    After investigating a mysterious Gachapon that suddenly appears in Maple World, you find yourself drifting to Goo Island, a place inhabited by Goos! New activities await your arrival on this mysterious island. Make friends with the Goos and complete daily activities to be awarded with the Blessing of Goo!     • Fixed the issue where the Angry Hair Salon Chair could be displayed in the opposite direction.
    • Fixed the issue where the Demon Bag Aura graphic below the character was not centered.
    • Fixed the issue where there was untranslated text when the player declined the invitation to join the Maple Chat room.
    • Fixed the issue where there was untranslated text in the entry cooldown message for Magnus (Hard).
    • Fixed the issue where the Mechanic skills "Jet Booster" and "Homing Beacon" had typos in their description.
    • Fixed the issue where the Rampant Cyborg Familiar's rank border was incorrectly displayed as Legendary. It will now correctly display the Unique rank border.

    • Fixed the issue where a male item was received when Zero character opened the Surprise Style Box. Now, if Alpha is opening the box, they will obtain a unisex or male item while if Beta is opening the box, they will obtain a unisex or female item.

    Goo Island


    UTC: August 25 (after maintenance) – September 21 at 11:59 PM

    Requirement: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

    • Goos came all the way from Goo Island to look for friends to play with and you’re the perfect playmate!
    • Accept the ‘[Goo Island] A Suspicious Gachapon’ quest within the Goo icon on the left side of the screen.
    • Each time you visit the Goo Island map, you will be transformed into one of the three Goos to blend in with the crowd!
    • You can select 1 out of 3 daily missions to complete each day. The daily missions are the following:
    • Each daily mission type has a total of 8 stages and you can level up when you complete the daily mission.
      • Ex: If you’ve completed Fruitapalooza 3 times and Dye Hunt 2 times, your stage status would be Fruitapalooza stage 3 and Dye Hunt stage 2.
    • Upon clearing the daily mission, daily rewards and final rewards will be distributed based on the stage of the mission. Check the reward details in the respective daily mission sections of the patch notes!
    • Goo Island will gradually upgrade its appearance as your stages increase.
    • Daily mission stage status is shared between your characters in the same world.

    Goo System Skins

    • Once you’ve reached stage 8 on any of the three daily missions, accept the ‘[Goo Island] Gift of the Goos’ quest within the Goo icon on the left side of the screen.
    • You will receive coupons that allow you to temporarily customize in-game system skins, such as the following:
      • Combo Kill
      • Multi KO
      • Rune
      • EXP Bar
      • Character Status
    • Each daily mission type gives a different system skin design that corresponds to the daily mission theme (excluding Combo Kill skin).
      • Fruitapalooza: Gloopy Goo
      • Goo Battle: Slime Goo
      • Dye Hunt: Basic Goo
    • After you’ve unlocked the coupons by reaching stage 8 on any of the three daily missions, you’ll then receive the coupons for the remaining daily missions when you reach the respective stages:
      • Stage 4: Goo Combo Kill Skin
      • Stage 5: Goo Multi KO Skin
      • Stage 6: Goo Rune Skin
      • Stage 7: Goo EXP Bar Skin
      • Stage 8: Goo Character Status Skin
    • The customized system skins will ONLY be applied to the character that used the coupon.
    • The system skin coupons can be used after the Goo Island Getaway event ends. All customized effects will be removed on October 19 at 11:59 PM UTC.
    • If you no longer wish to keep the customized skin, you can use the Goo UI Skin Reset Coupon to reset to default prior to its expiration.
    • If you accidentally removed the coupon or Goo UI Skin Reset Coupon from your inventory before using them, you can have the coupons reissued via the ‘[Goo Island] Goo Island Q&A’ quest.
      • Note: The coupons can ONLY be reissued to the character that previously received the coupons. They cannot be received by other characters in the same world.

    Blessing of Goo

    Requirement: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Your character must have completed the ‘[Goo Island] A Suspicious Gachapon’ quest.

    • Come receive the Blessing of Goo, an ancient power that emanates from the island!
    • Accept the ‘[Goo Island] Goo Bless You’ quest within the Goo icon on the left side of the screen.
    • There are 3 different skill categories based on the daily missions:
    • Upon completion of the daily missions, you will obtain skill points of the corresponding skill category.
    • The amount of skill points you receive will be based on your daily mission stage:
      • Stage 1-3: 1 skill point
      • Stage 4-6: 2 skill points
      • Stage 7-8: 3 skill points
    • You can obtain a total of 15 skill points for each skill category.
    • You can use the skill points by double-clicking on the skill displayed on the UI.
    • [Updated August 24] Skills must be unlocked in sequence if they are grouped.
    • Skill points that have been used cannot be reset.
    • Arcane River daily quests that are affected by the skill consist of the following:

    Requirement: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Your character must have completed the ‘[Goo Island] A Suspicious Gachapon’ quest.

    • The Gloopy Brothers need your help to decide who’s the most talented after all!
    • You get to select 1 of the 3 camps to be a part of during the event duration. You CANNOT change your camp after you’ve made your selection.
      • Team Red Goo
      • Team Purple Goo
      • Team Yellow Goo
    • Fruitapalooza camp participation is counted per region.
    • Your goal is to collect as many fruit scores for your camp as possible compared to the other two camps.
    • Complete the daily missions to collect the following fruits:
      • Goo Fruit: 1 fruit score is added to your camp upon use.
      • Ominous Goo Fruit: Select another camp that’s not your own and subtract 1 fruit score upon use.
      • Both fruits are untradeable and will expire on September 21 at 11:59 PM UTC.
      • The fruits cannot be used between 11:40 PM - 12:20 AM UTC and 11:40 AM - 12:20 PM UTC each day.
    • Team Size Rankings and Goo Fruit Rankings for each camp will be calculated every 12 hours at 12:00 AM and 12:00 PM UTC.
      • The camp with the most members cannot accept new members until it is no longer the camp with the most members based on Team Size Rankings.
      • If there is a player difference greater than 1,000 between the camp with the second most members and the camp with the third most members, the camp with the second most members cannot accept new members until the gap decreases based on Team Size Rankings.
    • You are given 6 types of daily quests and each will give either a Goo Fruit or Ominous Goo Fruit:
      • Goo Fruit Daily Quest:
        • Hunt 999 monsters in the level range
        • Hunt 5 Elite Monsters/Champions
        • Obtain Pollo/Fritto reward 2 times
      • Ominous Goo Fruit Daily Quest:
        • Obtain Inferno Wolf reward 1 time
        • Activate Runes 2 times
        • Clear a Surprise Mission 1 time
    • You must complete all 6 of the daily quests to complete the Fruitapalooza daily mission.
    • The daily quests can be completed simultaneously.
    • Once you’ve completed the daily mission, you’ll receive rewards based on your stage.
      • Daily mission rewards can be claimed once per world.
      • Goo Coins from the reward can be used for the Goo Gachapon event. Click here for details!
    • After claiming the daily mission reward, you can complete the following daily missions up to 20 times per day for additional fruits:
      • Goo Fruit Repeated Quest:
        • Hunt 999 monsters in the level range

    • Prove you are the strongest of the Goos by competing in a 2v2v2 competition against other players!
    • Accept ‘[Goo Island] Goo Battle Needs Champions’ quest within the Goo icon on the left side of the screen.

    • Once you’ve accepted the quest, you are given a daily mission to obtain 200 Goo Bubbles. You can obtain them by participating in the Goo Battle event.
    • You can collect up to 200 Goo Bubbles per day.
    • Once you’ve completed the daily missions, you’ll receive rewards based on your stage.
      • Daily mission rewards can be claimed once per world.
      • Goo Coins from the reward can be used for the Goo Gachapon event. Click here for details!
    • Once you queue for the event by talking to Slime Goos, you will be placed in a team with one other player. You can queue as a 2-player party to be on the same team.

    • You will be given a daily mission to obtain 200 Goo Dyes and bring them to Messy Goo. You can obtain them by participating in the following events:

    Giga-Goo Assault

    Requirement: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Your character must have completed the ‘[Goo Island] A Suspicious Gachapon’ quest.

    • Collect dyes flying towards you while avoiding Giga-Goo’s Assault!
    • You can accept the invitation quest every hour on the 15-minute and the 45-minute mark from the invitation that appears on top of your character.
      • You must have selected Dye Hunt as your daily mission to receive the invitation.
      • The invitation will not appear in the following circumstances: Cash Shop, Monster Life, changing channel, participating in other events, etc.
    • There are a total of 3 stages. There must be a minimum of 10 participants for the game to start.
    • The goal of this game is to successfully avoid attacks and obtain as many Goo Sacks within the time limit to earn Goo Dyes.
    • When you are hit by an attack, your movement will temporarily be restricted and you are unable to obtain the Goo Sacks.
      • You can use the Spacebar key on a stunned player to free them and earn points in return!
    • When the stage ends, rewards will be distributed based on your rankings.
    • Rankings will reset every stage.
    • You cannot earn the rewards if you leave during the game.
    • You can earn up to 200 Goo Dyes per day.
    • If you reach your Goo Dye capacity for the day, you can still participate in the game but no longer obtain Goo Dyes.

    • Enjoy the adventures of exploring the lost city of Goo-opolis with your party members!
    • You can talk to Messy Goo if you would like to enter the Goo Ruins Exploration.
      • If you did not select Dye Hunt as your daily mission, you can still participate in Goo Ruins Exploration but you will not obtain Goo Dyes.
    • You must be in a party of 4 players to begin the Goo Ruins Exploration.
      • Goo Ruins Exploration is a Cross World Party Quest!
    • There are a total of 5 stages, including navigating random portals, studying constellations to find a hidden code, activating switches in a set order, and more.
    • Work together with your party members to clear all of the stages as fast as possible to receive more Goo Dyes.
    • You can only use the designated Jump and Attack keys during the party quest.
    • You will receive different rewards depending on the time it took for you to clear all 5 stages.
    • At the reward map, each player can select a portal that leads you to a different reward box. A portal that has been selected by other characters cannot be used.
    • Each character will be given 3 death counts. If all death counts are consumed, the character will not receive the rewards.
    • You can earn up to 200 Goo Dyes per day.
    • If you reach your Goo Dye capacity for the day, you can still participate in the party quest but no longer obtain Goo Dyes.

    Tranquility Falls

    Requirement: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Your character must have completed the ‘[Goo Island] A Suspicious Gachapon’ quest.

    • Goos rest at Tranquility Falls to charge up their energy for the next day. Try taking a break at Tranquility Falls yourself!
    • Accept the ‘[Goo Island] Tranquility Falls’ quest within the Goo icon on the left side of the screen.
    • Place your character at a specific area inside the Tranquility Falls to receive various perks.
    • There are six platforms inside the Tranquility Falls. Each platform is designated with a trait.
      • Yellow: Diligence
      • Red: Ambition
      • Green: Empathy
      • Pink: Charm
      • Blue: Willpower
      • Purple: Insight
    • When you place your character on each platform, you will acquire designated trait points.
    • You can earn up to 500 points per day for each trait except Charm.
      • You can earn up to 5,000 points per day for Charm.
    • If you place your character where the white effects are, you can earn EXP up to 8 hours per day.
      • Characters must be Lv. 105 or above to obtain EXP.
    • You can receive additional rewards based on the cumulative hours spent on obtaining EXP and/or trait points for the day. These rewards can be claimed the next day once per world daily.
      • You can receive these additional rewards by accepting the ‘[Goo Island] Brimming with EXP’ quest and/or ‘[Goo Island] Brimming with Traits’ quest within the Goo icon on the left side of the screen.
      • [Updated August 24] You will receive cumulative rewards based on the time spent.
        • [Updated August 24] Ex: Players who spent 6 hours collecting EXP will receive both 2x EXP Coupon (30 min) (x3) and Goo Growth Potion.

    Neo Burning World Leap

    Requirement: Lv. 150 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2). Only for characters in Burning World.

    • Did you have a blast training in Burning World? It’s time to leave Burning World behind and find yourself a new home.
    • Your characters will be moved to the Burning Leap Zone map after the maintenance where you can proceed with World Leap by talking to NPC Mover.
    • Your characters, regardless of whether they are a ‘Burning’ character or not, must be Lv. 150 and above to World Leap. Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2.
    • You can move up to six characters that meet the requirements.
    • Characters can be transferred to any non-Reboot worlds only. You can only transfer within your region.
    • You may send your Burning characters all to the same world, or to different worlds.
    • You can move the character even if you don’t have an empty character slot in the world you chose.
      • If you have reached the max character limit in the world you chose, you will have to delete a character first and create an empty slot before moving your Burning World characters to that world.
      • If the world you chose has empty character slots, one of the open character slots will be used.
    • Your character must leave or disband their Guild before proceeding with World Leap.
      • When you talk to Mover, you will be given an option to Disband the Guild or the Alliance. You can also use the Guild UI to leave the Guild.
    • The leaped character will have the Neo Core amount and Neo Force skill level of the leaped world.
      • The character’s Neo Stone amount will be transferred to the leaped world. However, the Neo Stone accumulation would follow that of the leaped world.
        • If you leap to a world where there is no pre-existing Neo Stone accumulation recorded, you will only have access to the default section for the shops that unlock based on the accumulated Neo Stone amount.
    • Your character's equipped items, inventory, and mesos will be transferred with your character.
    • There is no item restriction that would prevent the qualified characters from participating in the Burning World Leap.
    • Items in your Cash Shop Inventory, Storage, Auction House, and mail will not be moved. Please remember to move these items to your inventory before World Leap.
    • Game information, such as rankings and special medals (Donation King, etc.), will not be moved.
    • Expanded character slots in Burning World will not be transferred.

    • Cassandra prepared a special treat to celebrate the coming of autumn, a safari!
    • Accept the ‘[Animal Friend Safari] Choose Your Animal’ quest within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen.
    • Upon accepting the quest, you will be given an option to select one of the twelve animals. You CANNOT change the animal once you’ve selected it.
    • The selected animal’s icon will appear next to the character name for all your characters in the same world.
    • When you accept the ‘[Animal Friend Safari] Daily Greetings Mission’ quest, one of the twelve animals will be assigned to greet.
      • Daily missions are shared between all your characters in the same world.
      • Daily missions can be completed a total of 3 times throughout the event duration.
    • You must find another player that selected the animal that meets your daily mission requirement.
    • Once you’ve found the player, right click on the character and select ‘Greet’ button at the bottom of the menu.
      • There is a 1-minute cooldown after sending a greeting. There is no cooldown for accepting a greeting.
    • If the daily mission completion is not reflected immediately after greeting the player that met the requirements, we recommend avoiding the following actions and waiting about 10 seconds:
      • Send greeting
      • Accept greeting
      • Talk to NPC
    • The daily mission resets every day at 12:00 AM UTC.
    • Animal Friend Safari rewards can be claimed once per world.
