One last test world patch before 6th job is released!! This patch contains the actual 6th job advancement quests, the actual Hexa Matrix system, and lots of 6th job skill changes (plus the Enhancement Cores) as well as the level 280 area Arteria and other improvements. I was going to include a more in-depth guide to the 6th job advancement quests and how the Hexa Matrix system works but this post was already pretty late and there will probably be some changes by the time it releases in the live server, so I’ll add it in to the next one. The next post will probably require going through every single skill so it will definitely take some time! As mentioned in the previous test world developer notes, we will continue to make improvements/fix errors with 6th job skills continuously until they are released in the official server. However, in the case of certain errors happening in the current test world, we decided that proper testing was impossible unless we fixed them right away so we made some more changes in the test world. First of all, we fixed an error where certain classes could not properly enhance their Mastery Cores. Also, for Bowmasters, we added a feature that automatically changes Hurricane when you reach the maximum amount of Special Arrowheads to improve skill usage convenience, and we fixed an error where the skill would stop if you jumped while using it. Also, we are planning to fix other skill usage errors like how the Shooting Mode’s attack activation timing is slower than Normal Mode’s before it is released on the official server. In addition to the things that are being fixed right away this time, there are many other things that are already being changed or reviewed. There will definitely be lots of additional fixes that will be discovered after this test world update and we will do our best to fix them when they are released in the official server. As we said in the previous live broadcast, we apologize for not being able to provide a satisfactory experience to all players at the same time. In this situation, I think the only thing our development team can do is make the most of our available resources and quickly fix/improve things. [Back to Overview] Hexa Matrix System The 6th job advancement’s Hexa Matrix system has been added. You can activate Hexa Cores to acquire Hexa Skills and Hexa Stats. Hexa Skills Hexa Skill Cores are divided into Skill Cores, Mastery Cores, Enhancement Cores, and Common Cores. Skill Cores: When activated, you can learn new skills. Mastery Cores: When activated, you can learn skills that replace or enhance 4th job and lower skills. Enhancement Cores: When activated, you can enhance your 5th job skills. Common Cores: When activated, you can acquire skills that be used by all classes. Common Cores will be added at a later date. Hexa Skill Cores can be upgraded up to level 30. When the Cores are upgraded, the levels of the skills activated by them are increased as well. Master Cores and Enhancement Cores can only be activated when certain 5th job skills are above a certain level. If you unequip or disassemble a V Core and do not meet the skill level requirements anymore, the Hexa Skill Core will be deactivated and you will not be able to use the skill learned from that Skill Core. Hexa Stats Hexa Stats allows you to increase your stats by acquiring and enhancing Stat Cores. Hexa Stats consist of the following stats. Critical Damage Boss Damage Defense Ignore Damage Attack/Magic Attack Main Stat There are a total of 6 Stat Cores. In this update, you can only activate 1. The remaining Stat Cores will be added at a later date. A single Stat Core can be assigned 1 main stat and 2 additional stats. A single Stat Core cannot have multiple of the same type of stat. You cannot equip multiple Stat Cores with the same main stat. Additional stats can be stacked up to 2 times over all Stat Cores. Stat Cores can be upgraded up to level 20 (each Stat can only go up to level 10). Each time you try to upgrade a Stat Core, one of the three stats’ levels will be increased based on a set chance. When a Stat Core reaches level 10 or higher, you can pay 10m mesos to reset its stat levels. When a Stat Core reaches level 20, you can save its upgraded mode. You can then apply this saved upgrade’s effects at any time (by overwriting your current Stat Core’s upgrades). You can pay 100m mesos to change the types of stats in a Stat Core. We confirmed and fixed an error in Stat Cores where the attack/magic attack values were set higher than intended. Also, please note that % increasing options applying to the attack/magic attack from Stat Cores is intended and will be the same even in the official server update. Common The Origin Skill shared party cooldown has been removed. You can now use other Bind skills on enemies that are currently Absolute Bound. Fixed an issue where Absolute Bound enemies could still attack. When you use an Origin Skill in the air, you will now continue to float during the skill action. Fixed an issue where sometimes the skills could be used without cooldowns. Fixed an issue where if Origin Skills were used immediately after using certain skills, the effects were not activated properly. Fixed an issue where if certain Mastery Skills’ cooldowns were reset, it was difficult to see in the quick slot. Fixed an issue where if Origin Skills were used immediately after using movement skills, it would appear awkwardly to other characters. Fixed an issue where the sliding banner displayed to other party members when casting an Origin Skill was covered by buff icons. Fixed an issue where if Origin Skills were used at the same time as changing maps, the character could not move afterwards. Fixed an issue where if you changed maps while casting certain Origin Skills, the Origin Skill’s effects would not be fully applied. The description of the Absolute Bind resistance icon that is displayed after using an Origin Skill has been changed. This skill now increases the attack range of Sword of Burning Soul’s normal mode when you cast it. Fixed an issue where the maximum number of enemies hit did not diecrease when cast in Enrage. Skill Core Spirit Caliber: The damage has been increased from 3240% to 3900%. All attacks will now activate Final Attack. Fixed an issue where Sword of Burning Soul did not activate. Fixed an issue where you could right click the invincibility buff after casting the skill to cancel it. Fixed an issue where casting the skill would cancel the previously used skill action. Shooting Mode’s attack logic has been changed. Instead of being a skill that attacks a certain range, it has been changed into a skill that fires arrows more quickly, the same as Hurricane. Fixed an issue where Mortal Blow was not applied. Fixed an issue where the Special Arrowheads were consumed even when Shooting Mode’s attacks did not hit. Fixed an issue where Shooting Mode reset when changing maps while in Shooting Mode. The display location of the number of Special Arrowheads has been changed. The magic arrows activated during Relic Liberation’s damage has been increased from 1080% to 2700%. The Curse Explosions from Ancient Rage’s damage has been increased from 1200% to 2400%. Ancient Rage has been changed to only be activated when your own directly attacking skills hit an enemy. Fixed an issue where Enchant Force/Ancient Force skils’ final damage boost effect during Relic Liberation did not apply to certain skills. Throw Blasting Enhancement: Throw Blasting is enhanced. Level 30: Throw Blasting’s final damage is increased by 60%. Shadower Mastery Core Assassinate VI: Pulverize VI’s final strike will now consume the Murderous Intent buff to have 50% increased final damage. Pulverize VI’s final strike’s damage has been decreased from 1170% to 835%. Pulverize VI’s maximum number of charges has been decreased from 10 to 5. The Dark Sight duration when activated after using Pulverize VI has been increased from 3 seconds to 6 seconds. Fixed an issue where the amount of time required to stay inside Smokescreen to increase Pulverize VI’s number of uses was displayed as 3 seconds instead of 1 second. Fixed an issue where the buff icon for the Dark Sight activated by Pulverize VI had no description. Skill Core Resolute Strike: The skill effect has been changed. The first strike’s damage has been increased from 3000% to 6300%, the number of hits has been increased from 5 to 6. The existing hotkey to switch to Full Screen Mode ‘ALT + ENTER’ has been changed to switch to the maximum resolution supported by your current monitor and client. When switching to the maximum resolution, if the monitor’s height and the client’s height match, the client will be converted to Borderless Windowed mode. In Borderless Windowed mode, when you hover over the top of the client screen, a drag bar will be displayed. You can adjust the location of the client by clicking and dragging on the drag bar. The UI Optimization feature has been added. It can be set in the Graphics tab of the Game Options. If the feature is turned on at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 or higher, the size of the UI will be adjusted to an appropriate scale optimized for the current resolution.
