can use the skill by pressing the NPC/Harvest key on those floors.

    Monster Life Improvements


    The Good Work! quest reward has been increased from 1 Gem Exchange Ticket to 5 Gem Exchange Tickets.

    The Care limit has been decreased from 3 to 1. The monster experience, farm experiance, and Waru acquired has been increased to 3x.

    The monster combination experience has been improved.

    • When a Special category combination fails, rank based monsters will now appear based on the general combination logic instead of only C rank monsters.
    • When combining, the rates for Special category monsters to appear has been changed based on rank and have been increased from before. The appearance rates will be displayed in a later update.

    Reboot World Improvements

    The Reboot passive skill’s damage boost has been changed to a final damage boost.

    A Droplet Stone exchange feature has been added. You can now trade Arcane River Droplet Stones and Primal Droplet Stones by talking to the NPC Canto in Lacheln, Morass, and Esfera.


    Developer Notes:

    Because of Reboot World’s specific restriction on trading, after you reached a certain level range, you had to suffer several penalties to acquire Arcane River Droplet Stones. To alleviate this, we have added the ability to exchange the two Droplet Stones through the NPC Canto in Lacheln, Morass, and Esfera.
    Beauty Room Slot Increase and Base Mannequins Provided

    The Beauty Room’s base slots and maximum slots have been expanded. 3 Mannequins have been provided for each section.

    After the update, everyone will have their Hair Room and Face Room slots increased by +6, their Skin Room slots increased by +3, and +3 Mannequins will be applied to each section.

    Pathfinder Open Job Advancement Restriction Removal

    The Adventurer archer Pathfinder’s open job advancement restriction has been removed, allowing you to freely change jobs between Bowmaster, Marksman, and Pathfinder. After the 4th job advancement, you can use the Open Job Advancement by talking to the Archer Advancement NPC Legor in the Leafre Priest’s Forest map.

    Developer Notes:

    Since Pathfinder was released on January 31, 2019, it was restricted from Open Job Advancement. After more than 2 years since their release, we decided that it was appropriate to remove the restriction to open new possibilities for players.

    In addition, the ‘Master of Ancient Power’ medal, which some players know, is exclusive to level 200 Pathfinders. Previously, Pathfinder was an Adventurer archer before it was a unique class, so it received ‘Sniper Lord’ when reaching level 200. Now, at level 200, Pathfinder will acquire the unique medal ‘Master of Ancient Power’ after completing the storyline.
    Fairy Bros’ Daily Gift Improvements

    The Daily Gift acquisition method has been changed.

    • You can now receive the gift if you have defeated a total of 300 monsters within your level range, shared in the world.
    • Certain content and event monsters are not included in the recorded amount.
    • After midnight, the number of defeated monsters within your level range will be reset.

    Developer Notes:

    Since the existing conditions for hunting monsters within your level range were based on a per-character basis and some of the rewards were untradeable, it was inconvenient to hunt with a certain character to receive those rewards on that character. To alleviate this, the conditions to receive rewards has been changed to hunt 300 monsters within the level range, shared within the world.

    The Daily Gift has maintained the same rewards for about 3 years since the client 1.2.293 update on February 28, 2019. With this reorganization, we wanted to change some of the less useful items and update them to rewards that support basic game play.

    Karma Black Rebirth Flames have been added and the Epic Potential Scroll has been replaced with a 100% version since they have higher utility when used and to remove the difference in experiences due to probability.

    In addition, the convenience items have been enhanced, the Slot Expansion Coupons have been changed so that you can select the type that you need, and items required for Union and character growth have been added.

    If there is a record of your account using Nexon OTP, Green PC, or one-time Green PC, the security rank gauge will only increase up to 99% and you cannot increase your rank to Yellow PC.

    Fixed an issue with Aran’s Install Maha where other skills could not be activated when it ended.

    Evan’s Mir skills and Fusion skills have been changed so that when using hidden portals to move away while using Mir skills or Fusion skills, they will not be cancelled. Fixed an issue where if you used a hidden portal while using Mir skills or Fusion skills and then instantly used Return! or continuously activated Fusion skills, the Fusion skill would be cancelled.

    Fixed an issue with Evan’s Swift of Wind where during 2nd job, the attack range would change based on the direction it was used in.

    Fixed an issue with Evan’s Breath – Return! where if Combat Orders was applied after activating it, Breath – Return!’s damage would not be applied.

    Fixed an issue with Evan’s Zodiac Ray where in Lucid phase 2, sometimes it would be installed on the wrong platform.

    Fixed an issue with Mercedes’ Elemental Ghost where the afterimage attack range was applied based on the character position instead of the afterimage position. Fixed an issue where it could not be saved by Buff Freezers.

    Fixed an issue with Phantom’s Phantom Shroud where if it was used on a diagonal platform, sometimes you could not move downwards.

    Phantom’s Noire Carte has been changed so that if an enemy disappears when a Reverse Card is flying towards them, it will now fly to another nearby enemy.

    Fixed an issue with Phantom’s Mark of Phantom where if you died while a mark was created on Papulatus then revived, the mark effect would appear 2 times for a moment.

    Eunwol’s Soul Split has been changed so that when using skills that target the enemy with the highest max HP on the separated soul and the original monster, they will now prioritize the original monster.

    Fixed an issue with Luminous’ Larkness system where if you exited the Cash Shop, sometimes the screen would appear red due to the Larkness alert screen effect.

    Fixed an issue with Demon Slayer’s Demon Trace where in Will phase 1, if used with the up arrow key, sometimes you would move to the wrong location.

    Fixed an issue with Demon Avenger’s Revenant where after it ended, sometimes the HP reduction debuff would not be applied. In Black Mage, the skill has been changed so that if you consume all your Death Counts by stacking the Creation and Destruction debuffs while Revenant was active, you will now die and exit.


    Developer Notes:

    In boss fights, they are based on the fact that the character dies when all Death Counts are consumed. Since this is a specific problem due to the combination of Black Mage’s special characteristic where Death Counts are decreased even when you didn’t die and Revenant’s special characteristic where your HP cannot reach 0, we have changed it to cause you to die and exit.

    Fixed an issue with Blaster’s Vulcan Punch where if it was used while crouching, the first attack would not be activated.

    Xenon’s Mega Smasher has been changed so that if you enter the Torrent Zone while charging or attacking, the skill will be cancelled.

    Fixed an issue with Xenon’s Overload Mode where in Magnus and Suu, if you died while using it and used a Buff Freezer before resurrecting, your MP would be recovered.

    Fixed an issue with Mechanic’s Metal Armor: Tank where if the skill was cancelled due to you dying while in Metal Armor: Tank, it would still appear to other characters.

    Fixed an issue with Mechanic’s Metal Armor Full Burst where if you were hit at the same time as using it, the skill would be cancelled.

    Fixed an issue with Cadena’s Chain Arts: Takedown where if it was used as soon as Zakum appeared, sometimes Zakum would not move.

    Fixed an issue with Cadena’s Chain Arts: Fury where if you moved a long distance at a high speed while using it then attacked, the giant chain would not be activated.

    Fixed an issue with Zero’s skill system where the Assist duration was applied for a shorter time than the skill description. Fixed an issue where the client would exit if a certain number of Assists were activated within a short period of time. Fixed an issue where after using skills that created sword slashes, if you used another skill before the sword slashes activated, they would not be activated. Fixed an issue where the client would exit if you used Flash Assaulter immediately after using certain attack skills. Fixed an issue in the Union Raid where Zero was placed as an attacker, the whirlwind effect would not appear when using skills.

    Zero’s Transcendent Rhinne’s Prayer’s skill description has been updated to match the current logic that all of Zero’s skill cooldowns are reset except for those not affected by cooldown resets.

    Fixed an issue with Ark’s skill sound effects where the hit sound effects will be played only a certain number of times when certain skills hit multiple monsters at the same time.

    Boss Monster Error Fixes


    If you defeat a boss at the same time as when the time limit ran out, the time limit will now be extended.

    Fixed an issue with Elite Bosses where after defeating them, you could sometimes acquire 3 Rare Treasure Chests.

    Fixed an issue with Horntail where if you moved to the next phase when a party member was dead, they be instantly resurrected. It has been changed so that when you move through the portal, only the party members who use the portals will be moved.

    Fixed an issue with Von Leon where if you entered the Harvest/NPC key at the right end of the Audience Room, you would use the exit portal.

    Fixed an issue with Hilla where sometimes the explosion pattern did not deal damage. Fixed an issue where sometimes the HP gauge displayed was different than the actual HP.

    Fixed an issue with Von Bon where if the client exited while in the East Garden or Von Bon’s Inner World, you would sometimes be moved to Sleepywood instead of Giant Root.

    Fixed an issue with Zakum where sometimes the smack down pattern did not deal damage.

    Fixed an issue with Papulatus where the torrent of time timer appeared awkwardly.

    Fixed an issue with Suu where in phase 2 and 3’s platform pattern, sometimes platforms would exist but they could not be stood on. Fixed an issue where the laser would be activated without any platforms. Fixed an issue in phase 3 where if it was bound at the same time as the beginning of the orb throw pattern, 2 Suu’s would appear for a short period of time.

    Fixed an issue in Demian where if playing a party, sometimes 2 or more Demians would appear during the body pattern. Fixed an issue where sometimes you would not die even after recieving 7 Stigma stacks. Fixed an issue in phase 2 where the smack down attack’s duration was longer than the effect.

    Fixed an issue in Lucid where in phase 2, Lucid would move for some time even after being bound. Fixed an issue in phase 2 and 3 where if you died after falling to the bottom of the map and revived, the HP reduction and potion lock would still be active.

    Alleviated an issue in Will where in phase 1, sometimes the screen would move erratically. In phase 1, the map move pattern has been changed so that at least 1 party member is moved to each area. Fixed an issue in phase 2 where Will did not have a cast action when using the mirror spider pattern. Fixed an issue in phase 3 where your Moonlight Gauge did not reover even when touching the spiderwebs while invincible.

    Fixed an issue in Dusk and Dunkel where the difficulty options were cut off in the entry portal.

    Jin Hilla has been changed so that Death Counts are not consumed after defeating the boss.

    Fixed an issue in Black Mage where sometimes if you died due to the damage of stacking the Creation and Destruction debuffs, a Death Count would not be immediately consumed but it would be consumed after resurrecting. Fixed an issue in phase 1 where debuffs from skills applied to the Wailing Walls. Fixed an issue in phase 4 where if you were hit by the Destruction Bomb pattern, the Destruction debuff was applied before the damage.

    Fixed an issue with Sharks and Cold Sharks where they dropped equipment that did not match your job.

    Fixed an issue where if you acquired items or tried to trade while dead, it would incorrectly output a message saying you had insufficient slots. It has been changed to state that these actions are not available while dead.

    Fixed an issue in 1920×1200 resolution where characters did not appear properly when Blinded.

    In the Sound Settings options, if all sound settings are muted and you try to press the mute hotkey, a message stating that ‘All sounds are already muted.’ has been added.
