MapleStory is a constantly evolving game, full of heroes, villains, and everything in between. But none of them are as important to us as you, our players who make Maple World what it is! The history of MapleStory is a long and winding one, but now we'd like to turn the attention to you, and hear more about your own journeys that you've taken as MapleStory has grown over the years. The question we'd like to ask you all is: What's Your MapleStory? If you'd like to submit your story, you can do so via this form.

For today's edition of What's Your MapleStory, we spoke to EliteFuture, who shares about their years of MapleStory adventure as a Phantom!

How long have you been playing MapleStory and how were you first introduced to it?

I've been playing MapleStory since 2006 or 2007, when I was 6 or 7. My neighbor told me about a game we could play together, so we tried it out and I loved it. I then played MapleStory on and off since then - taking long breaks seems healthy at times.

What is your favorite class in MapleStory?

Phantom is my favorite class ever since its release. I loved the aesthetic and overall playstyle of Phantom. Phantoms are great in that they don't require reworks directly to feel new. Although Phantoms feel a bit weak compared to others (I know I shouldn't compare myself to others), I still feel like they have very high potential in the late game if I ever reach my goal.

What is your fondest social memory in MapleStory?

Honestly, my best social memories within MapleStory are always the most recent ones. The most recent one being our first Normal Lucid clear a few months back with my guildmates. This was a huge achievement for all of us; it required a lot of teamwork and mechanics to kill Lucid together, no one even died out! It was tons of fun fooling around while running practice runs. I wouldn't trade these memories for anything. I hope to make many more amazing memories with friends, whether that's just hanging out in Henesys, or clearing the next hard boss.
