    A small test server patch was released last night for the stuff we’ll be getting next week, which includes changes to getting guild skill points and the return of the Toben Hair Hero event who is now aiming for the Dark Boss set! You can even get the new Fantasy Item Damage Skin, since Dark Boss drops are a fantasy.

    Unfortunately, it doesn’t contain any information about the winter update, which confirms that the first patch will be on December 30 (for the official server). This means that the next KMST update we can look forward to should be around either December 16 if they have stuff that needs two weeks of testing or December 23 if it’s going to be a smaller patch.

    Guilds


    The Noblesse skill points given out as Flag Race rewards have been changed. Each guild member’s Flag Race weekly Flag Race score will now be added up and Noblesse skill points will be given out according to the guild’s total score.

    The Noblesse skill points given out as Sharenian’s Underground Culvert rewards have been changed.

    Developer Notes:

    After the reorganization in June, the competition in Flag Race between guilds was overheated and players in guilds became overly fatigued. Therefore, a large part of the Noblesse SP given from Flag Race has been transferred to Sharenian’s Underground Culvert, and the Noblesse SP given from Flag Race has been changed to be based on flat requirements.

    In addition, for Sharenian’s Underground Culvert, the upper section has been subdivided further, and the points have been redistributed in general to lower the difficulty of acquiring Noblesse SP overall and to alleviate the competition between guilds.

    Going forward, we will continue to monitor guild content, and if we determine that additional measures are necessary, we will make corrections.

    Improved an issue where the Flag Race start time guide was sometimes not provided.

    Skills


    Improved an issue with the following skills where in Dusk, they would only move you to the lowest platform.

    [​IMG] Demon Jump has been improved so that you can use skills after Demon Jump or use Demon Jump after using certain skills more smoothly.

    Fixed an issue with [​IMG] Battle Mage’s Death where it would be deactivated when entering maps that restricted certain movement skills even if you could still use attacking skills.

    [​IMG] Cadena’s A.D Ordnance‘s duration has been increased, and it has been changed so that it instantly fires even if it reaches the maximum number of hits while charging energy.


    Developer Notes:

    There was an issue where A.D Ordnance would sometimes disappear without firing the last attack, the energy orb. To improve this, the duration has been increased and the orb has been changed to fire instantly when the charging attacks more than a certain number of times.
    Monsters


    In Suu (Scenario/Normal/Hard) phase 1, it has been improved so that if you defeat the Black Heaven Core, the remaining lasers will no longer deal damage.

    In Black Mage, it has been improved so that if you are dead while changing phases, dead characters will be moved after reviving instead of being forcibly moved.

    Quests


    The following details have been changed in the Kritias weekly quests.

    • The ‘Frozen Energy Collection’ quest name has changed to ‘Freezing Energy Collection’ and the required items have been changed to ‘Freezing Energy’.
    • The ‘Forest Road That Isn’t Frozen Yet’ quest’s required items have been changed to ‘Frozen Weapon’s Energy’.
    • The ‘Burning Energy Collection’ quest name has changed to ‘Burned Energy Collection’ and the required items have been changed to ‘Burned Energy’.
    • The ‘Burning Weapon and Energy Collection’ quest’s required items have been changed to ‘Burning Weapon’s Energy’.
    Items


    The notification text that appears when you don’t meet the conditions for using a Luna Crystal have been changed as follows. ‘To use a Luna Crystal, you need 2 or more Wonder Black and Luna Sweet rank pets that have not been equipped.’

    Magnificent Soul items’ tooltips have been updated to include ‘Additional potential stats are set with the same rates’.

    Soul items’ tooltips have been changed to display the success rate only once.

    The names of the Yggdrasil’s Blessing items that can be used on level 120 or higher equipment havae been changed.

    The following Soul Shards have been added as possible rewards from the Soul Disassembler.

    The types of buffs received through the Giant Pet skill have been changed.

    • The HP potion recovery rate +15%, MP potion recovery rate +15%, DEX +8, all stats +5, and attack/magic attack +5 buffs have been removed.
    • The speed +15 and jump +15 buffs have been combined into one.
    • A max HP/MP +500 buff has been added.

    The new types of buffs and their rates are as follows.

    • Max HP/MP +500 (20%)
    • Speed +15, Jump +15 (20%)
    • Defense +150 (20%)
    • All stats +10 (20%)
    • Attack/magic attack +10 (20%)

    Developer Notes:

    Before July 2016, you could get accuracy +15, avoid +150, and magic defense +150 buffs from the Giant Pet skill. In the V Update, magic defense was removed, weapon defense was changed to defense, and the accuracy/avoid logic was reorganized so the Giant Pet buffs were changed from accuracy/avoid to DEX +8, and from magic defense to +150 defense.

    We thought the usage experience needed to be improved, given that there were multiple possible options with the same stats, that only DEX was provided among STR/INT/DEX/LUK stats which was not suitable for an item that should have been able to be used by various jobs, and that there were too many types of buffs that could be received.

    Accordingly, the buff rate range has been narrowed by removing useless buffs and by changing the all stats/attack/magic attack buffs that had multiple options with different values to keep only the ones with the highest values. In addition, all buff rates have been changed to be the same.
    Maps


    In Mu Lung Dojo 1F~80F, you can no longer create parties or invite to parties.

    In Monster Park, you can no longer create parties or invite to parties.

    Story

    In Lara, Adele, Ark, and Illium’s tutorial quests, Kaiser and Angelic Buster illustrations have been added.

    Achievements


    The [Level Up] achievements have been changed so they are no longer displayed in the Pending Achievements section.


    Developer Notes:

    There was an issue where level up achievements become harder to achieve as your level increases so they would often be fixed at the top of the Pending Achievements section.

    We decided that this didn’t match the purpose of the Pending Achievements section, which is supposed to show achievements that can be completed soon, so level up achievements have been changed so they are no longer displayed there.

    The ‘Cooking is About Speed!’ achievement’s description has been changed, and the point at which the achievement is acquired after clearing it has been changed.

    The Seed


    In the Seed 24F, it has been changed so that after you enter the town you think is the answer, you can now check your answer once more.

    In the Seed 49F, the Axe Stump type monsters’ silhouettes will no longer appear.

    Etc.


    The experience and drop rate reduction details have been slightly changed.

    • The experience and drop rate reduction details from Elite Boss’ curses have been changed to be the same as the character death penalty.
    • When an Elite Boss’ curse is applied, the reduced experience rate will be displayed as %.
    • When a character dies, if the death penalty and an Elite Boss’ curse are both active, only the one with the higher value will be applied.

    If you try to party invite a user that is playing content that does not allow party play, a message that states they cannot be invited to a party will be displayed.

    You can no longer use the Cash Shop, Maple Auction, change channels, or Monster Life while crafting with professions.

    You can no longer enter Ursus on characters that are doing the Lie Detector test.

    Test World


    When importing characters from the official server to the test world, their quickslots, macros, and hotkey settings will now be imported as well.

    Fixed an issue where sometimes Invincible Belief did not activate instantly.

    Fixed an issue in the following situations where monsters would reset the target they were aggroed to.

    • Using Venom Burst when monsters were aggroed to Dummy Effect
    • Hitting monsters that had Ignition applied with Cataclysm, Dragon Slave, and Infernalize

    Fixed an issue where certain summon skills appeared awkwardly to other characters.

    Fixed an issue with Bishop where if they used Resurrection on a party member that was hit by Demian’s binding hand, the stun status would not be removed when they were revived.

    When Phantom uses Steal Skills in Capture Mode, Capture Mode will now exit.

    Fixed an issue with Kaiser where if they used Giga Slasher and Draco Slasher, the slow effects would stack multiple times.

    Fixed an issue with Angelic Buster where if they were using Bubble Star, the effect would appear awkwardly to other characters.

    Fixed an issue with Angelic Buster where if they exploded Energy Burst’s energy orb while hanging on a rope, there would be an awkward action.

    [​IMG] Zero’s Limit Break will no longer activate [​IMG] Critical Bind.

    Fixed an issue with Adele where Restore would not nearby enemies while using Levitation.

    If an Ark enters a map where Spectre Mode cannot be used, they will automatically be removed from that mode.

    Monsters


    Fixed an issue in Guardian Angel Slime where the background music would not play when entering the battle.

    Fixed an issue where Dusk’s laser firing would sometimes be delayed or stopped.

    Fixed an issue in Chosen Seren where damage could be dealt to chosen Seren even after the midnight time had completely disappeared.

    Fixed a problem when entering certain boss monster battles where the animation being played would be played from the middle.

    Fixed an issue where if you used a skill that changed a monster’s location, the location where the silhouette is outputted would not match.

    Fixed an issue in the Seed 4F where the Wild Cargos on the left side had no sound effects.

    Quests


    Fixed an issue in Lacheln’s ‘Fall’ quest where the cutscene was awkward.

    Fixed an issue in Arcane River story quests where the Arcane Force requirements were not set.

    Fixed an issue where quests that could be completed repeatedly in a certain period of time were completed then time passed and they changed to a state where they could be started again, they would not be displayed in the Available Quests tab.

    Fixed an issue with the ‘[Yum Yum] Familiar, Unfamiliar’ quest’s completion information where the completion NPC image was displayed in an awkward location.

    Fixed an issue where the currently unavailable ‘Medal – Guardian of Mushroom Kingdom’ quest was displayed in the in-progress medal tab.

    Fixed an issue in Dimensional Library Episode IV: Winter Bard where skill effects blocked the background in certain cutscenes and made it look awkward.

    Fixed an issue in Black Heaven ACT.6’s escaping Black Heaven stage where you could cancel Orca’s Help and Helena’s Help skills by right-clicking them with the mouse.

    Fixed an issue during quest cutscenes where the character would be displayed in an awkward location intermittently, or the character would stop during moving cutscenes and the quest could not be completed.

    Fixed an issue with the ‘[Chew Chew] Ultimate Chef Mister Lick’ quest where it displayed an awkward quest description in the completed tab.

    Items


    Fixed an error where if you were claiming the Seed ranking rewards but your Decoration tab was full, you would not receive the rewards.

    Fixed an issue where the Advanced/Ultimate Hunter’s Pouches had awkward line breaks.

    Fixed the Event Ring Only Meister Cube’s awkward notation.

    Fixed an issue where titles that gave boss monster damage had awkward line breaks.

    The Hot Air Balloon Riding Voucher (Permanent)’s name has been changed to the Night Sky Hot Air Balloon Riding Voucher (Permanent) to match the riding skill’s name.

    The Fairy Bros’ Selective Riding Box’s list of items has been changed from the Hot Air Riding Ballon Riding to the Night Sky Hot Air Balloon Riding.

    Fixed an issue with Spiegelmann’s Badge Box where you could acquire items without base stats.

    Fixed an issue when using the Clothing Bin where the icons of pets whose magic time ran out would be displayed in the same shade of red as items that cannot be thrown away in the Clothing Bin.

    Fixed an issue where certain items would be dropped as tradeable but were still sold by certain NPCs as untradeable.

    Fixed an error in Lion King’s Castle/5th Tower where if you tried to enter Prison Guard Ani, it would display that level 110 was required.

    Fixed an issue in the cross world party quests map where you could use the Sit button to sit on a chair.

    Fixed an issue in Monster Park/Mysterious Forest Arcana Stage 1 where the character would be hidden behind the platform when jumping.

    In Monster Park/City of Dreams Lacheln Stage 4, a rope has been added to the bottom of the map.

    Fixed an issue in the Foggy Forest Training Centre map where pets and Androids would jump abnormally at the end of the map.

    Fixed an issue in Dimension Invade where if you used the exit portal and cleared the stage while the exit menu was open, you would not receive rewards.

    Fixed an issue in Hidden Street/Lania’s House and Hidden Street/Lania’s House Front Yard maps where characters could use the Maple Guide or Teleport World Map to move to other maps.

    Fixed an issue in Sellas/Star Swallowed Sea map where Lie Detectors could be used.

    Fixed an issue where if a party member had the profession or enhancement UI open, you could not move to maps that let you enter alone even while in a party like random portals.

    Fixed an issue in the Forest of Poison Fog where if a Viper used Transform, the character’s appearance would not be changed.

    Fixed an issue in Kritias/Northeast Street map where if you jumped while standing at the bottom of the stone statue on the right, the character would be displayed behind the building.

    Fixed an issue in 1920×1200 and 1920×1080 resolutions where certain map backgrounds in Cernium displayed black lines.

    Fixed an issue in Burning Cernium/Broken Cernium Square and Cernium/Cernium Square maps where if the character moved to the left or right end of the map, other characters and NPCs on the other side would not be displayed on the minimap.

    Fixed an issue with the portal between Limen/Tears of the World Midpoint 3 and Limen/Tears of the World Midpoint 4 would cause the character to be moved to a location other than the connected portal.

    Fixed an issue where if you held down a skill or movement related hotkey while moving maps before the screen completely changed, the character would be moving.

    Fixed an issue in Ludibrium Castle/Ludibrium map where certain ladder images in the centre were cut off.

    Fixed an issue in Cernium/Royal Library Area 1 map where the upper right platform appeared to be cut off.

    Fixed an issue in Victoria Road/Lady Syl’s Room map where the NPCs were displayed in awkward locations.

    UI


    Fixed an issue in the Maple Guide where the top left corner was not curved.

    Fixed an issue with the Event List where if the number of registered events was less than 2, the lower part was awkward.

    Fixed an issue where if you changed resolutions while the client was running, the UIs displayed in the bottom of the screen would become dark.

    Fixed an issue where if you completed all Road of Vanishing quests and did not complete the ‘[Chew Chew] Blocked Arcane River’ quest then tried to press the Move button for Chew Chew Island in the Maple Guide, there would be no response.

    Fixed an issue where the client would temporarily slow down if you hovered over the icon of a reward item that you had not received yet in the Daily Gift UI.

    Fixed an issue where if you tried to duplicate the Seed expedition rankings UI, the popup message’s text would be outputted outside the popup message box.

    Fixed an issue in [Mirror World] Leafre’s dungeon entrance menu where the Minar East Forest and Minar West Forest’s button images were swapped.

    Fixed an issue where if you left a guild with a Guild Mark then joined another guild without a Guild Mark, the Guild Mark of the quest you left would be displayed next to the guild name of the guild you joined on other characters’ screens.

    Fixed an issue in the guild board UI where if you scrolled while entering a comment, the cursor would be displayed in an awkward location.

    Fixed an issue where if you tried to delete a guild board post, the client would intermittently exit.

    Fixed an issue where the Mileage settlement message when entering the CAsh Shop would disappear before the screen changed and was not visible.

    Fixed an issue where sometimes after claiming the previous week’s Maple Union ranking rewards, you could not check your last week’s ranking.

    Fixed an issue in the Maple Auction where searching for all secondary weapons would not search for Blades.

    Fixed an issue in Fritto’s Bounty Hunting’s Get Treasure where the basket displayed above the character’s head overlapped awkwardly with other equipment images.

    Fixed an issue in the Seed where if you used the portal to move to the next map while the profession or enhancement UIs were open, your total number of floors for the day would be updated but your character would not be moved.

    Fixed an issue where sometimes you could not claim Mu Lung Dojo ranking rewards.

    Fixed an issue where the cooldown for closeness when feeding an item to an Item Pot would not decrease when entering Monster Life, Maple Auction, or the Cash Shop or changing channels.

    Fixed an issue on environments using external graphics cards where if you used the external chat display feature in windowed mode, the client would display a black screen.

    Fixed an issue where if the date changed while accumulating Mileage, the daily accumulated Mileage would be reset twice.

    Fixed an issue with the Legend of Legends I/II/II achievements where if the detailed completion conditions were achieved, the completion would not be processed.

    Fixed an issue in Tangyoon’s Cooking Class where if the character exited immediately after the last monster was defeated, it would appear that the monster was not defeated. The character will now exit 3 seconds after the monster is defeated.

    Fixed an issue where after using the Soft Petal or Blush Petal skin, certain actions’ right hand images were awkward.

    Fixed an issue where certain Pink Coin Purses (8 slots) could not be used as material when crafting the Pink Coin Purse (20 slots).

    You can now press the PrintScreen key while the gamae is running to take a screenshot.

    Fixed an issue in Green PC where if there were 10 registered PCs and a new PC was registered, there would temporarily be 11 PCs displayed on the UI.
