    A small test server patch was released yesterday, one week in advance of Khali’s official release. It has Khali’s beginning town Erimos as well as her story and a few skill changes.

    Overview

    New Job <The Wind of Revenge, Khali>

    Information

    Khali is a priest of Grandis’ High Lef race. Due to her deep respect for her benevolent Lord, Khali and her twin sister entered the Lord’s selection test to become members of his personal guard.

    She can engage in free combat by linking together melee attacks using the Chakrams with quick movement skills, and use powerful techniques that resonate with the Chakri created during battle.

    The Hyper and 5th job skills now require you to have the Chakram and Hex Seeker equipped.

    Spine effects have been added to Khali’s creation illustration.

    Khali’s creation screen effects have been improved.

    Fixed an issue with Khali’s creation screen where the default hair and face colours were awkward.

    The Epsilon Guard Headdress’ item name has been changed to Khali’s Headdress.

    The maximum number of characters that can be created has been increased from 48 to 49.

    1st Job

    • [​IMG] Spark: Fixed an issue where using the skill upwards would not consume MP.
    2nd Job

    • [​IMG] Insanity I: The time that it takes to stop moving with the jump key has been decreased by 40%. Fixed an issue where if you attacked a big monster with a hit range that was bigger than the attack range, it would not hit.
    • [​IMG] Impulse: The critical rate boost has been increased from 30% to 35%.
    3rd Job

    • [​IMG] Summon Chakri: This skill has been improved so that the number of Chakri available is displayed in the buff icon as well. Fixed an issue where you could use the skill without learning the pre-requisite skill. Fixed an issue where using Hex skills without learning Summon Chakri would consume 2x MP.
    • [​IMG] Insanity II: The time that it takes to stop moving with the jump key has been decreased by 40%. Fixed an issue where if you attacked a big monster with a hit range that was bigger than the attack range, it would not hit. The skill description has been changed to be more accurate.
    • [​IMG] Deceiving Blade: Fixed an issue where the re-activation cooldown was longer than displayed.
    • [​IMG] Intuition: This skill now increases defense ignored by 20%.
    4th Job

    • [​IMG] Arts: Flurry: The damage has been increased from 265% to 290%.
    • [​IMG] Hex: Chakram Split: The damage has been decreased from 270% to 245%.
    • [​IMG] Hex: Chakram Fury: The damage has been increased from 450% to 550%. Fixed an issue where this skill could not be cancelled with Void Blitz. Fixed an issue where if you pressed Void Rush repeatedly while casting this skill, more than 2 Summon Chakri would be created due to the skill cancellation.
    • [​IMG] Desert Veil: This skill is no longer affected by skill effect transparency.
    • [​IMG] Insanity III: The damage has been increased from 180% to 210%. The damage boost when attacking normal monsters has been increased from 270%p to 350%p. The time that it takes to stop moving with the jump key has been decreased by 40%. Fixed an issue where if you attacked a big monster with a hit range that was bigger than the attack range, it would not hit.
    • [​IMG] Redemption: The skill description has been changed.
    5th Job

    • [​IMG] Void Burst: The Wind of Revenge’s maximum duration has been decreased from 5 seconds to 4.3 seconds. You will now be in-combat when you cast this skill.

    Improvements

    Skills


    Certain summon skills have been improved so that they are no longer cancelled after exiting Chicken Dance, Eagle Hunting, and Totem Slash.

    Alleviated an issue with certain skills where the first time casting them after logging in, the client would slow down. The affected skills are as follows.

    • Night Walker: [​IMG] Dominion, [​IMG] Rapid Throw
    • Flame Wizard: [​IMG] Cataclysm

    Lara

    • [​IMG] Dragon Vein Traces: This skill has been changed back to its previous specifications from before the December 22 update.

    Developer’s Notes:

    In the December 22 update, we changed Dragon Vein Traces’ logic to that Lara would have more stable combat.

    However, as a result of carefully checking players’ feedback and combat logs over the past month, we confirmed that there was no major change in combat stability and it caused unintended inconvenience to players who were already used to the existing method, so we have reverted the changes.

    Quests


    The ‘[Ellin Forest] Letter to my Wife’ quest’s completion reward item Testonen’s Letter has been improved so that it can be dropped in maps.

    When you start the ‘[Ellin Forest] History Doesn’t Change’ quest and you don’t have Testonen’s Letter, it has been improved so that the item will be reissued to you.

    The Sunday Maple logo on the server selection screen and the login pop-up UI have been changed.

    To make it easier to check which effects, titles, chairs, and pets are currently being used by your character, an ‘Equipped’ icon will now be displayed on the top right corner of the items being used in your inventory and bags.

    The Union attacker effects and attacker occupation effects have been improved so that they are sorted and displayed based on each effect.

    The Private Login setting has been improved so that it is maintained until the client is closed.

    Error Fixes

    Skills


    Fixed an issue where skill cooldowns did not apply if you changed maps while harvesting.

    Fixed an issue with the following skills where the buff icons did not disappear when entering content where all buffs were reset.

    Fixed an issue where Decent Advanced Bless from item potential and from V Cores could be used together to stack the max HP/MP effects.

    Dark Knight

    • Fixed an issue with Cross Over Chains where if the skill’s buff duration ended or it was cancelled, certain effects would still be applied temporarily.
    • Reincarnation’s skill description has been changed to be more accurate.
    • Fixed an issue where if Reincarnation activated while you were petrified, the petrify status would not be cancelled normally and you could die after activating Reincarnation.

    Bishop

    • Fixed an issue where Angelic Touch only decreased magic defense.

    Developer’s Notes:

    Before the Adventurer Remaster, Bishop’s Big Bang and Angel Ray decreased both physical and magic defense rate of monsters, but we discovered that during the Remaster, we unintentionally omitted the physical defense reduction when changing these effects to Angelic Touch.

    Pathfinder

    • Fixed an issue where Cardinal Discharge sometimes did not properly charge the Relic Gauge.

    Cannon Shooter

    • Fixed an issue where Pool Maker’s bombardments sometimes did not find enemies properly.

    Flame Wizard

    • Fixed an issue where Fire Walk’s skill sound effect was played twice.

    Striker

    • Fixed an issue where if Arc Charger was registered in a skill macro and used, it could not be deactivated.

    Night Walker

    • Fixed an issue where Shadow Bats’ location and range could be awkward after the first bounce.
    • [​IMG] Ravenous Bats’ skill icon has been changed to match the skill icon.

    Mikhail

    • Fixed an issue where 4th job Mikhail and Soul Masters placed as Union attackers would not use attacking skills.
    • Fixed an issue where if you died while using Soul Link, if you used a Buff Freezer to resurrect after a certain amount of time, Soul Link would not be saved.
    • Fixed an issue where if you cancelled Soul Link by right-clicking it, the buff icon for party members who were receiving its effects would not be removed.
    • Fixed an issue where if Pierre (Normal/Chaos) placed a hat on you while Sword of Soul Light was active, Sword of Soul Light’s effect would be removed.

    Evan

    • Fixed an issue where Swift of Thunder’s skill sounds and skill voices overlapped.
    • Fixed an issue where certain effects of Dragon Master did not apply skill effect transparency settings.
    • Fixed an issue where if you used Break – Return! while casting Imperial Breath, other characters would continue to see Mir casting Imperial Breath.
    • Fixed an issue where Zodiac Ray’s magic power charging effect was not displayed.

    Mercedes

    • Fixed an issue where Elemental Ghost’s second and third afterimages would appear regardless of whether or not the previous afterimages were activated.
    • You can no longer use the Sylvidia riding skill while using the 5th job Sylvidia skill.

    Developer’s Notes:

    Mercedes’ Elemental Ghost’s afterimages are designed so that after one is activated, there is a certain chance for the next one to appear. However, after the December 22 update, we confirmed that each afterimage appeared regardless of whether or not the previous afterimage was activated,

    Demon

    • Fixed an issue where if a Demon landed on the ground while gliding, sometimes it would appear to continue to glide to other characters.

    Demon Avenger

    • If you sit on a chair while Demon Frenzy is activated, it will now be deactivated.

    Mechanic

    • Fixed an issue where if Distortion Field was used while in the air, the skill effect was outputted awkwardly.

    Blaster

    • Fixed an issue where some Charge skills consumed MP 2 times when used without charging.

    Kaiser

    • Fixed an issue where Guardian of Nova’s summoned 6th and 15th Kaisers could not track certain monsters.

    Kain

    • If Kain uses Blink while using Grappling Wire, Grappling Wire will now be cancelled.

    Angelic Buster

    • Fixed an issue where if you used Soul Resonance while Grandis Goddess’ Blessing was active, the cooldown reset effect would be deducted 2 times.
    • Fixed an issue where Energy Burst’s unknown power charge effect was not outputted.

    Zero

    • Fixed an issue where if another character’s debuff effect was activated on a monster with Divine Leer’s debuff applied, the debuff sound would be outputted.
    • Shadow Flash has been changed so that you can no longer create the holy areas at locations where the character cannot move to.
    • Fixed an issue where if Throwing Weapon was used as a tag during Transcendent of Time’s Blessing, the afterimage’s Throwing Weapon used would display a Long Sword.

    Kinesis

    • Fixed an issue where if Psychic Ground’s debuff was reapplied just as it disappeared, the debuff effect would not be outputted.
    • Fixed an issue where sometimes Psychic Tornado’s object throwing cast action would not be visible to other characters.

    Fixed an issue where the Gemstone Imp item pot would sometimes change to an abnormal state when entering the Maple Auction.

    Fixed an issue where the character’s actions were awkward when sitting on the Pink Bean Snowball Fight Chair or Yeti Snowball Fight Chair.

    Luminous’ Orb and Cannon Shooter’s Monkey will no longer be visible when sitting on the Pink Bean Snowball Fight Chair or Yeti Snowball Fight Chair.

    Fixed an issue where the game would close if you clicked on or dropped a time-limited item that sometimes appeared to remain in your inventory.

    The Stance Shift Ring’s tooltip item description has been changed.

    The Character Slot Expansion Coupon tooltip item description has been changed.

    Fixed an issue where the ‘A’ letter was missing from the Winter Steamed Bun Action Damage Skin icon.

    Fixed an issue where if you used Cubes on certain jobs’ Emblems, sometimes the ‘A new quest has arrived’ sound and message would be activated repeatedly.

    Fixed an issue with the Blood Oath, Light of Dawn, Labyrinth’s Haze, Messenger of the Stars, and the Nightmare Pearl weapons where the effects would not appear for certain actions.

    Fixed an issue with Caoong (Normal) where sometimes it would appear to be outside the spaceship.

    Fixed an issue with Suu (Normal/Hard) where sometimes it would disappear.

    Fixed an issue with Guardian Angel Slime (Normal/Chaos) where sometimes the Guardian Wave would pass through Crystal Droplets without colliding with them.

    Fixed an issue with Guardian Angel Slime (Normal/Chaos) where if the Guardian Wave pattern started immediately after it cast its teleport, it would suddenly teleport after the Groggy phase ended.

    Fixed an issue with Jin Hilla (Normal/Hard) where sometimes it would disappear.

    Fixed an issue with Dunkel (Normal/Hard) where sometimes it would suddenly face the opposite direction immediately after attacking.

    Fixed an issue with Watcher Kalos (Chaos) where sometimes it would slide when using Watcher’s Roar.

    Fixed an issue with Watcher Kalos (Chaos) where sometimes it would take no actions while spinning.

    Fixed an issue in ‘Shining Forest’s Passage’ and ‘Where the Shining Forest Begins’ where the terrain and features were awkward.

    Fixed an issue in Mirror World’s Ariant where you could enter the Palace without touching the portal.

    Fixed an issue in ‘Toy Factory <Machine Room> where the boxes were floating in the air.

    Fixed an issue in ‘Midnight Chaser’ where you could use certain movement skills to go to another room without using the portals.

    Fixed an issue in ‘Monster Park Sellas Stage 5: Star Swallowed Sea’ where using certain platforms would make you fall down.

    Fixed an issue in ‘The Seed 36F’ where the message would not appear sometimes when hitting a monster.

    UI


    Fixed an issue where if you moved to the Ursus exit map while the Link Skill Preset UI was open, the client would close.

    Fixed an issue where if you visited another character’s farm, the External Chat Window location would be reset.

    Fixed an issue where if you opened the Graphics Quality detailed settings window, the help tooltip would appear briefly then disappear.

    Fixed an issue where if an Experience Coupon item’s effect ended at the same time that certain other buff skills ended, the notification message would not be displayed.

    In the Guild UI, when sorting guild members by level, job, position, and contribution, if the values are the same, they will now be sorted by character name.

    The Skill Alarm feature has been changed so that if 5th job skills or Link Skills are registered and then they are unequipped, they will remain in the Alarm UI and can be removed manually. However, during Open Job Advancement, all skill alarms will be reset.

    In the Ursus UI, when inviting party members, characters who have not defeated 300 monsters within their level range for that day will no longer be able to be invited to the party.

    Achievements


    Fixed an error where the ‘Ereb Expedition’ achievement’s list of map names was wrong.

    Fixed an error where the ‘[Rune] The Fun of Choosing Runes’ achievement could not be completed. If you have already used all of the Runes but have not received the achievement, you can complete it by refreshing your achievements.

    Fixed an error where the ‘[Midnight Chaser] King of Hide and Seek’ achievement could not be completed in certain situations.
