    A new test server patch was released today, including various quality of life changes, story improvements, and the 19th Anniversary event (to be covered when it hits the official servers next week).

    The Boss HP % Display feature has been added. A UI that displays their HP % has been added below the boss portrait.

    • For Guardian Angel Slime, only the actual HP (dark green) will be displayed.
    • For Lucid, the HP will be displayed by adding up the multiple HP bars.
    • For Will phase 1, the HP of each colour will be displayed.
    • For Jin Hilla, the HP will be displayed based on the total HP.

    The materials acquired from Ursus have been changed to be shared by characters within the same world.

    The following items which can be purchased from the Ursus Shop can now be stacked up to 100 in a single slot.

    When Star Forcing, the Star Catch will no longer activate if the success rate is 100%, regardless of the Star Catch checkbox.

    When Star Forcing, the destruction prevention checkbox will no longer be automatically removed.

    ※ Even when the destruction prevention checkbox is ticked, the effect and additional meso consumption will only apply to the 12th~16th stars.

    In Pink Bean (Normal/Chaos), all status effects will now be removed after defeating it.

    In Dusk (Normal/Chaos)‘s fear pattern, the character’s petrify status effect will now be displayed before the summoned monsters.

    You can now enhance, disassemble, and craft cores directly through the V Matrix.

    • In the V Matrix, you can right-click a desired core to enhance, disassemble, or lock it.
    • You can use the Core Disassemble button to disassemble multiple cores at the same time.
    • You can use the Crafting Mode button to craft cores and Core Gemstones.
    • You cannot use the V Matrix’s enhancement, disassemble, and crafting features in certain maps such as boss entry waiting maps.

    When creating a character, after entering a name, another confirmation window will appear if the name is unused and can be created.

    Mu Gong will now appear in ‘Mu Lung Garden/Wandering Bear’s Territory’.

    When moving to maps through the Boss UI, you will now be moved directly to the entry waiting maps for the following bosses.

    You can now choose to display your title and medal’s images.

    • You can use the checkbox in the equipment window’s Equip tab to choose to display them or not.
    • When the displays are turned off, the equipped images will become invisible to you and other users but the stats will still apply.

    You can now claim your Union Coins without having to enter the Union raid.

    • In the Union UI, you can click the ‘Receive Coins’ button to claim your coins.
    • The ‘Receive Coins’ button cannot be used in certain maps such as boss entry waiting maps.

    Daily quests in all Arcane River areas, Cernium, and Hotel Arcs can now be completed through the lightbulb icon on the left side of the screen.

    For MVP users and Premium PC Room, when using the Maple Auction, it has been changed so that the default time to register items for sale is 48 hours.

    When entering the Other World’s Altar, the order of options has been changed.

    • The Dimensional Rift will now be displayed above the Past Leafre option.

    The Blacklist has been improved.

    • When you register another character in your blacklist, all of that person’s other characters within the same world will also be blacklisted.
    • The blacklist will now be shared within the same world.

    Certain boss content’s entry options have been unified and improved.

    • The entry options for Suu, Demian, Guardian Angel Slime, Lucid, Will, Dusk, Jin Hilla, Dunkel, Black Mage, Seren, and Watcher Kalos have been unified.
    • It has been improved so that it displays the number of remaining entries for your character, the remaining entry cooldown time, and the number of entry materials you currently have before entering these bosses.

    40 Slot Recipe Bags, 40 Slot Scroll Bags, and 40 Slot Title Wallet items have been added.

    In Monster Life, the maximum amount of Waru you can hold has been changed to 99,999,999.

    In Monster Life, the monster dismissal cutscene has been simplified.

    In Monster Life, an Auto Take Care feature has been added that takes care of all of your monsters at the same time. Auto Take Care consumes 1,000 Waru regardless of your farm level or the number of monsters.

    In Monster Life, a feature to immediately dismiss a monster after acquiring it has been added.

    In the Collector Shop, a feature to sell all Intense Power Crystals at once has been added.

    When you have a Cash weapon equipped, you can now choose between one-handed weapon motions, two-handed weapon motions, or gun motions. The option is available at the bottom of the ‘Equipment window > Cash tab’ and at the top of the ‘Cash Shop > preview’ window. The options that can be chosen and their conditions are as follows.

    • Default Weapon Motions: The original character’s weapon motions.
    • One-Handed Weapon Motions: This option can be chosen when you have equip a Cash weapon which can cover any weapon or a Cash Weapon that can cover one-handed swords.
    • Two-Handed Weapon Motions: This option can be chosen when you have equip a Cash weapon which can cover any weapon or a Cash Weapon that can cover two-handed axes.
    • Gun Weapon Motions: This option can be chosen when you have equip a Cash weapon which can cover any weapon or a Cash Weapon that can cover guns.
    • Actions Which Apply the Chosen Motions: Standing, walking, jumping, taking a breath.

    In the Cash Shop, you can now double click specific items in packages’ detailed view windows to preview them individually.

    Boss UI Reorganization

    The Boss UI has been reorganized into a new form. It is now a separate window from the existing Buddy, Party, and Blacklist UI with all of the features related to boss content.

    You can use the Boss UI to check if you can enter a boss, move to a boss’ map, and various features such as the Boss Party Recruitment Bulletin Board.

    The “Party & Boss” button in the Community menu at the bottom of the screen has been separated into “Party” and “Boss” buttons. You can use the reorganized Boss UI by clicking the Boss button or by pressing the existing Boss shortcut key.

    Ursus content has been removed from the reorganized Boss UI. You can now enter Ursus only through the Dimensional Mirror.

    Boss Party Recruitment Bulletin Board

    You can use the Boss Party Recruitment Bulletin Board through the Boss UI. You can select the boss and difficulty you want to recruit a party for, and if you want, set application conditions based on level, Mu Lung Dojo floor, Union level, Arcane Force level, and Authentic Force level.

    You can apply to join boss parties that are recruiting on the bulletin board. However, you must meet the prerequisites for the boss content such as required level and pre-quests. In addition, if there are any application conditions, you must meet those as well to apply.

    If the party leader accepts your application through the UI, you will instantly join the party.

    Party members and applicants can check each others’ character information. You can check characters’ level, Mu Lung Dojo floor, Union level, Arcane Force level, and Authentic Force level. For the Mu Lung Dojo floor, you can also see the refresh date.

    ※ Boss party recruitment posts can only be registered if you are the party leader or you are not in a party.

    ※ The recruitment time is limited to 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of being registered, the post will be deleted automatically.

    ※ If you are recruiting for a boss party or are applying to join one, the usage of certain content will be restricted. (Ursus, boss content, event content, cross world party quests, Monster Park, etc.)

    ※ If you use certain content during the boss party recruitment or while applying to join, the recruitment may be automatically completed or the application may be automatically cancelled.

    ※ The Mu Lung Dojo floor refresh date will only be applied if that floor was reached after the time of the patch.

    Intense Power Crystals

    The prices of Intense Power Crystals will be fixed after the changes on April 21 at 12:00 AM.


    Developer Notes:

    The Intense Power Crystal price change system will be paused. The price change system was first applied in the August 12, 2021 update to ensure that the Intense Power Crystals maintained appropriate values based on the boss difficulty.

    After the price change system was implemented, we observed things like the total amount of mesos generated through Intense Power Crystals, the ratio of total meso generation, and the number of times the bosses were defeated every week and we have decided that the current prices are appropriate.

    Although the price change system will be paused temporarily, we will continue to monitor various indicators to ensure that Intense Power Crystals maintain appropriate values.

    Developer Notes:

    The existing Kao-related stories had issues where there were inconsistencies and they could not capture various characters’ individuality.

    Therefore, in this update, we added the new <Kao’s Memories’ quests and reorganized the stories of Road of Vanishing, Limen, and Ellin Forest to improve the completeness of the Kao-related stories.

    The newly added <Kao’s Memories> are a story device that lets you check the paths that Kao walked in the past at major story junctions. We hope this will help increase the consistency of the story and help players understand it more easily.

    In addition, the changes in Ellin Forest, Road of Vanishing, and Limen’s stories are expected to enhance the identities of each job and make the Arcane River and Black Mage stories more charming.

    We will continue to make improvements so that we can provide better stories to our players.

    • [​IMG] Spirit Frenzy: The damage has been increased from 90% to 175%.
    • [​IMG] Spirit Bond Maximum: The feature where Spirit Frenzy’s final damage would be increased if used when the Guardian Spirit used Spirit Frenzy has been removed.
    • [​IMG] Spirit Focus: A feature where Spirit Frenzy’s final damage is increased by 750% when used one time while the Guardian Spirit is active during Spirit Focus has been added.

    Developer Notes:

    Eunwol could not activate their main skill, the enhanced Spirit Frenzy, when they wanted. We decided this was not appropriate for recent combat patterns, so we have removed the Spirit Frenzy buff from Spirit Bond Maximum. Instead, we have moved the effect to Spirit Focus to allow them to enhance Spirit Frenzy more freely.

    Demons

    • [​IMG][​IMG] Demon Booster: These skills have been changed to passive skills and renamed to Demon Acceleration.

    Demon Slayer

    • [​IMG] Demon Slash: You can now activate the next hit of the skill without pressing the skill key repeatedly. You can now continue with the 2nd/3rd/4th hits even if you do not attack for a certain period of time. This will apply to the enhanced Demon Slash during Demon Awakening as well.
    • [​IMG] Metamorphosis: The dark orbs’ attacks will no longer put the character in-combat.
    • [​IMG] Demon Impact: The effect output method when hitting monsters has been improved.
    • [​IMG] Demon Slash – Remain Time Reinforce: The duration has been increased from 4 seconds to 15 seconds.
    • [​IMG] Cerberus: The action has been changed. The action delay has been decreased by about 13%. The effect output method when hitting monsters has been improved.
    • [​IMG] Demon Bane: Demon Bane’s final damage is now increased by 90% if used during Demon Awakening.

    Developer Notes:

    Demon Slayer’s main skill Demon Bane could not synergize with Demon Awakening and Demon Dlash – Remain Time Reinforce.

    In this update, we increased the duration of Demon Slash – Remain Time Reinforce so that Demon Bane can continue to receive its effect and we also changed Demon Bane so that it deals more damage when used during Demon Awakening.

    In addition, we have improved the convenience of controlling Demon Slayer by improving the skills that needed to be inputted frequently, Demon Slash and Enhanced Demon Slash, to make them more comfortable.

    Blaster

    • [​IMG] Combination Training: This skill has been improved so that Combination Training can be stacked even when cancelling while in the air.
    • [​IMG] Shockwave Punch: The shockwave will now deal 220% increased damage when attacking normal monsters.

    Kaiser

    • [​IMG] Wingbeat: This skill has been changed so that it is only included in the limit on the number of times skills can be used without moving when it is first used.

    Cadena

    • [​IMG] Chain Arts: Tough Hustle: You will now be invincible for 2 seconds after using this skill. When the keydown ends, the invincibility effect will also end. This skill is no longer affected by cooldown resets.
    • [​IMG] Chain Arts: Takedown: The character can now move after binding the enemy. After using Takedown, a Batter attack will be activated with different power based on the number of additional Weapon Variety hits activated within 5 seconds. The Batter attack and shockwaves will be used at the location where the skill was first used. They will be activated even if the enemy is not bound. The invincibility effect has been removed.

    Developer Notes:

    Cadena’s Chain Arts: Takedown skill had low effectiveness because the character could not move around freely when using it, and although it had an invincibility effect, it was difficult to use it flexibly because of its long cooldown.

    Therefore, in this update, we have made several changes to skills to increase Takedown’s effectiveness and increase Cadena’s combat stability.

    First, Takedown’s invincibility effect has been moved to Tough Hustle. However, we inevitably had to change it so its cooldown could not be reset so it would not have excessive utility.

    Also, when Takedown is used, the character can now move around freely, and after using it, a final hit with different power will be activated based on the number of additional Weapon Variety hits that are activated within a certain period of time.

    The Batter attack will happen even if you don’t bind an enemy, so you can use Takedown as an attacking skill even when you don’t need to or can’t bind the enemy.

    Illium

    • [​IMG][​IMG] Craft: Orb/Craft: Orb II: The action delay when linked has been decreased by about 6%. The action delay when not linked has been decreased by about 8%.
    • [​IMG][​IMG] Craft: Javelin/Craft: Javelin II: The action delay when linked has been decreased by about 6%. The action delay when not linked has been decreased by about 8%.
    • [​IMG] Crystal Charge: This skill has been changed so that when the Crystal Charge reaches 30, 60, and 90, the excess charge amount will be preserved.
    • [​IMG] Divine Shield: Bless Marks are no longer consumed when this skill is activated. The 100% Stance applied when this skill is activated has been removed.
    • [​IMG][​IMG] Curse Mark Mastery/Curse Mark Completion: The number of Curse Marks that can be stacked have been changed to 3/5 regardless of the skill level.
    • [​IMG] Glory Wings: Javelin: Fixed an issue where if Glory Wings: Javelin hit an enemy, sometimes Magic Missiles would not be fired.
    • [​IMG] Glory Wings: Mortal Wingbeat: This skill has been changed so that the Curse Marks are stacked up to the maximum on enemies hit.
    • [​IMG] Glory Wings: Harmony Wingbeat: The creation distance has been increased by about 20%.
    • [​IMG] Gram Holder: The enemy search range has been increased by about 579%.
    • [​IMG] Soul of Crystal: A feature has been added where you can use this skill with the down arrow key to consume all of your Crystal Pieces to create multiple Soul Crystals at once.

    Developer Notes:

    Illium has a skill structure where they accumulate Crystal stacks, use skills in stages based on the accumulated stacks, and then finally activate Glory Wings to unleash powerful attacks. However, due to various problems, the structure did not give as much feedback as we intended, so we would like to correct them.

    First, we fixed the problem where the excess amount of charge would be lost when Crystal Charge reached certain levels to improve it so that the Crystal Charge can be accumulated in the intended cycle.

    In addition, when Mortal Wingbeat is used in Glory Wings mode, we have added a feature where it stacks the maximum number of Curse Marks on enemies hit so that even after Glory Wings is activated, you can consistently apply the maximum number of Curse Marks.

    Also, Harmony Wingbeat’s creation range was shorter than Glory Wings: Javelin’s range, so there was a problem where Harmony Wingbeat would not activate even if Javelin hit an enemy which we have improved.

    Finally, after carefully examining reports sent by many players, we found a problem where magic missiles sometimes did not fire when using Glory Wings: Javelin and have corrected it.

    In addition to the above structural improvements related to using Crystal stacks-Glory Wings, we have made several additional improvements.

    In the last update, we fixed Gram Holder’s attack direction setting logic. However, we found a problem where far away boss monsters would not be recognized as attack targets because Gram Holder’s enemy search range was too short, so we have greatly increased it.

    Also, we wanted to improve combat convenience by ading the ability to install multiple Souls of Crystal at the same time.

    Lara

    • [​IMG] Eruption: Swelling River: The damage has been increased from 215% to 260%.
    • [​IMG] Eruption: Whirlwind: The damage has been increased from 63% to 90%.
    • [​IMG] Eruption: Sunrise Well: The giant’s damage has been increased from 120% to 145%. The lava’s damage has been increased from 85% to 110%. The volcanic bomb’s damage has been increased from 75% to 95%.
    • [​IMG] Expression: Where the River Flows: This skill is no longer affected by skill effect transparency.
    • [​IMG] Expression: Wind Swing: You can now float through the middle part of the skill even while you are in the air. The middle area has been increased by 205%.
    • [​IMG] Absorption: River Puddle Drench: The damage has been decreased from 590% to 440%. The number of hits has been increased from 6 to 10.

    Developer Notes:

    Lara’s Absorption skills are easier to hit than Eruption skills, but they have slightly lower damage. Therefore, in situations where you could hit all of the Eruption skills, you would actively use them as much as possible but if not, it was better to choose whether to Aborb or Erupt the Dragon Veins, which was the intended optimal playstyle.

    However, there was a problem where Sunlight Sprout’s damage was too high compared to the other Absorption skills, so there was no choice between Absorption and Eruption of the Dragon Veins based on the situation.

    Therefore, in this update, we have adjusted the three Absorption skills to have similar effectiveness so that you can flexibly choose between Eruption and Absorption based on the situation.

    In this process, we inevitably had to slightly lower Sunlight Sprout’s damage when multiple fireballs hit a single enemy. However, since the damage of other skills has been increased, we expect the overall performance to be improved.

    We also discovered that cooldown reset effects applied to Absorption skills, which made their effectiveness higher than we intended. As mentioned earlier, Lara’s intentional playstyle is to choose and activate Absorption and Eruption skills based on the situation. However, since many players have used this effect recently, we want to keep it as an option without any additional changes.

    The ‘Yeonwoo’s Worry’ quest has been improved so that after it is completed, it will guide you to Kerning City Back Alley for a more efficient route to the next quest.
