What do you hope to achieve other than getting to 250? Do you want to be able to solo Hellux? Or be #1 in the dojo? Or maybe you just want to collect a bunch of cute NX equips? I want to "main" the ice-lightning classes: Thunder Breaker, Aran, I/L mage. I just like the aesthetic and think it would be fun. I don't know if I'd ever actually do that. It'll probably be me maining my TB and getting Aran + I/L to like, 210 before I get drained ... I also like collecting rabbit NX equips but there are so fucking many I don't think I'd ever be able to complete my collection. Also maybe one day I'll be able to solo CRA/Hellux myself so Zac will not have to carry me! Maybe.
Fucking bitches and getting money, obviously. Also, getting to 250 some day sounds nice, but I hardly ever play the game, so eh.
Well to start, finish getting my arcane weapon, only 77 more droplets to go. Get my Legion to 8k levels and finish getting level 3 links on DA/DS/Cannoneer/Lumi. Get 12 star Tyrant Boots and Cape and transpose them. Get my gear to 27/30% or 30/33% dex and 14/15 star everything. Kill some hard bosses. Cry as I realize Ive wasted so much time on this game.
I kinda finished mine, but if I had any now they would probably be completing my collection of Evan items (of which I only need skill books and the original dragon glasses) and hitting 250 on my Evan & Kanna.
My current goal is to understand the hype of 5th job, Everyone keeps telling me it will triple my damage, but im only seeing up to double damage assuming I max my nodes(haha this seems very unlikely for a long time)
Long term: 250 marksman geared to the teeth. Shorter term: 3k legion by end of year and 230 on mm Ill worry about droplets next year
Tilt the most amount of people with as little effort as possible. *cough 4 star transposed cape cough*
I've been playing on and off since the game was released, but I never really understood how to progress in regular servers without paying to win. When I turned to Reboot, my only goal was to reach "casual endgame" (just being able to solo HMag and CVel) without getting carried at all. After a few months of establishing link skills and character cards, taking a break and coming back only to swap mains, then farming mesos and nodes for half a year, I was finally able to solo HMag and CVel as well as clear Damien and Lotus in undersized parties on my Wind Archer. Satisfied with progressing further than I ever had before, experiencing much of the content the game had to offer, and achieving my goals, I decided to call it quits there.
250 WA by mid December 8k legion by end of Winter Break Start funding 2nd Main 3L everything on my WA Get 12/12/12 on my Tyrants Get Tyrant Gloves never because screw invasion times
When I got back into Maple in 2015, I didn't have any goals in mind. I was a F2P player maining the weakest class in the game, so I accepted that I would never see any endgame content. Instead, I made it my goal to do whatever I felt like (events, professions, collecting random things, making gear for mules, anything), have fun doing it, and quit as soon as I stopped enjoying myself. Two years later, I'm still here, and suddenly I can solo CRA with all the incidental progress I've made over 2 years (and a few helpful Hayato buffs, heheh). As of now I don't have any plans to further progress my character. I never envisioned myself getting this far, so I'm very happy with where I am. Right now I'll continue playing the game aimlessly and see where it takes me. Perhaps one day I'll get 8k legion and say to myself, "oh when did that happen". Realistically I don't think that's going to happen, but then again I thought the same thing about CRA, so who knows.
For a personal goal, I don't have one. I'll never be satisfied with my current powerlevel, but at the same time, I don't feel the need to try so hard. I'm strong enough to do whatever I want to do in the game, so getting stronger has become more of a hobby than a chore. What my real goal is, is to spread my love of this game and my class to the greater community. When somebody mentions my class, I'm happy. When somebody asks for help about playing my class, I'm delighted. When somebody starts using the same language I do when describing my class, I'm ecstatic. It may sound weird to others, but just hearing other Paladins adopting the name 'Spinning Hammers' has become a fetish of mine.
i'll get 250 eventually, get an arcane weap, be able to solo some hard bosses without spending a lot of money like lots of people and just chill with friends
Continually improving for the next boss. Working on things like gear, legion, links, etc. Links are pretty much done at this point unless they remove the cap. Gear can always get better. Legion currently 8234 and looking at 8500 and beyond in the future.
