    A new test world update was released, and the main thing in this patch is a reorganization of the Boss UI as well as the addition of the Boss Automatic Matching system.

    Boss UI Reorganization

    The Boss UI has been separated into 3 tabs: Boss Teleport, Party Recruitment, and Clear Status.

    • In the Boss Move tab, you can see each boss’ remaining entry counts. You can also see the pre-requisite conditions. You can use the Boss Move tab to move to a boss’ entry map if you have fulfilled the pre-requisite conditions.
    • In the Party Recruitment tab, you can see all of the boss party recruitment posts. You can search through all of the posts by filtering for specific bosses, difficulties, party leaders, and descriptions.
    • In the Clear Status tab, you can see the bosses you have already cleared at a quick glance. There is one tab for weekly/monthly bosses and one tab for daily bosses.

    You can now access the Boss UI through the Party UI by clicking on the Boss button.

    The Boss Automatic Matching feature has been added.

    • You can now apply for Automatic Matching through the Boss UI to find boss parties. You can use this feature by clicking the Automatic Matching button at the top right of the UI.
    • You can apply for matching after choosing up to 5 bosses you want to fight. You will be matched up with a party for one of the bosses you chose. You will be matched more quickly to the boss that you have the highest chance to clear.
    • When all of the matched players have accepted, the matching will be complete and you will be moved to the corresponding boss entry map.
    • Certain actions will be restricted during Boss Automatic Matching.

    Convenience Improvements

    The Monster Park Extreme Automatic Party Finder feature has been added.

    • You can use the Automatic Party Finder feature through the Monster Park Extreme entry portal.
    • When you use the feature, you will be matched with 4 players of a similar level. When all of the matched players have accepted, you will be moved to the same channel.

    In Hungry Muto, an Exit button has been added.

    The Link Skill UI has been changed so that the ‘Other Characters’ Link Skills’ list is displayed in alphabetical order.

    Cygnus’ entry maps have been unified into one.

    • In the unified entry map, you can choose to enter Easy or Normal Mode.
    • Easy Cygnus’ minimum entry level has been changed to level 165. You must now complete the ‘[Knights’ Stronghold] Alex’s Promise’ quest to enter. However, if you have a character in the same world that has completed the quest, you can enter without having to do that quest again.

    Magnus’ entry maps have been unified into one.

    • In the unified entry map, you can choose to enter Easy, Normal or Hard Mode.
    • Easy Magnus’ entry pre-requisite quests have been changed as follows. However, if you have a character in the same world that has completed the quest, you can enter without having to do that quest again.

    • The ‘[Easy Magnus] Magnus Simulation Battle’ quest has been removed.

    In the Maple Auction, you can now preview cosmetic items.

    • After searching for a desired item, you can click the Preview button to open the Preview window.
    • You can check Decoration items, pets, chairs, and certain hair/face items.
    • Items that can result in multiple types of equipped images, such as Maple Royal Style, Royal Face Coupon, Royal Hair Coupon, Karta’s Pearl, and Skin Care Coupon, cannot be previewed.
    • The Preview history will be reset when you exit the game.

    In the Maple Auction, to prevent mistakes when searching, the Star Force Enhancement values will no longer be applied to the detailed filter’s AND/OR conditions. They have been changed so that you can specify the minimum/maximum values separately.

    In the menu when moving Cash items within the world, the characters’ names and jobs will now be displayed together, and the font thickness has been adjusted to improve readability.

    You can now register and use Link Management through a quickslot.

    Common

    • [​IMG] Maple World Goddess’ Blessing: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.
    • [​IMG] Ready to Die: The 1st stage has been removed. When you use the skill, you will now instantly receive the 2nd stage’s effects. The skill has been improved so that it is not instantly cancelled when pressed repeatedly.

    Hero

    • Hero’s weapon multiplier when using a one-handed axe has been increased from 1.3 to 1.34.
    • [​IMG] Sword of Burning Soul: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.

    Developer Notes:

    In the June 17, 2021 update, we increased Hero and Paladin’s one-handed weapon multipliers to improve their merits. However, in the process, we unintentionally increased the ‘one-handed sword’ weapon multiplier for all jobs and did not change Hero and Paladin’s ‘one-handed axe’/’one-handed blunt weapon’ multipliers at all.

    Because of this change, Soul Master and Mikhail’s weapon multipliers were also unintentionally increased from 1.2 to 1.24, but this has been in the game for a long time so we will increase Hero and Paladin’s missed weapon multipliers to match without making any additional adjustments.

    In the future, we will do our best to do more meticulous checks to ensure that mistakes like this do not occur.

    Paladin

    • Paladin’s weapon multiplier when using a one-handed blunt weapon has been increased from 1.3 to 1.34.
    • [​IMG] Divine Charge: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.
    • [​IMG] Divine Stigma: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.

    Bishop

    • [​IMG] Heal: This skill has been improved so that it does not activate Special Cores.

    • [​IMG] Enhance Arrow: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.
    • [​IMG] Bullseye: The duration has been increased from 20 seconds to 40 seconds. The cooldown has been increased from 60 seconds to 120 seconds.

    Pathfinder

    • [​IMG] Ancient Guidance: The Relic Gauge required to activate this skill has been decreased from 1000 to 500.
    • [​IMG] Ancient Astra: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.

    Dual Blade

    • [​IMG] Flash Bang: The cooldown has been decreased from 60 seconds to 30 seconds. The duration has been increased from 50 seconds to 60 seconds. This skill has been improved so that the duration is not decreased on boss monsters.

    Captain

    • [​IMG] Deadeye: This skill will now prioritize aiming at the boss monster with the highest maximum HP. Once the skill has aimed at an enemy, it will no longer cancel unless a new monster with higher priority appears within range.

    Flame Wizard

    • [​IMG] Fire Walk: This skill now passively increases speed and jump by 20.

    • [​IMG] Soul Agility: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.

    Mercedes

    • [​IMG] Legendary Spear: The defense reduction duration has been increased from 30 seconds to 60 seconds. The duration has been changed to be constant at all skill levels. The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.
    • [​IMG] Lightning Edge: The debuff duration has been increased from 30 seconds to 60 seconds. The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.

    • [​IMG] Bomb Punch: The damage boost when attacking normal monsters has been changed from 85% to 255%p.

    Wild Hunter

    • [​IMG] Beast Form: This skill will no longer be affected by cooldown resets.

    Mechanic

    • [​IMG] Homing Missile: The skill usage logic has been changed. You can now use other skills or move while holding down Homing Missile. The hit limit when using the skill a certain amount of times without moving has been enhanced.
    • [​IMG] Open Gate: GX-9: This skill has been improved so that summon duration increasing effects now apply to it.
    • [​IMG] Robot Launcher: RM7: The duration has been increased from 60 seconds to 70 seconds. This skill has been improved so that the summons are no longer removed if the character moves a certain distance away in the same map after installing the skill.
    • [​IMG] Massive Fire: IRON: This skill has been changed to search for an enemy to attack within a certain range then fire a shell at that enemy which pierces through other enemies in its path.
    • [​IMG] Support Waver: H-EX: This skill has been improved so that the summons are no longer removed if the character moves a certain distance away in the same map after installing the skill.
    • [​IMG] Magnetic Field: This skill has been improved so that summon duration increasing effects now apply to it. The duration has been decreased from 80 seconds to 70 seconds. The cooldown has been decreased from 160 seconds to 80 seconds.
    • [​IMG] Massive Fire: IRON-B: This skill has been changed to search for an enemy to attack within a certain range then fire a shell at that enemy which pierces through other enemies in its path.
    • [​IMG] War Machine: Titan: The duration that you are locked in place has been decreased by about 44%. The invincibility duration has been decreased by about 21%. This skill will no longer be affected by cooldown resets.
    • [​IMG] Robot Factory: RM1: The duration has been increased from 60 seconds to 70 seconds.

    Developer Notes:

    In the August 25 update, to increase ‘Massive Fire: IRON’ and ‘Massive Fire: IRON-B’s usability, we changed the shells to pierce through enemies. However, during this change, the attack range and attack method unintentionally became significantly different than before, and in order to quickly solve this inconvenience for players, we temporarily changed the attack range to be higher than before in the September 8 minor patch.

    In this update, we have changed IRON and IRON-B’s attack method and range so that the piercing attack we added in the August 25 update will work as intended.

    Also, in the August 25 update, we changed ‘Homing Missile’ so that it could be used while holding the skill key down, but it could not be used while moving or with other skills so it wasn’t a sufficient improvement.

    In this update, we have changed ‘Homing Missile’s overall operation method so that you can move while holding the skill key down, and you can also use it with other skills.

    Due to this change, the previous operation of repeatedly pressing Homing Missile while holding another skill key down can no longer be used, but you can instead do so by holding down Homing Missile first then holding down other skills to activate them at the same time. We expect that this will provide a better usage experience.

    In addition, we added an invincibility effect to ‘War Machine: Titan’ in the August 25 update, but we decided that it was difficult to use properly because the duration that you were locked in place was excessively long. We have reduced the skill’s locked in place duration, and inevitably the invincibility duration slightly so that the invincibility uptime does not become too high, and we have changed it so that cooldown reset effects are no longer applied. We ask for your understanding.

    Finally, as a result of monitoring gameplay data, we confirmed that players preferred to manage the various summons in the same cycle, so we have adjusted the durations and cooldowns of the summons as a whole to ensure that gameplay is smoother. Also, it has been improved so that summon duration increasing effects now apply to all summons 4th job and below.

    Cadena

    • [​IMG] Summon Throwing Wing Dagger: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.

    Angelic Buster

    Zero

    • [​IMG] Burst Step: The action dela has been decreased by about 20%. The method of searching for platforms when used in the air to the left/right has been improved.

    Developer Notes:

    In the August 25 update, we changed ‘Burst Step’ to a teleport skill instead of a rush skill and kept the overall action delay the same, but there was an issue where the action delay when moving was shortened and the action delay after finishing the movement was increased.

    Due to this, we confirmed issues where linking to other skills after moving felt more cumbersome than before, and where using the skill to the left/right while in the air had different character arrival locations than before.

    In this update, we slightly decreased ‘Burst Step’s overall action delay to remove the unintentional action delay increase after moving in the August 25 update and make it the same as before the update.

    In addition, when using ‘Burst Step’ to the left/right while in the air, the method of searching for platforms has been reorganized to minimize the change in experience from when the skill was changed from a rush skill to a teleport skill.

    Ark

    • [​IMG] Magic Circuit: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.
    • [​IMG] Brilliant Restraint: The cooldown has been decreased from 180 seconds to 120 seconds.
    • [​IMG] Fusion Completion: The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.
    • [​IMG] Abyssal Recall: The continuous attack’s damage has been increased from 435% to 700%. The explosion damage has been increased from 1444% to 1450% (at level 25).
    • [​IMG] Infinity Spell: The formula for the duration per skill level has been changed.

    Developer Notes:

    In the August 25 update, we adjusted Abyssal Recall’s duration, damage, and cooldown, but we confirmed that the values were significantly lower than we intended and so we have adjusted them as needed.
    Quests


    Fixed an error in the Odium ‘Contaminated Researcher’ quest where some of Karing’s illustrations were displayed incorrectly.

    A detailed description has been added to the ‘Sand Shadow and Red Scorpion’ quest chain.

    A detailed description about the weapon liberation conditions has been added to the ‘[Genesis Weapon] Liberation of Power, First’ quest.

    The ‘[Root Abyss] Guardian of the World Tree’ quest has been improved to be accessed through the lightbulb.

    Items


    Untradeable Android items have changed so that they can be put into storage and traded to your other characters in the same world.

    The cross world party quest Traces of the Goddess stage 1 has been improved so that each box drops 4 LP items. However, each player can only have 1 of each time of LP.

    NPCs


    It has been improved so that you can only talk to Pet Trail’s Ner and Frod when you are within a certain distance of them.

    Lith Harbor’s NPC Jane’s dialogue has been changed.

    Monsters


    Black Mage (Hard/Extreme)’s Curses of Creation and Destruction have been improved so that they are displayed in front of certain skill effects.

    When using the Monster Park Shuttle, you will now be moved instantly after accepting without extra dialogue.

    Union related NPCs (Dragon Hunter Ms. Account and Lieutenant Mr. Poncho) have been added to Esfera.

    UI


    Fixed an issue where if you entered the Cash Shop or Auction after changing the external chat window’s location, the location settings would be reset.

    The expanded guild UI has been improved to display your contribution for the day.

    The Union UI has been improved so that you can use the mousewheel to scroll through the list of characters.

    When an Account Buddy logs in as offline, they will now be displayed as a red dot in the minimap.

    The Seed


    When entering the Seed 5/15/25/35/45F, there will now be a chance to activate a Lie Detector.

    • If you answer the Lie Detector incorrectly 3 times in a row, it will be considered a failure and you will receive rewards based on leaving that floor’s shelter.
    • Depending on the number of accumulated failures, you will be restricted from entering the Seed for a certain period of time.

    Common

    • Flying skills’ descriptions have been changed to be more accurate.

    Archers

    • Fixed an issue where if an archer that learned Soul Arrow had bow arrows in their inventory, they would not be displayed as being equipped.
    • Fixed an issue where if an archer that learned Soul Arrow had arrows with a higher attack but they were not placed at the top of the inventory, the damage range was displayed incorrectly.

    Anima

    • Fixed an issue where Lotus Flower could be destroyed by monsters’ attacks.

    Hero

    • Fixed an issue where sometimes Chance Attack did not apply to enemies with Scarring Sword applied to them.

    Archmage (F/P)

    • Fixed an issue where Poison Region’s poison area was created prioritizing the left side of the poison magic circle.
    • Fixed an issue where after defeating an enemy with Poison Chain’s first attack, if there were no nearby enemies to spread the poison to, a crystal would not be created and Poison Chain would end.

    Bowmaster

    • Fixed an issue where Armor Piercing’s effect was not applied to Arrow Platter when used directly.
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes Final Attack did not activate on Arrow Platter when used directly.

    Shadower

    • Fixed an issue in Pink Bean (Normal/Chaos) where attacking the statues with Steal active would cause the potions to drop in awkward locations.

    Viper

    • Fixed an issue where Serpent Screw’s skill effect was not visible to other characters.

    Soul Master

    • Fixed an issue where Cosmos’ skill effect was not visible to other characters.

    Night Walker

    • Fixed an issue where Shadow Stitch appeared to be usable at the same time as jumping.

    • Fixed an issue where if linking Beyonder’s 1st hit and 2nd hit failed, linking the 3rd hit and Fenrir Crash would also fail.

    • Fixed an issue where using Foxtrot and Spirit Claw repeatedly would sometimes cause the connection to the game to end.

    • Fixed an issue where the Jaguars summoned by Jaguar Storm would fall repeatedly if the platform disappeared.

    • Fixed an issue where Massive Fire: IRON-B’s additional explosion location was awkward.
    • Fixed an issue where Massive Fire: IRON-B’s additional explosion effect did not appear when there were no monsters.

    • Fixed an issue where if using Will of Swords: Charge failed, the message was displayed excessively.

    • Fixed an issue where the Dark Sight activated by Weapon Variety III did not avoid Magnus’ paralyzing gas.
    • Fixed an issue where A.D Ordnance’s damage was not applied properly while in Dark Sight.

    Angelic Buster

    • Fixed an issue where Soul Resonance did not attract monsters. THe skill description has been changed to be more accurate.

    Zero

    • Fixed an isssue where Burst Step could pass through certain impassable terrain.
    • Fixed an issue where Burst Step could be ussed at the end of certain maps to pass sthrough terrain or the skill effect would be displayed awkwardly.
    • Fixed an issue where using Joint Attack and Limit Break at the same time would sometimes cause the connection to the game to end.

    Kinesis

    • Fixed an issue where Ultimate – B.P.M was saved even if you did not use a Buff Freezer after dying.
    • Fixed an issue where Ultimate – Moving Matter’s skill description and skill icon were displayed awkwardly in the V Matrix.

    The medal quest ‘Diligent Adventurer’ hass been changed to more clearly display which content is not included in the cumulative gameplay time.

    Fixed an issue with the medal quest ‘Celebrity!’ where the fame increase gauge displayed 0%.

    Fixed an error with the ‘[Moonbridge] Idea’s Investivation 1’ quest where the screen did not move after completing it.

    Fixed an error with the ‘[Kinesis] Yuna in Danger 2’ quest where it progressed abnormally.

    Fixed an error with the ‘[FriendStory] Demian, Who Are You?’ quest where Elwin’s image was awkward.

    • Fixed an issue where the Watcher’s Roar usage cycle would be pushed back irregularly if Zero’s Critical Bind, bind skills that increased the duration based on their damage, or skills that applied debuffs other than binds were used.

    • Fixed an issue where if the Watcher’s Roar was used at the same time as when the Teleport was activated, you would be teleported without any action after the Roar ended.
    • Fixed an issue where if the Watcher’s Roar was used during an attack pattern, the attack action would be cancelled but the damage would be dealt.
    • Fixed an issue where the Watcher’s Berserk Entry point was not accurate.
    • Fixed an issue where the HP was not displayed correctly if the Watcher’s Berserk Entry was activated while Eunwol’s Soul Splitter was applied.
    • Fixed an issue where the flames created by the Watcher’s Rage when it used Watcher’s Berserk Entry would disappear but the damage would still be dealt at that location.
    • Fixed an issue where after the Watcher’s Berserk ended, sometimes it would be groggy at a different location.
    • Fixed an issue where if the NPC Chat/Harvest key was registered on a Korean keyboard, sometimes you could not use Kalos’ Altar.
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes you would be hit 2 times by the explosions activating in the map.

    Fixed an issue where if certain monsters were hit, their level was not displayed in front of the monster name.

    Fixed an issue in Kerning Tower where certain Star Force monsters’ sound effects were not played.

    Fixed an error with the Great Flame Spirit’s attack settings. The number of hits has been adjusted to match the action, the damage of the short cycle attacks has been decreased, and the damage of the long cycle attacks shas been increased.

    Fixed an issue in Monster Park’s Another World Battlefield where the background images appeared awkwardly.

    Fixed an issue in Mirror World ‘Ariant Palace Garden’ map where certain parts were displayed awkwardly.

    Fixed an issssue in Odium ‘Sunlit Laboratory’ where using certain ropes would make you land incorrectly on the platforms below.

    Fixed an issue in ‘Outlaw Infested Wastes 1/2’ maps where if a character climbed on a rope at the bottom of the map, the character’s name would appear to be cut off.

    Fixed an issue in ‘Mysterious Fog 1’ where you could climb on invisible ladders.

    Fixed an issue in ‘Train with No Destination 1’ where certain backgrounds were cut off in 800×600 resolution.

    Fixed an issue in Flag Race ‘Noon Snow Field’ where certain terrain appeared to be cut off.

    Fixed an issue in ‘Spirit Saviour’ where if you jumped down in certain terrain, the jump action would be displayed but you would not be moved to the platform below.

    Fixed an error in ‘Shinsoo International School Old Building: Classroom’ where the NPCs Street Cat and Ericson’s descriptions overlapped.

    Fixed an error in ‘Shinsoo International School: 2F Classroom’ where the NPCs Cassandra’s Fan and Cassandra’s descriptions overlapped.

    Fixed an issue in the Zero weapon UI where expiring items’ clock icons were displayed in an awkward location.

    Fixed the issues where if you used the chat timestamp display option and external chat, you could not use the whisper button on smegas and where the internal chat’s indentation was awkward when a line break occurred.

    Fixed an issue in Monster Life where if you used the chat timestamp display option, it would overlap with the chat messages.

    Monster Life’s chat window’s scrollbar position has been adjusted. Fixed an issue where if you adjusted the size of the chat window, the scroll button would not be displayed.

    Fixed an issue in Maple Auction where if you were selling an equipment item, it would incorrectly display the warning window stating that you were selling at a price lower than the market price.

    Fixed a typo in the guild position change guide text.

    Fixed an issue in the 1920×1080 (beta) resolution where Damage Skins would not be displayed correctly when using the ‘Basic Damage’ option.
